I loved how hjae simply proposed to be the donor. I really like this character.
I don't understand why the whole family didn't get tested after finding the truth. there is nothing to wait for, the grand-pa is right.
this is a sad drama again, and I find that very disappointing. I want my happy ending so badly!

sjae and yuna seems to be on tracks, so there is really no need for more than 1 episode to bring closure to this story.

I think that the 2 last episodes will be on solving sooj's illness.
I know nothing about this disease, but if the transplant is the solution, I think that will be the opportunity for the 2 families to behave like one. like one unique family. I think it's interesting to witness who will be the donor and how the relationships will change.

this being said, I also found a lot annoying things about this show, and that this could have been so much better if the writer did a better job.

haej is the only one fighting for the first place, here. haej fights all the time. she is always competing with everybody in an unhealthy way.

the video ends with mirae saying "I love you" (sarangay) to the camera. so I answered "me too, I love you, mirae!"

I get it, but dramas aren't real life. my point of view is "as long as it is possible, I let it pass." because I watch dramas for unlikely and weird things to watch. otherwise I could just visit my neighbors...

and above all, their story is the main story of this drama. She who loses her father is the reason why both families exist in the first place. Nothing would have existed if those two hadn’t gotten lost and reunited.

the thing is, couvade syndrome really happens sometimes. some men really get morning sickness, not instead of their wife like it is often said, but at the same time. it's a psychological response when the father is completely engaged in the pregnancy.
korean people see it like something romantic but that's a mental issue, same as false pregnancy in women.

I really don't like the first son's couple, but this one is not something I can criticize because it really can happen to anyone.

so old daddy will not be able to give his liver to sooj neither. I am very sad for mirae too because she don't know what is happening and she will keep asking things to her mom and hurt her...

the parents give medicine to their son having couvade syndrome, and she wants to drink it too...

BUT I am so happy she cornered kae with the babysitting thing. this is clearly a narcissist's move, but kae deserved that so much!

so now let's see if mirae's baby will be a warrior and hang in there. this shabby grand-ma just threw everybody's efforts away again!

I really loved protective hjae! isn't he cute when he takes care of mirae?

you are right. that's the comparison between the 2 couples, being in the same situation, and acting soooo differently that hurt the most. you have no choice but recognize that haej is a bad person.

haej has always been like that. you just didn't notice. she shows multiple signs of narcissism from the very beginning. re-watch the show and you'll see it clearly now that you noticed it.

every time I said she was being narcissistic I was told that "she is just more assertive because she is a self-made woman"... yeah you wish.

I don't agree with you.
everybody is responsible about his/her own health. if sooj is ill, it's because sooj messed up. period.
a baby is responsible of nothing before being born. and his life has the same value as anyone else's life no matter the age (in my opinion, as long as the mother wanted the baby).
as the mother, mirae is responsible of protecting the baby. as the father, hjae is responsible of protecting the baby. it's their duty.

even if emotional mirae can be manipulated to give up on the baby, hjae will NEVER do that. this is absolutely not in this character's state of mind.
so this will never happen.

as sooj herself said in the last episode, hjae only look after his home way before looking after his family. and she said it was very good for mirae that her husband wants to protect their home before the extended family.

hjae will blow the city in flames before someone kills his baby. family or not.

I don't know if medical law is the same in korea, but in france you cannot give any of your organ at a family member without the receiver's agreement. the doctor will seek the receiver's agreement before taking out any organ on his/her family member. so if the mother say no, mirae wont be able to do anything. that's why I only focused on sooj's agreement.

I don't think mirae's mother will agree to sacrifice the life of her own grand child in order to stay alive. she has found her family, there also are the annoying great aunt's children who can match with her.
