oh no that's unfortunate. Haha. I haven't seen her in anything since her Lost You Forever character lost the wrong one ... sometimes it's difficult to forgive ... :-)
We have had dramas about ink, paper, clothing material, beads salt etc and this one the way it is portrayed.
Ooooh. I think I missed some of these. I'm guessing that beads means Pearl Girl but I can't even guess about the others. Can you add to my watch list? :-)
I think it was when FTY "died" she singed some document and got sent to that town the scene was very short…
Not a coincidence. ZL wanted to follow Mo because they'd worked together and liked or at least trusted eachother. And Mdm Yu took care of the rest when she learned about it.
So I’m almost caught up (almost done with ep. 15). I am a little unclear about how Lady Zuo came to be in Ganlin…
Ms. Yu got Lady Zuo to set it all up once she found out that ZL and TY were following Commander Mo to Ganlin Town. There's a scene in her carriage where she tells her made to give Zou these directions. .
I’m sorry for all the questions, but the a**hole just showed up to cause trouble for the leads - and he accused…
The CP knew and Ms. Yu knew that he knew ... but I guess she didn't think she had to tell her son too much about the job that she had been a part of along with ZL and TY. So he doesn't have a clue and would have said it to ZL because it would have sounded scary under normal circumstances.
the letter he got to investigate the corrupt officials, is that from the emperor? Surely the emperor would not…
We don't know for sure but there isn't really anyone else who could have the authority, and the desire and ... knowledge of our boy ... and would need a newbie in town to do the job because everyone else has vested interests and might be in the ring of corruption So, yep, seems like it's the emperor.
Currently watching ep 17 Honestly what was ZL thinking? I guess he wasn't cause he knows JX is after him. He has…
I think, but I'm not totally sure, that ZL was in a truly tough position where he would have to say that his friend was lying ... i.e. accuse him ... or not ... and so he lied alongside him to save him from whatever punishment he would have gotten. So, I think ZL suspected that they were being set up but it was 100% sure thing that one of them would go down (on his own testimony) and a less than 100% chance that they would all go down if it wasn't a set up.
If he's going after corrupt officials though ... seems the Emperor has put him on that task ... it's not just…
She said they were and he has said that he's not yet betrothed. So, people will think that they aren't engaged or they'll think that he's jilted her but she doesn't know it yet (eeeks).
Tingyun should have slapped him at this point instead she burned all the evidence how can she do such a stupid…
Mmmmmm. It was a stupid thing to do for sure. But, in one way, it shows that her priorities and her world view have changed. Getting revenge and rehabilitating her reputation have paled in comparison to love and the life that she now wants. She also has more confidence now, I think. She knows there is more than one way to solve a problem and she's trusting that, in some way or other, she and ZL can achieve it together eventually.
if they won't get married soon I will go crazy. I understand that he wants to become powerful to protect her but…
If he's going after corrupt officials though ... seems the Emperor has put him on that task ... it's not just about being powerful enough to protect her, it's about keeping her from becoming a target and a bargaining chip for bad guys trying to escape justice. One of his big strengths in that role is that he has no weaknesses to exploit and nothing to lose. If it becomes well known that she is special to him, all that changes and she's in tremendous danger. So, I think we have to give him a wee bit of an extension even if it's embarrassing to TY.
The Capital Arc hell yeah. I however would like to know what happened in those 5 years to the Yu Family, their…
haha. I just asked exactly the same questions and then read your comment. I'm hoping that they're secretly working on it together and just playing their public parts too well. But it hadn't occurred to me to be so worried for A Sen. Please no. Why did you put this in my head Chocolate Brownie? I may not forgive you for this anxiety ... but I love your name :-)
They found an older A Sen actor that really looks like the could be the grown version of the younger actor.
But, why, in ep18 does he see ZL in the street and then ignore him? I thought for sure he would suddenly come down to sit and talk. Only that didn't happen.
So, I get that ZL is giving the public appearance that he's unattached so that he won't have a weakness for his enemies to exploit and the people he loves won't get hurt ... I'm wondering though if they met or there were letters back and forth to establish this act and FTY is in on it and the investigations.
I mean it might have been a coincidence; she might have stumbled on the house and the false deed. She would definitely send it to the authorities because that's in character for her even if she didn't know it would make an important case for ZL; one with a personal revenge payoff as well as a merit to be earned with an Emperor who's trying to root out corruption.
It would be a lot more delicious, though, if they're working together on the case ... but from different angles and she knows he's there but they're both having to wait for the right moment to go public again.
The question is, then ... are they working together or are they just coincidentally in sync?
why do i feel like it is a 20 min episode even though i know its 45 mins long ... I need more.
IKR? These episodes are so short and so fast. We need more ... to arrive faster ... all by tomorrow and last longer ... I haven't died waiting for episodes in quite a while. So much excitement and anticipation. So wonderful and so hard to take :-) ... :-( ... :-)
Oh no. Yucheng convinced everyone to claim the dirty headcount where innocents were killed. He did it because a rich villain manipulated him through his sense of injustice and his love for his mother. And then the injustice intensifies and his mother suddenly gets sick and dies when he's jailed for claiming the killings that he didn't do. I mean could the irony and the unfairness be any greater? How incredibly horrible he must have felt that everyone he loved suffered for his one bad choice. Grrrrrr. Tears.
This drama is so fun!!! I really love Ding Yuxi in this one, he looks so handsome. There’s just something about…
Reminds me of Korean actor Seo In Guk. I saw a director talking about him 'not having the typical leading man look but wow he really had something that was different and a special kind of handsome'. So, it seems to me that Deng Enxi is much the same ... which could be an especially good thing for a long term career.
You just willfully miss the point. You must know that this is different from your book example. You just dont give a sh*t about other people and you think you must be right at all times because upu have some superiority and entitlement complex. Must be American. Blocked. You just lost another person who might have been interested in what you had to say about dramas.
The system of archs and the generally horrible treatment of women who were widowed ... these things are historical facts ... aspects of society that were created by men.
