Oooh how did i miss this? Writer Juan Miguel Severo & Director JP Habac is working on a new series called "Meet Me Outside" sponsored by Blued app (i think it's like a less aggressive Grindr) and the sponsor of GSP finale. Now it makes sense they kept pinning the tweet of Blued the past few eps.
Meet Me Outside stars Kaloy Tingcungco (Martin from Boys' Lockdown) and Genesis Redido (Otep from In Between). Anyone know which studio is this? Is it also Globe Studios or Blued's own production team? 6 episode order according to MDL? Looks like it's set for December release.
There has been a lot of outside talk in GSP. I feel like it's also reference to the new mini-series and not just pertaining to meeting outside for a date as one does on dating apps. Is Globe Studios building a BL universe like The IdeaFirst Company? *o*
I kinda knew they wouldn't end the series with your typical happy ending as other BLs, but fret not, fans of GSP. This aligns well with the Wattpad version especially now they're back in school. Also, Sue "found someome". It's not exactly the same as wattpad version, but characters should be close to the og ones.
It would've been weird to end it a happy HAPPY ending anyway. The entire series happened in just over a month. A lot has happened in that time frame, but to switch from acting straight to everyone for 19 years to being openly being in a relationship out in public in that short does not make sense.
It threw me off that Vlad made up with his ex though. The wattpad version revolved around the fact that Vlad just broke up with Aldous and Aldous wanting him back. In the finale i think Aldous is pretty much over Vlad. When GSP gets a season 2, I'd like to see another school character as Karl's love interest who is okay with him still being in the closet. Vlad kinda rejected Karl's advances in the finale since he no longer wants to hide anymore and said they both deserve to be with someone who would do the same for them. This might light up fire under Vlad's ass and I'd love to see it lol
So anyway, SEASON 2. Greenlight it now, Globe Studios!

I think normally all PH shows are shot and edited only within a few weeks. They don't go a long time in post-production like in other countries. I think especially the mainstream ones. I think as soon as the initial lockdown started, Within 2 weeks almost all shows on the mainstream networks stopped airing originals. It's not like in other countries where their TV series is shot months ahead and polished in post production for weeks. If that wasn't the case then they wouldn't foresee the series extensions as it's greenlit in days notice. I remember GB was only slated to be a 4-episode series. Due to unprecedented success, it was extended to 6 or 8, then 10 and then 13. The first 9 ran uninterrupted, then idk what happened to the last episode why it was delayed again when they had a 2 week head start between 10 and 11. HS was a blatant cash grab to have people willing to pay get it first. They didn't have to break the last episode from the rest since they are done filming and editing long before the scheduled finale.
Another typhoon passed through the same area but this time i think it brought heavier rainfall. A lot of areas are flooded atm. They hosted a fundraising event instead.

But instead of Aldous being the ex who he just broke up with the reason Vlad is drunk, it's Karl and Vlad not being able to reach an understanding of what their relationship is.
Now I'm almost certain there's gonna be a second season which will loosely be based on the wattpad version. They'll probably announce it before the finale or at the end credits. If they go that route, we're gonna meet Vlad's brother, Sue's love interest, Aldous (Vlad's ex), and the rest of the film club members. The anticipation!
TFC better post all episodes on YT and not tease us like they tease all their shows lol
