My Sassy Girl has a similar tone to the Japanese film Cyborg She only that the latter is more into sci-fi. But then again, they're from the same director/screenwriter which explains why. :)

I didn't know it was pushed back before! There really must be an issue. Nowadays when things like that happen, I remember Kim Myung Min as Anthony Kim in The King of Dramas. :D

We've started watching Yukan Club and so far we like the characters. Miroku's random emo mode is funny! :) Coincidentally my cousin recommended the drama to her so she wasn't picky about watching something else.

Runway Cop was hilarious! As usual, Kang Ji Hwan is so funny and the movie runs on a similar vein as My GF is an Agent minus the annoying female lead. :P

That's great! I'm new to IMDB and I haven't listed anything on there yet. I love period dramas as well and I like to befriend anybody whose tastes are similar. :)

There were minor spoilers (or major if I look at a few) in your article and I think it would help readers--especially…
Agreed. Though since it was off-topic/not pertaining to LJS, I thought it was necessary to put it in there. ;)

Haha! XD Okay, sealed with red wax! Let's get hitched! See you in a fortnight! XD

Please Teach Me English is so-so and Windstruck is sort of a prequel to My Sassy Girl (I liked both but I liked MSG better).

I'm not sure if there's more to the subbing issue. The drama's from a cable network so that suggests not many Koreans might be watching it.

I finally finished this drama! It got a bit better in the last 20 episodes and I seriously enjoyed it then. But…
Omg, finally! Somebody else who understands me! :)

There were minor spoilers (or major if I look at a few) in your article and I think it would help readers--especially those who haven't watched any of the mentioned drama or movie--to prepare themselves if you made a note/disclaimer at the top. :)

Don't worry, you are not littering at all! :) Thanks for the compliment! I actually get a lot of comments and gained new MDL friends because of Richard Armitage! I've realized how popular he and BBC's North & South is when people comment. :) How did you discover the drama adaptation of N&S?

Oh gosh! Thanks for these! I added them on my ptw right away! I think I'll give Yukan Club a try and convince my daughter to watch it with me. She prefers watching Japanese dramas and movies more than any other Asian stuff.

I'll probably watch Runway Cop first though! Kang Ji Hwan is funny and silly! XD

nde naman ako nagalit, sis. Pinagsabihan ko lang na sa susunod, before she commits again, iinform muna niya kami ng Papa nya. Old fashioned ka pala sis. But nothing's wrong with that. Pero I think, magiging pihikan na ang anak ko after that. :)

Lol! XD It is for me too! I even think that the 90s were just a decade ago! XD

True! I wouldn't mind that but the only thing they had going were letters. Oh these 'classic-era' people. Courtship by mail and proposals out of the blue. :P

Oh hunks indeed! :D Though I've only seen Jang Hyuk in Please Teach Me English and Windstruck, he is a sexy funny in both. I haven't seen Oh Ji Ho in anything yet though I've seen a few MDL articles recommending Couple or Trouble, I don't think I can stomach watching Han Ye Seul. He has a currently airing ghost-seeing detective drama...I wonder if the subbing problem is getting fixed...

XD

Yeah, it was recent--no wait, 12 years is not that recent though. XD

I agree. At least Dorcas is comfy with her single-blessedness. :) Laura is just like waiting for the next cute guy she could hook up with.

Two hunks? Where? XD

I wouldn't normally recommend a sageuk that runs over 60 episodes to anybody. QSD has its share of romanticism and inaccuracies although the main characters are real. But fact is I simply loved the two women who made this drama an incredible watch, and the men are equally as interesting. :D

I think I'll need a funny drama to make me snap out of this hellish slump. :\

It is very different and it wasn't always like that. We used to have separate subjects for Social Studies, PE/Music and Arts, and Home Economics. And not only is it difficult, it's hard to understand why they're grouped that way in both elementary and HS education. :P

But...? I think Dorcas' preference aren't at all better. She seems more at peace at being a spinster. I wouldn't exactly call James Dowland an awesome candidate for her but I did feel sorry for him because he was misunderstood and I couldn't see why she had to meddle with his son.

I haven't finished season 3 yet, by the way. My daughters are on summer vacation mode and they are all over the computer! XD I can't wait for my youngest's school to end. Two more days and then a closing party.

QSD has always been my #1 and Gaksital was a recent #2. But I love fantasy dramas/movies just as much. And yeah, you are right. Everything's predictable that it is boring! That's why I turned to English dramas for a breather.

It could and it did the last time. Social Studies is one of four components of one big subject and its average weigh heavier than the rest. The last time she barely passed on her quarterly exam, her grade was pulled down by 4-5 percent.

Ah well, Mr. Darcy is a gallant Knight-in-Shining-Armour but before that he was a snob who stuck his high nose into his friend's business. XD But Daniel Parish? Screwed everybody by mere words and I can't believe how Laura ignored that and went on as if nothing happened. I don't trust him--he's fishy! XD
