The brief scene with Gwang Nam in the taekwondo studio was really sad but very realistic. The boss was all about…
yes some people are ok with different sexual orientations but only on the paper. the moment it becomes real you see their face changing. I can understand this kind of reactions when you don't know the person, and suddenly he talks about his liking, and you feel like he is targeting you (even if it's not true). it's sad, but understandable.
but, it's not even like they didn't know him before. it's not like they were feeling uncomfortable around him before. they knew him so well and knew he was a good person. but at the end...
may this drama open the eyes of people...
I dont even like the idea of gay people having to "come out". WHY? it's their privacy. I have never talked about my sexuality to my family. like, in the middle of lunch on family gathering, me standing up all of a sudden and: "mom, dad, I think I have to tell you that I am strait. sorry dad, sorry mom!"
I mean, equality is when you do the same things as others, and nobody expects anything more from you than from others. so WHY ON EARTH should gay persons do their coming out?
this is the first time I completely understand the drunken character in a drama who wants to forget EVERYTHING about the drinking night ! I have seen it so many times! and every time I was like: really? you want to die because of that? but today... yeah! I get it, SEun! you shouldn't have slept, even a tiny bit, or you should have taken 1 more bottle of shoju before! I totally get you, noona!
I feel like, if there is a force bigger than we are, then perhaps SEun went into this business just for HaeJin's sake. because at that moment I felt like everything fell into place. she can achieve revenge for herself and for madame Yoo (because let's be honest, she is her mother in her heart), HaeJin can protect his mother, escape from his fate and seek revenge as well...
and most of all: I had goosebumps when I realized this twist of fate: she made the most awful fuss because she didn't want to marry into Kang family, and here she is!
it's almost like she was just being prepared, warmed up and exercising, before the real deal begins! I even wonder if she didn't cross path with Jiho just in order to gain his help and achieve her last and most important mission.
Why can't Choi Sang Eun remember Jung Ji Ho when he was the judge at almost all her divorces?!
because she didn't pay attention. she just did this for money and never cared about the persons around her. I also think the robe has a big impact on forgetting the faces. when you meet someone wearing a job costume, and then meet him/her out of context in every day clothes, it's difficult to remember who the person is. you may recall the face like "I know that person", but who she/he is and the circumstances of your encounter will be blurred. it happened to me so many times that I can completely relate to her experience.
opposite experience here, I find english very good in k dramas most of the time. unlike j dramas and anime.....
not only k people but also western people playing in k-dramas are sometimes concerned as well... very weird. but here I am commenting this drama specifically. not a big deal though...
And how long can she hide her face as 2ml's wife cuz if she becomes a known face, 1ml's colleagues won't be fooled…
I don't like that kind of scenario, but k-drama's writers seem to love it. there is so much dramas where the character change clothes (wigs) endless times the same night to lure people into the illusion of seeing 2 different persons.
And how long can she hide her face as 2ml's wife cuz if she becomes a known face, 1ml's colleagues won't be fooled…
when reading your comment I had this strange idea that... actually you don't care, as long as she enters the building alone (without holding someone's hand or being obviously with someone) everybody will assume she is going to meet the person ones believe she is supposed to live with... because they both live in the same building, and they live there alone, so...
perfect crime!
if it's ML's colleagues they will think she is going to his apartment, if it's journalists, they will think she is going to SL's apartment.
I liked the SL character in "bride of the water god". he is way better than the MML. way better!I also liked the…
JiPyeong made DoSan lie for him. as he wasn't in love with her at this time, he didn't care if someone else showed up claiming being him. then he fell in love with her but it was too late. so he sowed what he reaped.
for me DoSan did nothing wrong, because he fell in love with her at first sight. he was already caught up in JiPyeong’s lies...
that's why i wrote: the money is the only shared "blood" between her and her daughter. she adopted and raised her, she is her mother. and even if she don't want to be seen as SEun's mother, the FL does behave as she is her daughter. so, for me everything is settled.
Damn i watched this when I was like 13/14 and rated this a 10 😭 I come back to the comments and see all these…
never second guess yourself because of others. especially about art, communication and feelings. you are you, and they are them, you do you. it's very ok to adore something everybody else hate.
but, it's not even like they didn't know him before. it's not like they were feeling uncomfortable around him before. they knew him so well and knew he was a good person. but at the end...

me: collapse on the couch...
I really loved the big deal with the tiny car. every time I saw her driving it I laughed!
