YES THIS^ The way Alys is always feeling upset or conflicted about their relationship, but gets easily reassured by small "moments" or even just something Drake says to her (and it's usually not even the most thoughtful or nicest response). Their relationship dynamic just seems super out of balance

“Where he goes, what he does, it’s all his choice.” - Xiao Jue (referring to He Yan) AWWWWW 😭 <3333 I love that he’s always reminding her that she’s her own self, with her own identity and choices. Like when she dressed in feminine clothing and he kept reminding her that she really was a woman so that she didn’t need to feel like she was pretending to be one after all these years of pretending to be someone else.

I forgot there would only be one episode today 😭 I was watching expecting to watch the next right after. Either way, today’s episode was so epic. There were so many awaited and iconic scenes in this episode. It’s understandable why they aired this one individually.

LIVING FOR TODAY’S EPISODES!! I’m really glad they didn’t include a typical feeling-betrayed arch for her group of friends. Them being chill about her identity, keeping her secret, and continuing to treat her as they always do is so awesome. I also love He Yan for always standing her ground and sticking up for women. I know that commander guy is one of her buddies, but the way he treats women is terrible. She clearly sees that and is putting him in is place for it- I hope he doesn’t continue this or cause conflict for it. ALSO- AAA XIAO JUE FINALLY RECEIVED THE EMBROIDERED POUCH <3 I can’t wait for that one related scene to appear soon.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot too. They say Hu Rufei was characterized as short when it was her, but when swapped, it wasn’t noticed by anyone 😭

The serious and heaviness of these episodes, as of now, are really well progressing. The fight scene and training scene are so good too. I get so excited whenever ones like those happen in this drama. I love it. Also love that Xiao Jue is seemingly finally opening up a bit even though he’s still slightly on guard because of the whole HRF issue. / There are huge moments building up so far, and I’m so anxious about it, even though I know (generally) what’s coming. I can’t wait though!!

FR I know the title is “SEDUCING Drake Palma” and the whole thing is basically Alys trying to make him fall for her, but hearing him explain that he doesn’t harbor the same feelings for her, then is “almost there”, and then “I’m falling,” all while actively being in a relationship with her is crazy. 😭 And the addition of the character Shaira is making it all so much worse. IMO Tripp seems like a way better fit for her rn.

No way Drake is that chill with Shaira doing all that with or without Alys around- huge red flags once again 😭 There’s at least some sort of development in progress for his character, but it’s a struggle to see Alys deal with it

Oh my GOODNESS. There is so much going on in today’s episodes. There were many scenes and quotes that were notable, especially with some symbolism and lots of foreshadowing. We’re also finally seeing more into the complexities of He Yan’s past as well as Xiao Jue’s. So far, I’ve been able to watch completely absorbed into it. The suspense always has me wanting to watch more. I wonder what the next episodes will uncover!
