The FL. Stupid death. It seemed that they got rid of her because both MLs liked her, so that avoided the usual triangles and fights.

Based on S2 and how a couple cast changes made a difference. If they change more and still take all that time, I'll likely pass it.

Sad ending woth one of the main leads dying at the end, probably because the two alternatives would make worse for the audience. Neverthless, a great watch.

Great series. The writer did a great job, and the actors, director and producers lives up to the task. Great for binge watch, so the episodes fly by. Only let down in the spoiler.

I just started this one after finishing season 1 and got confused. Why did they change the characters' stories? The sister who married is no longer married? Their demeanors are different and not so funny as in season 1. Anyway, still in ep 2 and hope it improves and gets to same pace and humor as season 1.

This is a very good series. The story, production and acting are very good and I had good laughs. I read a few comments comparing this one with a similar called Perfect Match and have to agree that that one is a bit better overall. Neverthless, this series is great for anyone looking for a lighthearted story, easy to binge watch that provides great entertainment.
One thing that counted negative points was the soundtrack. It was strange at times and used adapted western music that played continuously to an annoying point sometimes. The sound suggested that Tencent did some kind of post production, maybe because it streams on YouTube?

That story was so confusing that I could not figure who were the main leads. But, I agree that ZLY is likely there only to attract viewers. I only watched because of her, and it was a painful watch.

One thing strange about it is a background music that resembles a Christmas music that keeps playing all the time, and becomes anoying after a while. Is it something Tencent did for the international audience?

Great point about the ancestrals and the "grandfather paradox". However, for this lighthearted drama, this plot hole is quite acceptable. 😉

This is a hidden gem. Despite the apparent low budget, the production team did a great job making a very entertaining series. The acting was all over the place but good enough for this short light-hearted and simple drama. It somehow reminded me of a movie called Overboard, with Goldie Hawn. It's a great binge watch, even if just to pass some time relaxing and unwinding

Great drama! The production in general, acting, special effects, and story are really good. Many plot twists and phenomenal fight scenes gallore. My only bother is too many crying scenes, mostly with the ML risking dehydration for crying so much. Neverthless, is definitely worth the watch.

Great news! Season 1 was awesome! I also hope they keep the original cast and do not take as long as Joy of Life to release the second season.

Yeah. I don't know why iQiyi does not translate some of them. There are several potentially very good ones there masked under the original Chinese tiles. Maybe they are still figuring out the English titles?

I just finished it. ZL really did not disppoint. It was quite interesting how she almost "metamorphosed" into different personalities. The makeups also made she look like completely different. It was great seeing the "old" ZL among them. However, overall, the dra wasn't that good. The writer overplayed the ML and FL roles making them too perfect. It was a very good binge watch story, so that gave it some points in my score. However, not more than an 8/10.

The first is worth watching. The second isn't too bad, but has too many long scenes that get boring.

Still in episode 15 and so far a generally good series. However, the over-the-top crying and cliché scenes are a bit too much. The director could have spared us from a good amount of it.
