Am I the only one sooo sad we didn’t get more scenes between Huayong and Tianyuan?! 😭😭 I loved Tianyuan’s…
I would have liked more as well. The scene where CP finds out that TY has been thinking of himself as the expendable blade ... and then finds out that CP really sees him as 'my man' instead. There was a really nice couple of moments in that scene. Some good acting. And it was just wonderful to see the younger man grow in self esteem and hope and also in his appreciation for his boss. You could just see all these new layers in their relationship being uncovered and reformed and just ... deepened. Wonderful!
Yes, so it turns out that forcing her to marry him and the rebellion in the end were all faked by Prince Xin in…
when he's dying in her arms he says that he wouldn't be able to change and break his obsession with her ... so he was essentially sacrificing himself for her sake and his own. the situation he was creating could never have just gone away cuz he would never get over her.
i also wanted to know he aged alot and not able to walk well o_o
He had a habit of trying out new medications on himself before giving them to the CP. And they had been extreme in the past so I imagine that the one he found that finally worked, did a good amount of harm to them both. Miracles are costly. Often they're poisonous and ... also it's pretty bad to have to watch someone you care and worry about go through a lot of pain. It can be worse than experiencing the pain yourself. Which might be why he ended up looking worse than the CP did.

It wasn't all faked though. He was going down that path until she told him why she chose his brother's love over his. Once he understood that he needed to change but couldn't, he decided to go to the worst extreme so that his behavior would benefit her and take him out of the picture.
Is anyone else super sad about Prince Xin’s death? Some might call him obsessive, but I never really got that…
I don't think that he loved her more than the CP did. And I don't think he loved her in both of her lives. I think he was a possessive man who couldn't live with the knowledge that he had failed to protect or save his wife the first time around. He had terrible guilt and remorse and was desperate for another chance. Partly for her and partly because he couldn't live with that picture of himself. Anyway, I wasn't sorry to see him go because in going he proved that he had finally understood both her and himself. He really hadn't been able to see or appreciate the difference between his love and his brothers and what the difference meant to her. So, it was a true revelation for him, when he finally asked and she described the difference. That changed him. It didn't happen before that. He was honestly becoming quite a frightening villain but he turned that around to her advantage when he made his final decision to redeem himself and do what they both needed him to do. I don't quite agree that it was a glorious redemption or a wholehearted love though. He just realized that he was hurting her, ruining himself and he would never be able to break away from his guilt-ridden, possessive obsession in any other way. Reality, futility and better thinking finally sank in.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! I woke up excited every single morning for new episodes. That's the biggest indicator…
I felt exactly the same way! That can't wait til the next episode and that excitement when you get it in the morning. Those are really very very good signs that a drama is working well. Very enjoyable.
Decisions. Decisions. Great ending. and a lovely conclusion, for an excellent drama. Now ... should it be 9.0 or 9,5? I think I need to do a start to finish binge-style re-watch ... to flow right through without the starts, stops and all that wait time. That should decide the .5 difference and ... well ... I just want to see it again. I want to see Tian Yuan's flat out run of joy again, the sweet moments that follow it. And absolutely everything that led up to them. And no stopping to read people's complaints on mdl. I want to just watch with my own thoughts cuz there's a lot of excitement in this drama but there are a lot of contemplative quiet moments too and they deserve to be enjoyed without noise. So, see you next time everyone. I hope you all enjoyed this drama as much as I did. It's not everyday that you get such a good blend of fun, funny, seriousness, excitement, drama, love, hate, infighting, suspense, mystery ... shamelessness :-) ... between some quite memorable characters.

What? Too many words? I just like to tell people about things that I enjoyed. Pls forgive and do whatever. Actually, I just looked at your watchlist and maybe you won't like it at all.

hahaha. Yes. Definitely. But at the end you might want it to be even longer! I did. Actually, I kinda binged it in three parts and it went by pretty fast with the well paced 45 minute episodes. Lots of cliffhangers. Lots of great characters and amazing moments including some fantastic fight scenes. So, it kinda just flows by. And you just might love it too. Try it and see :-) You might get bitten by it too. I mean ... which of those characters will be Lost Forever? If you're like me you might get very invested in the answer to that question. Let me know if you ever try it :-)

Lost You Forever was excellent. Slowish start so persevere. The two seasons together are really long ... so pace yourself. But, oh man, so worth it !!! I had to read the novel to get more after I finished the drama. Masterpiece level with a high re-watch value as well.
no need to delete. edit and then use the spoiler tag. if you ask me how to use the three dots to get into the editing fxn I will know that you are just yanking my chain :-)
