Quality as in writing? not sure how to compare both because they're very different shows 🥲, But i adore wtpr because it's romance done well and on the more serious side, they don't need multiple secondary characters that take up the whole screen time, and fluffy music s they gave into each other's eyes, we focus more on the leads. A lot of time writers try to feed us these tropes which we like but they never get it right (like possessive male lead trope) but they just get weird and goofy but wtpr does it just right imo. I also appreciate that the ML draws a fine line and doesn't fall into being controlling, imo he's not even a red flag he's just very direct and has a calm demeanor which makes him more attractive. I love the chemistry between then as well! usually when people ship co-stars in a show i'm like let's warp this up it's just a show but i want them to get together in this one 😅. There's also a bunch of plot twists and the story keeps you engaged, i never skip scenes which is rare. I hope you give it a try! I also think you should keep your expectations at an okay level, this is just romance done right with some thriller not a show that promises us something insane that was never mentioned if you get what i mean. My best show this year and i hope people give the actors alot of love!

IKR! I NEED HIM TO GET THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES, He doesn't even have a blue tick on instagram. What's so confusing is he's so fine and manly and a good actor so why isn't he as popular?!!!!!

You're going to miss out if you do! there's so much to unpack between them the more you learn about them imo. I thought the same but it get's better! Su Zai Zai at first seemed annoying but i find her very special with a big heart now. Currently rewatching as a write this. The Friendship and dialogue in this show is so moving! the music too! But then it might not be for you it really depends. But i think you should give it a chance as i did because of the high rating and give us an update please!

The vibes are so good already, I love the music and cinematography, it gives off a more warm/relaxed vibe rather than the fun upbeat shows I'm used too! I was worried I wouldn't like Shen Yue's character because I don't like FL's that do too much, but I really enjoy Gu Yi, she's still bright and sunshiny but not in an annoying way. Love their dynamics. Initially I thought Liang Dai Wen would be very mean to her and she would just take it, that type of show but he's just very direct but still sweet and caring. I LOVE THEM
