the thing is, couvade syndrome really happens sometimes. some men really get morning sickness, not instead of their wife like it is often said, but at the same time. it's a psychological response when the father is completely engaged in the pregnancy.
korean people see it like something romantic but that's a mental issue, same as false pregnancy in women.

I really don't like the first son's couple, but this one is not something I can criticize because it really can happen to anyone.

haej has always been like that. you just didn't notice. she shows multiple signs of narcissism from the very beginning. re-watch the show and you'll see it clearly now that you noticed it.

everybody is responsible about his/her own health. if sooj is ill, it's because sooj messed up. period.
a baby is responsible of nothing before being born. and his life has the same value as anyone else's life no matter the age (in my opinion, as long as the mother wanted the baby).
as the mother, mirae is responsible of protecting the baby. as the father, hjae is responsible of protecting the baby. it's their duty.

even if emotional mirae can be manipulated to give up on the baby, hjae will NEVER do that. this is absolutely not in this character's state of mind.

as sooj herself said in the last episode, hjae only look after his home way before looking after his family. and she said it was very good for mirae that her husband wants to protect their home before the extended family.

hjae will blow the city in flames before someone kills his baby. family or not.

I don't know if medical law is the same in korea, but in france you cannot give any of your organ at a family member without the receiver's agreement. the doctor will seek the receiver's agreement before taking out any organ on his/her family member. so if the mother say no, mirae wont be able to do anything. that's why I only focused on sooj's agreement.

I don't think mirae's mother will agree to sacrifice the life of her own grand child in order to stay alive. she has found her family, there also are the annoying great aunt's children who can match with her.

I have to say something though: they really suck in English!
I mean, I don’t really speak either, I have to check on Google Translate every time I post something, speaking English doesn’t come to me naturally, but, if I had to learn a few lines and repeat them, I can manage to look like someone who actually speaks English. But K people do have problems with that language...

in moment like this, I can't help but think that it would have been so much better if sooj made the first health control with her husband in the beginning of the drama. the cancer would have been smaller. so many adopted children do that mistake, it breaks my heart!

yes she is boomer. because of her, pregnant hjae and mirae were worried instead of being thrilled. because of her, the 2 pregnancies announcement went wrong. she is a boomer.

that's exactly what I talk about. in the rush she is lively, in the cut results she is not: the only reason is that they cut it this way.

I loved that sjae don't take advantage on jhoo about being yuna's ex-boyfriend. he seems to have matured a lot.

so, the 2 pregnancies are 5 weeks long... which means that kae didn't make any conception dream about mirae's pregnancy. that's sad... in the case the 1st conception dream was mirae's one, she might have twins (it was 2 peaches).

I love the character but the actress doesn't suit it. I am not sure she doesn't act well because of a youtube's video shared last week... I think that the director or the montage make wrong call. I nearly think now that this is made on purpose because it is too big to be random or a mistake.

they had so many wonderful images of mirae laughing and smiling widely. hyunmi obviously enjoyed each other and the chemistry was there.

that's not the first time I notice it, but k people have the weirdest way to end their phone call. sometimes they actually say "I cut now", but most of time they just hang up. if I was on the other end of the call I would have been sooo surprised!

I am watching it now (ep 10) and was a little upset about some things which is why I decided to read some more reviews now (yes I am the odd kind). for the cheese part, I don't agree because for me being cheesy like you say is just being honest: and I don't appreciate people who lie or hide their feelings (like she does) even if I understand that our society teaches us this.

he is just honest and that makes absolutely sens: his job is to be in danger, he can die anytime, he cannot afford the ultimate lux to lie to the ones he loves. he has literally no time for that. for me, they don't fight so much and she doesn't run so much, because she is just normal. she is not cheesy, she thinks she has all the time of the universe to date, fall in love and marry. this difference is the reason why they seem to be fighting all the time, and why she seems to run away.

I love their love story, but I agree on the lack of script: they just go from places to places, bumping into events and accidents. like randomly. that's what made me upset and I now know that this wont change... so let be it...
