Objectively, the whole storyline was subpar at best: plot holes, nonsensical plot twists, and countless filler scenes. But, oh boy, entertaining it was. My sister and I created our personal bingo sheets (white underwear makes another appearance? Check!) Haven't had this much fun with a show in a while.
The last episode pretty much left me stranded (pun intended). No resolve or explanation; only hope for a second season that will never be made due to the unfortunate demise of the main lead. This could have been a promising show but, due to the lack of a proper ending, I now feel like I've wasted my time.

The special episode was fine (the one formally known as 'episode 0') but the rest is really not worth it imo. Boring plot, nonsensical dialogue, and aggravating characters. The only reason people are still watching that show is because it has quite a few explicit romantic scenes. I get it, sometimes you just wanna watch trash and enjoy it for the that mess it is--I too have hate-watched CutiePie up till episode 8 or so-- but Check Out was just tiring.

I wouldn't recommend Check Out anyway, huhu. That show is a trainwreck. Triage has spoilt us so much that I have even less tolerance for badly written plots than before. π

I don't know whether I agree with the "it would have been better if they were together from the onset" comment. Easier for the screenwriters? Most definitely. But better? I think the audience would prefer seeing their relationship gradually develop into a romantic one. What is so special about this particular loop that they got together? What had stopped them in the previous loops? I thought that they were teasing the 'don't date your coworker' rule but that was clearly not the case since both of them seem to have no issues being out in the open at all. It wasn't as if a single scene of Sing or Gap confessing their feelings would have halted the plot (and a scene like that could have shed light on the reason why Sing had been so cold as well). To me, this just seems to be a way for the scriptwriters to resolve this storyline by giving them a happy ending.
can't believe they didn't show us our resident tsundere sing falling for our confident gay gap in real time
Honestly that's one of the things that I would have loved to see. They were constantly alluding to them having a romantic connection (my sister and I were constantly speculating whether they were exes or whether they were just crushing on each other-- and that lack of clarity is what made their interaction such fun). And now, in this loop, they are suddenly boyfriends. Where was the build-up? What was their backstory? I'm blaming the hurried pacing for this. They needed to wrap up all the storylines and decided that there was not enough time for the love line of supporting cast. π
I initially dropped this because of the sheer absurdity of the plot but now I'm seriously considering picking it up again because I enjoy reading the hate comments so much π
Was it good yes.. was is better than Manner of Death ? to be honest no it falls just short but I'm tethering between…
Based on acting alone, I personally find Triage far superior. MoD wasn't bad (I think it was the first ever non-university themed BL I watched and I ate it right up) but, objectively, the acting was too stiff and exaggerated. Most of the Triage actors do a great job at embodying their characters in a realistic way (I refuse to speak of Dr. Sak's soap opera antics lol). However, for me, the eventual rating of this show will greatly depend on the way they will wrap up all these different storylines. MoD's tension kinda fizzled out in the last few episodes and I'm hoping that won't happen with this show.
If you wanna see a movie with limited dialogue, a sad soundtrack, and even sadder characters: you'll love this. If you want a sensible plot without plot holes and decent acting: look elsewhere.
My biggest problem with the new loop is that nothing really matters. All that's necessary is for Tol to win Tin…
I hear you but, usually, people don't decide to commit suicide on a whim. For Rit it seemed like the school project was the final straw in his already challenging life: he is the sole son of his single mom, he got his kidney stolen, and he finds himself on the lower end of the social ladder (as a farmer's kid) in a society that is heavily stratified and class-conscious. The guy is depressed. Him getting expelled was not the sole reason for him to want to end his life-- it was all those challenges combined. Not getting expelled would not just simply solve everything. In real life, one's depression hardly ever just disappears just because you remove a challenge.
Lemme know if anyone wants the last episode without subs!
