So, I see the bromance tag up there. Is there one, and if so, is it a good one?? You can spoil away, I don't care.
Yes, there is and it's excellent. It's a somewhat mature bromance based on mutual respect, loyalty and trust, possibly due to the age gap between the characters. It's not the same as say, Goblin or While You Were Sleeping where the characters were from a similar background and age.
The subs are at least two days late - I always end up watching both episodes on Tuesday evening, which is pretty late compared to other dramas that are subbed a few hours after broadcast.
can someone explain the reason for this rating? I'm watching the drama wrong? I dont understand. this is so incredible,…
Some viewers don't rate it until the series ends, so it might rise later.
Also the main character isn't a typical clear cut nice guy, which is in general what kdrama viewers expect. Na Yi Je makes questionable and immoral choices to achieve his goal, so that may not sit well with those who can't stomach the "revenge at all costs" theme this show has.
episode 5 .. so did the nurse really kill the girl's father so that choi do hyun gets the heart or still not confirmed?
Not confirmed at this point. It's implied that he was a journalist writing an article that would've caused a stir (political) and was taken care of by a different party. The nurse mentioned that she was never questioned after his death despite being his nurse.
Why isn't episode 5 been subbed? It is always the day after the episode is released
The drama wasn't picked up by Viki or Netflix, hence the delay. You can find the sub txt file and add it to any of the streaming sites and watch it. But generally even the txt file is available about two days after the broadcast. It's very annoying.
He killed the victim five years ago but was acquitted, so he can't be prosecuted for the same crime again. This…
That's what he claimed but it was not mentioned by anyone else - neither the police nor prosecutor. We don't know whether he was lying or telling the truth about copying another murder at this point. There's no mention of a cold case anywhere. (Episode 3)
I missed something, there was a third murder - a cold case? Maybe all the place names confused me up to this point…
He killed the victim five years ago but was acquitted, so he can't be prosecuted for the same crime again. This is known as double jeopardy.
His lawyer made a deal with the former cop to find a way to put the killer in jail in exchange for testimony that will exonerate him from the murder he was charged with in the second case, since he was framed for that crime.
He also killed his mother but this was not discovered until his lawyer deduced his mother was murdered and buried somewhere on his property. The police found him trying to move the mother's corpse after he was released from jail. This was the crime he was arrested for in the end.

Okay, so I *may* have some issues.
