the most interesting thing about hyunjae is that he is the one who wanted nothing to do with his family, he felt annoyed living with them and even allowing them to get into his own house, but, he is the most loving and protective family member and the only one to be deeply involved in the 2 entangled families. isn't that an amazing person?
I understand her point of view. all surgeries are risky. he is perfectly healthy and he could simply die while…
it's easy to blame the writer every time something doesn't please you in the drama. I don't think that's strange at all. in the contrary, that makes total sens.
so that's how you negotiate with narrow minded persons: they say no, and you push forward no matter what while continuously telling them why they are wrong. good lesson, thanks hyunj! how much courage that means when he is already dealing with the fear of an up coming major surgery...!
Everyone in the family is irritating me to no end atm. What is the big deal with donating part of his liver. The…
I understand her point of view. all surgeries are risky. he is perfectly healthy and he could simply die while helping someone else (and she doesn't really like soojung, let's be honest here).
what she said was "why hyunjae of all people?", and that means a lot. => she is not going to put her BETTER son at risk for anybody.
I understood at that moment that hyunjae is the favorite son for his father AND his mother.
the 3 of them showed affection to a different child, and she is supposed to prefer soojae, but here we discover who she really love the most. it must has been heart wrenching for the 2 parents when he decided to move out...
but I agree with you, hyunjae wants to protect his family, he deserves being supported. especially for an organ donation.
Coming back a couple of months later and I realize that while I believe I enjoyed the drama (based on my review…
it's understandable, the story is full of cliches, so of course as time pass by you'll find yourself mistaking some plot lines with other rom-com stories. but, a drama's value is in the fun you experience while watching it, and not in its long term's impression.
there are unforgettable dramas, and when I come across one, I clearly mention it in my review. because it is something different.
and that's how selfish haej is... I am quite sure that if the situation was reversed, she would have pestered either her own family and her in-laws to save her own mother. hyungj is really the kind of person I want in my life.
I came across ep 10 by accident, and the first scene is about mirae confessing her love to hyung jae... god, she is brave! it's huge to open up to someone who is obviously not thrilled to be with you. that made me remember why I love her so much!
this being said, I can't find ep 49 anywhere. is it normal?
Can someone give me a plot line/ summary?? The one on here is so bad and the one on Netflix gives me nothing
you have a lot of reviews just above...
hari and yeongseo are best friends since school. but, if yeongseo is a chaebol (a rich heir), hari's parents run a fried chicken restaurant and have a lot of debts. she works in a big corporate as food researcher and support her parents. one day yeongseo ask hari to go to a blind date in her name and do whatever is needed to push the pretender away... the problem is, the so called pretender has already decided to marry whoever will show up at his first blind date.
and above all, their story is the main story of this drama. She who loses her father is the reason why both families…
I agree with you, the writer broke something in the drama's dynamic on ep 37. that was odd, uncomfortable, unfair and that just broke the story. I can't put my finger on what/why that is...
hi jenaisnotdyinganymo,I laughed so hard! thanks for your review. I didn't read the whole of it yet, will do after…
lol his armpits are not so hairy! you are ruining my drama! my god, I laugh so much! (ep 10, 32 min) I must say I don't like shaved men, but I don't appreciate when it's too much like toooo much. he is a little less hairy than normal (western people's normal). it's cute!
hi jenaisnotdyinganymo, I laughed so hard! thanks for your review. I didn't read the whole of it yet, will do after I finish the drama (not sure about spoilers). I am currently on ep 10 and read some review as always because I was feeling uncomfortable with some things and wanted confirmations. so you made my day. my intellectual-me dropped the drama at this moment and now everything just seems to be a huge joke. it has then become very light and enjoyable. I think I was way too serious to appreciate this masterpiece (joking, don't hit me!). will come back for some more after watching.
hi everybody! I am very happy I shared this drama watching with you. it was my first time and I'll definitely do it again. thanks for your sharing, it will be a fond memory! I write this in advance because I am not sure everybody will read comments after last episodes' airing. so, thank you! that was fun!
