If you want romantic drama so this drama is not for you. But if you find something like teenagers who are wrong…
Goodness me, yes! If only these viewers bothered to understand what the drama was about (like, say, reading the synopsis maybe?) instead of going “It's boring and there's no romance – DROPPED”! Or even worse, “This drama is about an inappropriate relationship and is disgusting”. I mean, REALLY?
If you want to watch two people whose lives were turned upside down and hurt by some seriously corrupt folk bring down their enemies in a calm, non-violent and totally justifiable manner, I highly recommend this drama :)
i skipped a few of the earlier eps, can someone tell me how is kim ji na noh jung ah's daughter? Like is she adopted…
Noh Jung Ah is divorced or separated. In the episode in which Ji Na first appears, she's at NJA's house and NJA asks Ji Na if she wants to go live with her father. It was implied that they are no longer a couple.
Idk but i felt like Lee Seung Gi is more perfect for the ML. Bcs LJW here is sooo terrifying here, he looks more…
Hell no, LJW is perfect as Hwal. Menacing and cold, yet somewhat humane. He does a good job portraying Hwal's determination to get his soul back at any cost.
That's definitely not going to happen. She considers him a mentor/teacher and nothing else.
No one "shipped" YS and SY when they were teacher and high school student, either. If there were any comments supporting that here on MDL, I certainly missed reading them.
Why was Ye Rin’s Eomma dressed like Barney in green and purple 😂😂 (ep 11).
I like how she wears the most colourful, flamboyant outfits that are guaranteed to attract everyone's attention, and then wears sunglasses to conceal her identity.
this drama really making sure we hate anyone not main leadcheap old trick
The setting for the story creates that situation, though. It's about school corruption and obviously those involved aren't pleasant people who will continue to cover up their crimes, use others and resort to blackmail and bribes etc.
So while there is one dominant villain, others are minions or former co-conspirators/victims who might end up helping the two leads once their conscience kicks in.
I might be the minority but I'm really enjoying this drama. It's really a breath of fresh air for me.
You're not alone, I really like it too. I'm surprised that quite a few people don't seem to understand the story and its characters, or maybe they don't pay attention to the dialogue at all. Quite puzzling.
It's not even a romantic drama anymore it's revenge drama with a lot of very annoying characters
The second sentence of the synopsis literally says “4 years later they meet again, now as adults, to reveal the corruption in school and to regain one's reputation as a teacher. “
This was obviously going to be about exposing the principal's and assemblyman's crimes, so they can move on with their lives. And as the title of the drama clearly indicates, it was always going to be a difficult road for both of the main characters emotionally and mentally. I consider the writing consistent given the plot and overall theme of the drama.
What's with the Lawyer Ajusshi!? He didn't look like he could've been a killer but he smirked after he watched…
I believe his adoptive daughter (the present day Chimera) already planned out SHT's death and left instructions for him to carry it out in case she was caught/died.
Somehow i felt ms.kim was reckless about her brother and really cant believe she is that capable of murders. I…
If a detective's relative is connected to an ongoing investigation, that officer has to be removed from the case. So it appears they are following standard protocol in that regard.
However, since she already has a medical diagnosis, and they are aware of it, then they have a duty to inform her caregiver. So they are in the wrong on this point. I have a feeling this will be explained away through some legal loophole like the statute of limitations has expired or that her "confession" is invalid and/or she can't be charged due to her illness.
After E12, my guess Go Kwang Soo [Head, Special Investigation Team] is the key to connecting the dots
He's an intriguing character, I must say. If you think about it - he has never lied to Jae Hwan about anything and has quietly been supporting him all along.
among the characters, Seoryun chair, Dr Jerome, Eugene, the mom, know about chemistry. Who else? but even if the…
We don't know if the reporter studied chemistry, either. She's in her 30s now - could've easily switched careers at some point. After watching the 12 eps so far, I think both Chimeras are women.
I think there are possibly two sets of siblings here: Lee Joong Yeop may have a younger sibling and Cha Jae Hwan has an older sibling since we know CJW's mother had a daughter before he was born. If CJW is Director Seo's son, then he also has a younger half-sister (who hasn't appeared yet) who was mentioned in Episode 10. My guess is Eugene is CJW's older sister and the reporter Kim Ho Kyung is LJY's younger sister (since it was implied that she might be adopted as well).
I feel no remorse towards the wife. They were warned and still decided to still go.
Unfortunately, the world is full of stupid, entitled morons like that, and the good guys end up paying the price. It was a very realistic scenario (the whole “taking responsibility for the incident” and resignation) and quite frustrating to watch.
