Na Yeon is so eugghhh. He asks for space so she shows up at his house and 'decorates' (aka places her stuff in his house). They break up and he's hesitant to get married so she proposes? He hardily reacts when she clinging to him and she's just happy with that? (He clearly cares about her but I wouldn't consider that love).
But it's okay... the more she forces this, the more its going to blow up in her face, lol.
i keep thinking back to the groot moment in the episode and i find that single moment spoke volumes to me about…
I was just thinking about that! although in the films when he says “I am Groot” it’s nonsense to the audience but the rest of the Guardians understand him. This scene seemed so random at first but now that I’m thinking about it … it’s really not, lol
Didn't they mention that the SML applied to work at the same company the ML did at some point? I can't remember, but it that is true - he's just after her for the fame/money (aka wants to steal her as a client). He just seems greedy, whereas this chairman guy is dangerous. But if the SML is the chairman it's diff a twist, lol. I don't know but unlike the ML who is the devil we know, he's the devil we don't know, lol.
I'm not sure Sun Woo is the murder, but he is clearly in town for a reason and so far it points to the Congressman. They clearly know each other, and Sun Woo does not like him at all. Ye Bun's grandfather seems to be investigating him (I'm wondering if it has to do with Ye Bun's moms death since he's being so distant), so there is something shady going on with that man.
Not sure when (or if) I'll get back to this. I've been slowly watching Ugly Alert and Lawyer Lee's behavior (literally harassing a woman for most of the 133+ episodes when she told to eff off a hundred times already) is more then enough. I don't need Joon Ha on top of it, lol.
I'm really disappointed how they took his character. (What was the point of his moments of humanity in the past? Or the actor saying you'd like his character at some point). The only way he can redeem himself now sacrifice himself or something.
I don't think that trai and Phang end up together, they are both single at the ending, or i missed something?…
Yeah, they just addressed everything between them and then decided to start over as "strangers" (and put everything behind them). It felt more like they decided to be friends . (This was after Riri suggested he go talk to her). Pang's happy ending was learning to love herself (and to stop being so snobby, lol).
I don't think it was one sided - he was acting kind of weird around Riri in episode 20. She even asked him if he liked her and he didn't really answer her. And then everyone was teasing Riri about how it was suspicious that they were both going to New York and he even asked her if they wanted to go together.
Oh ugh I had a terrible thought (and this might sour me on the show if they do it), what if they make us think…
A drama I watched a few years ago did that and it was pretty annoying. They flashed forwarded a year and made it seem like they hadn’t spoken that whole time but it was just that they got in a little fight and it had only been a week, lol.
I love how everyone instantly assumes she's planning on quitting the hotel and not him, lol. I mean if she was planning on dumping him she would have done it like two episodes ago. And she's proved herself not be a person that bows down under pressure. But she did seem conflicted about going back to Seoul with him so I definitely think she wants to go help out with the resort.
Also, his sister needs to take some time and learn to love herself. What she did last episodes to 'take down' Won not only damaged the hotels image but her fathers as well. That was not good business, that was petty revenge, and did not prove good leadership skills. She's twisted herself to be this bitter person. (That one flash back did not prove to me her father didn't care about her but her convincing herself that he didn't) when he literally let her run that hotel for years and gave her a equal chance to prove herself. She's the one who alienated herself from her family. She needs to take a step back and spend some time with her son.
I want to share this comment I saw on Reddit that describes exactly my sentiments about the latest episode. OP…
I know people have been complaining about a lack of 'plot' but this isn't a mystery drama.. it's social commentary wrapped up in a rom com. And it's why I love it. Her ideas to cut benfits and hire less staff? That didn't go over so well for UPS (one of the US's largest shipping companies) that just nearly avoided a strike. A strike that could have caused a crazy amount of damage (Over $7 billion dollars to the US economy and the millions of companies and people that rely on this company every day). Many of things she was suggesting were things the UPS employees were demanding - one of the biggest was that they were requiring mandatory overtime because they didn't want to hire more workers. This is a company that reported $75 billion dollars in profits. Clearly they have no money to invest in their employees. (epic eye roll). Never mind the bribery. We can't get any laws past because the businesses could lose money. She IS capitalism, and all the reasons people hate it.
Dude, who tells their elementary aged child 'to go back and live their life?' and 'this is an important time, I don't need you to add to it'. He's not a adult. This is the time in life he's supposed be with his family, not shipped off to be forgotten because you care more about being up on top then anyone else feelings.
Like what is wrong with this lady? How is any of this more important than your own child? She didn't even blink when she told him to leave.
Also, I'm not sure how the dad just lets her walk all over him with this attitude.
and speaking hwaran - it baffles me to read so many people now say they prefer for her to get the company??? like…
I'm not sure how his sister has been running the company so far, because her attitude sucks. Like she's the queen and her options are the only ones that matter. She just demands results and refuses to listen to other's suggestions and doesn't offer solutions. (Nevermind her attitude towards employees). When the CEO of my company (I work at a department store) took the job, he decided to visit 100's of stores all over the country during his year to get a idea of how the stores (and he already came from a family that owned several retail chains) run and to meet the people who worked there. I can't imagine his sister even thinking about this, lol.
I had to take some positive associate interactions training for my promotion at work (since I'm now a supervisor), and it literally told me that if I treated my employees the way some of these high management people here do (especially the sister)... I'd be in big trouble, lol. Loyal employees = more loyal customers. (And happy employees make better employees). The friend at the department store is the best example of how one SHOULD act in a management position. (And how I should act.... if I ever get a team, lol).
But someone said before below that the writer has experience in a the service industry which is probably why I relate to the writing around employee relations so well.

Still not sure how I feel about he SFL, but we'll see.
