Good question. This is not the first series that Viki starts and seems to simply abandon a series without any explanations and it's not because the episodes were not released somewhere else. Two recent examples are: A Will Eternal and Since I Wasn't the Heroine. Another question is about the actual total time. According to MDS, it's 22 episodes of 10 minutes each (= 220 min). Viki released three episodes of approx 30 min each (= 90 min). However, Viki's cellphone app only mentions a total of six episodes (=180 min?). Where are the other 40 minutes?
I check IQ and episode 39 and 40 are showing and pull up for viewing.
Thanks! I'll check Bilibili. I tried Dailymotion before but the resolution of the shows I found there was very low. i have Viki Plus and it usually has good content. However, Viki has been dropping the ball on the translations lately. Some teams do a great job and release the English subs as the episodes come out. However, others are very sloppy and even after months still are at only 90% in several episodes, making very difficult to watch. The website used to be very good at that. I don;t know what's going on there.
I think she’s actually a trained dancer and quite good in some variety shows.
Maybe it's the type of dance she's trained to perform? When I watch Zhao Li Ying, Yang Zi, Li Qin, Zhao Lu Si, Bai Lu and others, she does not lit a candle for their graciousness both dancing and fighting. Maybe the director and choreographer did not do a good job. I just felt that her scenes weren't nearly as good as similar ones with the actresses I mentioned. There's also something about her smile that feels off. It felt like someone forcing a smile, not a natural one. It gets exacerbated when she's beside other actresses (e.g. the two Bai sisters). My wife felt the same thing. However, I also felt that she has potential for improvement.
Overall a good drama. I liked mostly the story, production, FX and OST, the latter really superb. However, some of the acting left to be desired, mostly the FL. She had a strange smile and did not seem to know how to dance. Other actresses, older and similar age can do much better. However, she has the potential to improve. The OST made many scenes really impactful. Still a nice series and I'll likely rewatch sometime in the future.
If it's Disney only it will be a no go for me. Hopefully Netflix will also stream it.
It's OK. It has been so long that it does not matter anymore. I'll not subscribe to another streamer just because of one series. If it eventualy comes to one of the ones I subscribe, great.
www.iq.com (official iQiyi app/website) works a lot better than youtube. I hate youtube.
iQiyi requires VIP paid subscription (similar to the Kiwi on YouTube). After its blunders on YouTube I'm no longer willing to pay them for anything anymore. Besides, it does not allow users to download the content to the PCs, only cellphones. On a side note, mirroring my cellphone on my TV is a pain because I use a constant-on VPN on the cellphone and it interferes with its direct connection to my TV. That makes it a no go for me either.

I tried WeTV but it did not work well for me because I only watch the movies and series on my TV. It also required Google Pay, which I don't use. I currently use Viki, Netflix, Prime and now started KissAsian (thanks!). I was using iQiyi's Kiwi on YouTube but after its latest blunders I cancelled it. Any other good streaming platform?

Thanks! However, I don't think it's an YouTube problem, since several other channels that offer content there (for free) are not having this issue. It's only iQiyi and that specific series (Destined) despite other series in iQiyi have been facing issues on how they are being released. despite iQiyi charges users to watch them. YouTube is convenient for me because I like to watch the content on my TV, not my computer. Therefore, I am cancelling my Kiwi subscription there and will not pay iQiyi again for something I have been doing. What makes it worse there is that despite several subscribers' complaints no one gives any explanation.

Found it, thanks! I'm cancelling my Kiwi subscription @ iQiyi. It's ridiculous that they charge for that lousy service what others offer much better for free.

Thanks! But it's not 39 and 40. It's 37 and 38 in IQiyi's Youtube channel. Several other Kiwi subscribers are having the same issue and cannot see those two episodes. I tried with Brave and Firefox, neither work. Searching for them also does not help. and no one there replies to the posts about it.
Does anyone know what's happening at iQiyi? They released the series but skipped two episodes. Depite several viewers' complaints they ignored and simply ended it without the two episodes without any explanation. Is there any issue with this series or iQiyi? It's very weird.
Cool short series. Despite short, had everything right: direction, acting and production in general. Great lighthearted and humorous story and very good chemistry between the ML and FL. The writer even managed to insert a few plot twists in the story. Excellent job.
Cool short series. Lighthearted and fun to watch. It's interesting how many of these short series have been released. Some are really bad and have a budget barely sufficient to film them. However, others like this one are hidden gems.
Anyone knows what's going on with the iQiyi channel on YouTube? It suddenly became a mess and this series started to skip episodes. Other series such as Destined also started skipping episodes. It's like whoever is managing that channel does not have any idea of how to do it.

Anyway. I found the series on YouTube and sometimes I question myself about why I am paying for Viki Plus.
