Yes I noticed no subtitles on the app. Do you know why?
I use a PC browser and the website also does not have subtitles. I found some other titles much older that also do not have subtitles. So, I wonder this one will have the same treatment.
I just found a new series called Butterfly on Amazon Prime that lists KTH casted. I also find the series on The Movie DB (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/227114-butterfly?language=en-US) and she's listed there also. However, I do not see any reference here on MDL, neither when searching by the name (Butterfly), neither when searching on KTH's bio. Any clues?
The only thing I liked about this movie was the flood visuals. Everything else gets a zero. Also, why must a woman's…
It was not about a "woman with a child". Note how her feelings evolved from the beginning of the experiment until the end. Also note what the whole thing was about: feelings, and that was what she was in charge of. The movie did an excellent job telling the story.
This one was good but, for me, season 3 was better, closely followed by 2. I'm still confused with the first case. It did not have a clear ending and who was really behind the whole thing. Looking forward to season 5.
Wow! What a ride! It's rare to see such great storyteling. This movie has it all: great story, acting, direction, and production, topped by an awesome soundtrack. I have to confess that the plot twists got me most of the times. The ending was the big icing on the cake.
Excellent drama. The production is very detailed and does not seem to have spared any expenses. The acting overall is also masterful, and so the direction. The scenes in the cold areas made me feel cold. It has one or two plot holes, but anything adapted to TV audience will have them and in this case thry aren't detrimental to the story, which depicts the strugles the Chinese were dealing with fighting internal corruption and foreign greed. Definitely worth watching. I'll likely watch it again in the future.
This overall a good series. The production was good, good acting overall, and some decent special effects. However, it suffers from a similar issue that series like Candle in the Tomb do: some scenes are simply too long and end up boring. The eternal walk-through-tunnels and endless-discussion scenes add unecessary lenght. This series could cut several of them in half and do much better with fewer episodes.
The other thing is about the "scary" that other posters mention. There's nothing like that, at least if one already watched zombie movies.
The concept looked fine. However, the movie is really bad. I only managed to get to half of it. The story was a confusion of sci-fi with some attempts of God knows what. I was expecting something like Gantz or similar. However, it's a very confusing, boring, and poorly written story. I gave it 4.5 because I was feeling very generous.
Is this a season 4 of Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty with a different title, or it has a different storyline? Same actors and characters suggest the former. If the former, I wonder why they would change the title, since the series was excellent and season 3 suggested a continuation.
It's a good drama, the acting in general is very good, and so the production. The soundtrack is very pleasant and complements the story and scenes very well. However, the story... Some parts of it were a bit too much to watch and digest. The story could have been better. Neverthless, it's a great watch.
This series, like a good wine, gets better as it ages. I liked season 2 better than 1, and 3 even more. The chemistry between actors is great and adds a lot to its entertainment value. The production, acting and direction are just right. There was a hint of a season 4 and I hope it keeps the trend.
Good series. Its production did not spare in special effects and military ordnance for the drama. It also did a decent job on the military daily life, even though it let fantasy fly in several scenes. In a more realistic drama, the main characters would be spending a good amount of time in detention cells. Definitely a good watch for who wants an action-packed drama, Rambo style.
Very good series. The overall acting is good, nice story, the production very meticulous and did not seem to spare anything. I also liked the soundtrack, which complemented the story really well. However, SY does not convince as a general. Sandra Ma set the bar really high.
