I don't know what it is, but I can't stand Kim Sun Ah.
Which makes enjoying her dramas so much harder! ;D
that's probably because the way she acts is the same no matter what kind of character she plays.

Omg, I just remembered you were talking about this mute character and yes, I love him! He's too sweet and he's always so helpful it kinda breaks my heart a little. :(

I love your top 4! Those are extraordinary love stories and more. I've seen Sweeney Todd, too--love Johnny Depp! :)
I haven't seen Her and My Fair Lady. Both has interesting plots and I'll take them as great recommendations! :D I enjoy watching movies as well though I'm not as organized as you are; I don't have a list of my top 7 because I like a lot of movies! :D
But from those I've recently seen, 'The Reader' comes to mind a lot more often than others for its impact on me and one movie that I'd like to watch over and over again is 'Avatar'.

Good news! I have finally taken a step out of the hermit cave and started watching a Kdrama! :D I marathoned 7 episodes of King's Daughter until this morning! Wooh! *throws confetti* I hope I can keep this up! :D

Omo, the ending was that bad huh? :O Yikes!
Yeah, that wasn't smart thinking. But if the script relied on digital effects, common sense would tell them they'd need to find sponsors to finance it.

That reminds me, I haven't finished KPOPTUA and left it hanging in the middle. It couldn't sustain my interest and I felt no urgency to finish it.
I thought Faith was a mess too? I saw the original trailer that drama with Kang Ji Hwan and thought it would have made quite an impact. The script was heavily revised that it had no resemblance to the original drama.

I definitely know how that feels. And of course there are dramas that start out great and when they end you think wtf happened! XD But because of your honesty, I will go on and take a peek too! :D

That's the main reason why I was disappointed in Beck. The film was supposed to be about music and there I was listening to NOTHING that was being alluded to the moon or getting high. :p I liked the anime much better. At least they tried.
That is good then! I don't want to watch another life-of-a-band movie again.
I've got a good recommendation on King's Daughter and wanted to give it a shot since I feel it's been ages since I've seen a Kdrama. :) How was Episode 1 for you?

I'm going to watch King's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang. And yes, you did. I don't like band movies that much though (ever since I saw Beck) but I'll give it a try soon.

True! And it's worth the fun! :)
I haven't started the Kdrama yet--it's a historical! *GASP!* :D I find myself wanting to watch more funny Japanese movies nowadays though.
Love your Older than 30 men's list and Under 30 women's list. I loved Kitagawa Keiko in Akumu-Chan she was an awesome heroine. Not really fond of Karina Nose but my daughter likes her. :)

Oh gosh! I was thinking the same thing when I saw The Weight's trailer. I thought 'I am soo not ready for this right now!' LOL
But, based on that trailer, I think the presentation in The Weight is much more artistic, more grotesque and much darker. Love Exposure has a coarseness, randomness and Japanese perverseness (the only kind of perverseness that makes me tolerate it). And there was no nudity.
No, good thing the net was bad and I got to watch it alone later that night! omg, I would've slapped myself if we watched it together! XD

Love Exposure has the same exact effect on me. It was a visual assault and I haven't quite gotten over the hard-ons they had on the film. XD And there was an equal share of sismance as well.
I know, right! He doesn't seem to be the type who'd play such a daring role! I haven't seen Hikari in any other film but she can definitely go from virginal to horny! XD
And to think I asked my girl to watch it together because I thought it was a wholesome, harmless comedy. Oh boy, was I wrong! XD

Crossing my fingers for you! :D I watched Love Exposure last week and it was weird but the topics were indeed controversial and the movie's method of presenting them was vulgar and porn-ey(or at least I think it was) but surprisingly hard-hitting. Takahiro-kun was a surprise--I will never look at him the same way again! Q___Q

Gosh! That sounds reaally enticing right now! I think I'll take a peek of the first episode when I get home!
By the way, I'm on an out of town trip and will get back home in a couple of days. If I'm not able to reply right back, I'm still out in the wilderness. :D
