I don't know why the king didn't act more heartbroken when he heard the news of her deathI know he is used to…
He broke down for awhile, but realized he couldn't linger and fall apart again, because that's what they wanted him to do. He was heartbroken - but was channeling it into finding the people who killed her.
Afaik it is a joke and the armpit hair fake. They just did it for shit and giggles like blurring out poop when…
I was confused too but -someone said there was a running joke IRL that his friends keep making fun of him for being hairy, so I think it might have been an extension of the joke, lol.
So Ra is a little crazy (but totally fitting into the characters Seo Hye Won has played, lol), but maybe she is what he needs. I'm assuming that's his ex (the one he mentioned in the first episode) harassing him for money?
That hae Young had to be a bitch like that I guess creators ran out of stuff so created some drama rn finished…
She's just mad she can't use Sang Shik anymore. (I'm glad, lol). Although her complaining about them not paying attention to her was kind of justice, lol.
Now that Ji Ho knows a little about her past, it seems like he's already decided to protect her (also that it seems like he never sent the divorce papers in). But, damn the way he treats Sang Eun. No wonder she likes him, because unlike anyone else (expect Gwang Nam of course) he puts her first. Sure he's still human and gets jealous, but has never told her to quit her job, pays attention to the little details, apologizes and worries more about him being an embarrassment to her and not the other way around when she was around his work colleques.
Hae Jin needs to get himself away from his family asap and get professional help. He is drowning and dragging everyone down with him.
Ji Ho's ex wife and Mdm Yoo are two of the most selfish people. The ex wife still thinks he has feeling for him (the only thing lingering about this relationship is the trauma she left) and is trying to get revenge on her, and Mdm Yoo is so blinded by her greed and ambition, and while yes, I do think she cares about Sang Eun, its not enough to get past her pride.
SFL is high on something 🤣🤣coming back after 5+ years and claiming she has changed and hoping to start again😵💫
She is so full of herself its crazy, but it seems like she was always that way. Plus, I wanted to slap her after she said he had no feelings. He is one of the most loving guys out there.
I would be extremely surprised if they pull that trope here.
Me too. He can't stay away from her, even when she's pissed at him. And she'd kick his ass if he tried some noble idioticy crap. They keep pushing them communicating so it wouldn't make sense.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think Kang Hae Jin actually likes her at this point. I think it's more adoration that he's confused with love. If that's the case - I might give him the benfit of the doubt although he's being super annoying.
Although I'm still holding on to the few breadcrumbs they've set in place for him and Gwang Nam. I feel like theres something with the storylines between the two of them. It's a drama so I know I shouldn't hold on to that too tight. But if I wrote it I'd have the two of them run off too Canada together (after Gwang Nam finds some sort of peace with this family and Hae Jin finally liberating himself from his family).
there is nothing subtle about it. He was clearly homophobic there. Another reason on the already loooong list…
I think they are showing a contrast - because the writing around Gwang Nam has been pretty good. They've created this complicated situation with his family (especially involving his older sisters) that isn't just about him being gay - but his role as the 'first born son' which him being gay hasn't helped. In the first episode his sister blamed him for his niece having a girlfriend and Sang Eun clarified that was wrong, and not scientifically true. When researching their move to Canada she asked someone about the queer parade for him. They even showed him having had a boyfriend stay the night. So the writing around that has been good.
I think even the SML's manager seemed to question why he was so bothered by the rumors, and the agent said it would be a better scandal. So yeah, I'm pretty sure they are putting this in to have some sort of relation to Gwang Nam later, but I'm not sure how yet.
I don't know why she got so upset about what he said...he was only telling her the truth about why things happen…
Yeah it’s just how he talks. Bluntly and factual. I didn’t take it that way at all. She might have just been overly emotional because of what just happened but she hit something that tiggers him.

I should start using this when people try to call me out, lol.
