Nice series. Good story, even though it made the good characters too good, almost perfect, and the flawed and bad ones too flawed and too bad. However, the actors' chemistry and their performance made this story pleasant to watch, backed by a great production and soundtrack. I'll likely watch again in the future.
Thinking not to work tonight just to watch these 4 episodes but it’s gonna be a struggle to find if it doesn’t…
Viki did a good job with the pace of Legend of Shen Li. My guess is that it depends on the translation team. Some a very good and others are lame. Hopefully JOL2 gets a good team.
It seems that Fan Xian's mother was killed by the emperor because he perceived her fortune and power through the stores and knowledge a threat to him. Curious to see how it goes when Fan Xian finds out.
Big waste of a nice story concept. Very bad acting and screenwriting made watching this series almost unbearable. It was very painful watching that actor playing the bad prince. Luckily it was a short series.
Some stories are awesome, others are more like a "rinse and repeat" and this was one of the latter. Very good production, acting all over the place and some nice songs. However, like several other dramas, this one spends a lot of time (too many recaps) and even drag until very close to end, when things get rushed and pop-up out of nowhere. Neverthless, a nice series to watch.
Are there two versions of it? It appears that they added three episodes together to make one in this new release. However, some scenes are different and some stuff was added and other removed. Very confusing.
I just finished episode two and the series' description looks off. The coroner FL did not die, JJY exchanged faces with her, or is there more coming up?
Awesome series with a brilliant cast. I was never disapointed by any drama with Yang Zi. This one has everything from fun to sad moments that the writers portraied very well and the actors masterly enacted. Some of the music in the soundtrack complemented the scenes giving them a warm touch. Definitely worth to watch.
Great series. The first few episodes were a bit hard to watch because of the stories being heavily on suicides and the anguish involved. However, it lightened up quite a bit later and there were very funny moments. I was stunned by the number of people who commit suicide in South Korea and can understand why they are likely doing everything they can to address this sad issue. This brought a plot hole in this series. With so many cases and the creation of the RM to help reducing the number of people dying of suicide, the number of people they helped and the team size seemed very disproportionate. They definitely need an army to address the problem. The story was beautiful and had some very nice moments strenghtened by great acting. Really worth the watch.
Romance isn't the main topic of this series, even though there are a few scenes. As far as a "happy ending", it's difficult to tell. The ending was surely intriguing. This series is definitely worth watching.
so she was in denial the whole time and never wanted the cheating to be revealed, damn.
I am confused by the ending also. She clearly was refusing to see all the evidence of her husband cheating on her. So, in the end, did she finally wake up and really killed him or that was just a prop with the fake knife?
Awesome series! A mix of roller coaster with plot twists. When things were starting to slow down something new…
One thing wasn't very clear in the end. Did she finally recognize that her husband was cheating on her and really killed him, or that was just another prop with the fake knife? Another option that came to mind is that the detective who told her about her husband cheating just used her as a borrowed knife to kill her husband since he was hired to do it and that gang failed. Very intriguing multiple-choice ending.
Awesome series! A mix of roller coaster with plot twists. When things were starting to slow down something new would come up and twist the whole plot. The story and acting were great, as well as the general production. Cho Yeo Jung was perfect as a psycho writer. I became her fan on this series.
It is a nice series. Overall story, cinematography, production, acting are very nice. I felt that some of the music was reused from Princess Agents, but may be mistaken. Watched too many series. However, the production used and abused the fillers and flashbacks. No wonder Xi Jinping told the Chinese movie industry to slow down on that. 😛
To be frank, he didn't seem to be the star of this version of the story. It kind of seemed like the story of every…
Indeed. It seems Toranaga coming up with the plan to use the British ship's guns and cannons was mostly a diversion for his actual plan, which was ruthless. It will be interesting to see how a season 2 plays off if there's one. It was a good season 1, so I hope there's a second one.
However, it also has another one that has longer episodes (it's still releasing this one's episodes). https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHal96yJvQA_jcN4u1RrdpMQGdnfMImW6
