Just finished. Indeed a masterpiece. This drama goes from very sober scenes to others that make us cry laughing…
The drama was going perfectly fine with a great scrip and pace. However, somehow they screwed up in the last two episodes. WTF the screenwriter did, or was told to do? Besides dumping several new scenarios, they were all rushed and left some stuff in the air. If it was because pf the 40-episodes limit, why not cut some stuff from the beginning and give more time in the end? Or, why simply not adding so many developments in the last minute? Besides that, everything else was simply perfect.
Just finished. Indeed a masterpiece. This drama goes from very sober scenes to others that make us cry laughing and the actors hold it perfectly. The production, direction and acting are superb. As nothing is perfect, some comments under the spoiler.
A bit past the middle. Excellent drama. Story, acting, production, direction, all are outstanding. If it continues like this it will be a 10/10 for me. The ML and FL are simply perfect. They can go from very serious scenes to others that make me cry for laughing so much so naturally. Only remember laughing like this in Love Like the Galaxy.
Fun and lighthearted drama with an extra perk of great sceneries around France. The acting wasn't top notch but good enough to keep it entertaining and binge watch.
Paused this one before going to season 2. Story gets really boring, main female character very self-entitled and main male character showing contempt for everyone else amidst throves of people being hacked like hay. The concept is not bad, but the screenwriter did a very bad job. Taking a break before thinking about season two. Rating is way, way overated.
This is an interesting movie to watch for who enjoys go. I've been thinking about learning it, hence my choice to watch it. In general, it was good enough even though go was just a secondary thought throughout the movie. I gave a 7/10 for the overall production.
Fun series and an eye delight for who enjoys tasty Japanese food. The stories pretty much repeated the themes in seasons one and two. It would make it even better. Neverthless, they hinted a romance between the two main leads as a possible theme for season four, which I have my doubts will come. Nonethelesa, it's a lightearted series, easy to binge watch and get mouthwatering while watching it.
In the middle of it and decided to pause. Script became too idiotic to bear. Some of the dialogues are more juvenile than middle school. So far I do not see how this one can get a better score than the previous Fox Spirit Matchmaker series, which was much better by far. I may finish it after watching some other stuff. So far not better than a 6/10.
This is a very good series. Has a little bit of everything in the right doses. TSY and XK as usual do an excellent job backed by a great set of supporting actors and actresses. The production was also meticulous and did a good job making this series easy to binge watch. The extra final episode was a nice touch.
Very good production but the story took a downturn from the middle onwards. I also did not get the ML just standing and staring like a moron while the world was on fire around him. Could had been a much better story.
It depends on how you see it. For me it was an open ending that left a few options for ML and FL be together. I liked it. The story, acting and production in general are great and worth watching.
Very nice drama. Great to watch SZE again. Have been missing her. I like to binge watch and this series was easy…
The story was great for a fantasy-style drama and even the ending suited it well and left it open for a season 2 that I hope happens at the same quality level. The time-travel sword was a creative prop and fixed that crazy bloodshed at the end. I understand that the ML did not want to take the FL with him, since he was going to face a civil war-like environment when back home. I see two options for him coming back for her: fixing that magical artifact or waiting for 12 years when the portal opens again. So, I don't get some of the complaints, since it was not a closed ending. It left a few options there.
Very nice drama. Great to watch SZE again. Have been missing her. I like to binge watch and this series was easy to do without skipping or fast forwarding. The production, acting, special effects and story in general were great. It's easy to watch and follow. Other comments under the spoiler tag.
It is now available on Viki. At least, the extra episode is available on Viki in my region. Do you see 41 episodes…
Thanks! I just looked again and saw it there. I will start watching it when finishing The Demon Hunter Romance. Last I saw the episodes' list, it only had 40. So, I guess they added it later.
I don't know about censorship. If there was, it was well done, since it did not seem to have gaps. The problem was with the plot itself. FL was in a coma for half the drama, which consisted of short stories based on the books FL had with her. It's just that some of the stories were really crazy. And the bad guy simply looked like a very dumb character the writer dropped there just for the heck of it.
Besides that, everything else was simply perfect.
