I love heeeeer! Hope to see Kimmy being given various scripts. She’s a great actress (and I know for sure, a versatile one at that) but her portfolio kinda lacks the versatility. They seem to love giving her the bitchy type of lead (but then it’s prolly because she’s effective each time).
So Hu Jia and Bei Tang Yi are just the same person? Haven’t really watched Oh My Emperor but I remember seeing its trailer. Explains why he looked familiar as Hu Jia. Lol.
Love the fighting scenes and boy, the comedic timing here is splendid for me. I loved the bond of Flame Group. Also, particularly loved the scenes with the Ice King — what a supportive and funny father. Haha. My favorite characters ought to be Yao Chen and Academy Master Me. Re:ML — perhaps it’s just me but I like him as Yan Xiao better like idk. Haha. I also didn’t expect that the bgm, especially the outro, would grow on me like lit I’m reminded of Mulan’s expedition whenever I hear it. Lol. Overall, a nice xianxia.
I’ve been actually waiting for this series since forever. Until now, I feel like I’m still in a dream state. Like how is it possible that Vengo and Reba got to reprise their role? Can you imagine how I reacted when it was finally confirmed they get to act out the original PB? How awesome was that? I was such a happy girl the moment I knew I ain’t merely wistful thinking. I recount literally squealing and muttering, “Shut up! For real? No way!” Lol. Thinking about it, am I too weird that I did that? Hahaha. So yeah, basically excited beyond measure. Lol. Hoping it lives up to the expectation though. But okay, let’s be real here... I am not saying I’m gonna love this no matter but yeah, I’m gonna love this series no matter what because DongFeng has such a special place in my heart. Hahaha. Spazzing. Rambling. Lol-ing. Lol thanks for posting this ❤️
It’s great that she got a lot of better leads (scripts) after becoming a freelance actress. I used to find her acting awkward but I’m pretty sure she improved vastly. Great decision leaving Ch7 and her old crew (I feel like she was too overshadowed by Mai before; but can’t blame their manager or something as Mai had been an excellent figure through and through)
Did MITH change their format? Like is it going to be only one episode per master? I hope not because I like how they build their relationship with their masters more in an almost two-day period.
only one person has rated it so this is not the rating of the show, but the rating of that one person loland yes,…
Oh yes, you’re right! Silly me! Haha. Although it’s weird like I wonder why MDL isn’t getting the average of ratings from the users. I, myself, have already rated this show. Or am I not a user? Haha.
I loved her as Pawinee. I rewatched Leh Ratree as I remembered loving her character. Hoping to see more Gypsy starring as lead. She has such an exotic beauty for me. Redundant but yeah, I love her.
He was indeed incestuously hitting on her. His actual plan was to actually make her fall in love with him. And I guess his motive was to abuse her emotionally when she’s too head over heels for him by telling that their siblings. I’m guessing Nakarin is picturing May going gaga over him like how Lookkaew was with him. I think his initial plan was to hurt them the way he felt in that sense. Thinking about it, wouldn’t it be a perfect thing for him to see his father and sister stricken to find out he and May have an incestuous relationship? And you know how people are when it comes to love as it is depicted in lakorns. I feel like he’s imagining May committing a suicide after finding out the truth when she has fallen in love with him. Then, voila... he’s gonna see his dad’s sorrow. Sorta like a domino effect. But then, our KADETHAEN happened. He got into the picture. Nakarin’s plan was ruined so he resorted to another method which was to directly hurt them.
His initial plan though. That’s sick of him. Lol. And that’s why I just can’t seem to appreciate the closure we had for his character. I feel like he should’ve been imprisoned for a few years honestly. Because his switch from bad to good happened swiftly that it felt like a wtf moment. Lol. Thinking about it though, he wasn’t someone who is considered a killer, technically, because he had not killed anyone. And his goons that were killed (e.g. Danai) actually died because of their choices themselves. Danai, for one, chose to have a shootout with the police, instead of surrendering. But yeah, whatever! Lol.
Omg! Same, I skipped A LOT of scenes. Lol. And the 8.5 was mainly because of our pair. Like seeing the two made me want to giggle. They’re THAT cute. Lol.
I honestly don’t see myself rewatching this series but who knows, maybe I’ll miss May and Kade in the future. Lol.
This was my first Pooklook lakorn and damn, the girl knows how to act. I felt her pain on episode 15. She delivered that state of being emotionally tired so well. Wow!
Yes, but not just that! Even the case of Ruth’s mother is beyond crazy. She is literally a walking dirt in the society. Lol.
Also, Ruth and Pin were nutcases themselves. I did not like them that much. Pin was crazy herself but I do understand why she loathed Ruth’s mother. Lol. His mother cannot apprehend well. But what annoyed me most was when they both didn’t speak up when the gossip about the paternity of Pin’s child came out, especially Pin who had the oppurtunity to clarify it herself. So yeah... both of their characters are selfish. And Ruth was just plain irresponsible in my opinion. Lol.
Btw, I just finished this. Glad to see Kade and May’s relationship having trust all through out the series. I love how the story line wasn’t that much dragging. Didn’t like how fast Bon and Wachanat switched from bad to good though. Haha. But then, I just had to remind myself that family and forgiveness are what they’re trying to emphasize there.
Liking this so far! Mik and Pooklook’s chemistry is off the charts lol I’m literally spazzing just by seeing them together. And they’re honestly enough to keep me watching. It’s also kinda fresh to see that the leads here don’t have that much misunderstandings. I mean, lakorns usually love having that element. Smh. Lol. But yeah... I’m happy to see a healthy relationship in a lakorn once in a while. I’m hoping that continues until the end though. Haha.
And did I mention the craziness I’m witnessing here? The madness of the other characters in this lakorn though. Lol. Predictable storyline, yes! But so far, the craziness of the characters here is surpassing the typical craziness in the lakorn land. Lol.
P.S. I don’t know why the rating is merely 7.5.
