I felt so bad when she told him it's better when he doesn't talk. That must have hurt a lot.

Honestly the most annoying part of this drama is that freaking Da lady. She attempted to sexually assault him, and because he fought back, she trying to make his life hell? They made a big deal about what happened to his sister, so this better end with her ass in prison. (Probably doesn't help that the fashion industry is full of sexual assault/rape/harassment irl, and was reading something about it which made me more mad).

Him being the only son doesn't help (considering the emphasis on "first born sons"), so he's expected to fill a certain role in his family - also I have a feeling his sisters resent him because of this. I was really worried when I realized where they were going with him that they would fall into some stereotypes but so far I'm pretty happy with how they've written him. I'm also happy they added the bit about his sister blaming him for his niece for maybe having a girlfriend and Sang Eun pointing out that's not scientifically valid.

Him having a loveline would be nice - but I more hope his family (especially his sisters) just accept him for himself.

But I'm really glad they have each other.

Considering how overprotective her grandfather is and how much he worries about her ... I also think it has something to do along the lines of her mom leaving her. (Which we still don't know the full story of. But its sad her mother mostly uses her when she needs her for something, and seems to have a whole another family).

This makes the most sense to me. Naksu soul will be ejected from Mudeok's body and somehow back in her original (which wasn't burned), but Uk won't know that and think she's gone.

He threw a can of peaches at 5 won (nunchucks grandpa) who attacked his mom and they thought he killed him so they covered it up. The guy is still very much alive and still harassing him.

One of my favorite things was how they decided to write Shina. Although her character development isn't as drastic as his, her personality never really changes - you could see her slowly growing in confidence as the drama goes on, but like NGJ (who also didn't change solely because of her), she did it herself. I mean, literally, she decided to achieve her goal completely on her own (without telling anyone or asking for anyones help- not that she couldn't if she needed it), and how to achieve it without looking like she had help from him. I'm surprised drama had her working at another company because it was actually a pretty smart thing for her to do, lol (and most dramas don't do this). Also how she refused to let BSY ruin her relationship (of course it's natural she was jealous at times, but choose to believe and trust him over acting dramatic and throwing fits - that also applied when he didn't tell her everything).

They also trust each other even when the other person isn't telling them everything, especially the FL when it comes to his ex. She's pretty level headed and doesn't act/let jealously get in the way.

Except he'd be trying to scolding their child but it wouldn't be going well in his favor, lol.

In a earlier episode he said a bunch of things to her including telling her to take over Gotop. I wonder too. Is he controlling Secretary Jo at all? Or did Jo have OSG's sister steal those papers for the chairman (I'm convinced he was involved in her death somehow)? Her dad like to buy out companies maybe that school that Jo worked at before was one of those companies. (Is Jo BSY's illegitimate half brother? Could explain why he would work for her dad or why he has some kind of anger about not getting recognized by his father, however I'm not sure how NGJ fits into the former). There is always more questions with this show, lol.

She got the CEO position because of her dad, although she'd never admit to it, which was ironic she was complaining that (in terms of Shina) " hates people who use other peoples power to get what they want." in a earlier episode. Which made zero sense to me, because who's power was Shina using for what? Did BSY built her company from the bottom up without once relying on her father's status or money? I find that completely unlikely.

(Also ironic because Shina is out here building her brand with zero help. Hell, she's not even telling anyone what's she's doing, lol).

Also she said she wasn't going to be like her dad, and here she is trying to destroy NGJ and trying to take over his company. She's acting just like her father.

The only good thing about the drama ending is she'll be gone, lol.

Also I'm glad they haven't had Shina turn into a doormat in love and have done the opposite where she continues to speak her mind even if he's not going to like it.

Just some thoughts:

I'm glad they've allowed NGJ be so flawed. Yes, he wasn't the best human, but he's starting to change. But I'm glad its not just because of the FL like in most dramas. I think that email was a huge wake up call, and he's going to have to do the rest of the work himself.

(But at the same time, no matter how awful a person is. Death threats are never okay).

I'm not counting that voice mail as damning evidence yet - I wonder if there was something else that pushed her over the edge that her brother isn't a aware of. Possibly something to do with Secretary Jo, who DEFINITELY isn't just a quiet secretary as we all well know, and had a reaction when she was brought up.

And I'm sure BSY dad is in play somewhere here.

Speaking of BSY... she doesn't love NGJ. She's obsessed. If she truly loved him her first thought after rejection wouldn't be to destroy him.

I guess I need to catch up on all the other speculation in the comments, lol.

I have sympathy but she still has to be punished.

One of my favorite scenes was when her dad said, "Then I can be a father to you." The only thing he knew about him at that time was he was someone his daughter brought home. Literally just met the guy, didn't know who his family was, what he did for a living, etc. Just decided to accept him because his daughter did. I mean Shina's dad is just awesome in general.

And NGJ doesn't mind a bit, lol. The fact that Shina's family loves him so much makes him happy.

I was going to say three if you count her brother, but it seems like babysitting him is NGJ 's job, lol.
