It's finally getting better. The soundtrack is top tier. The end credits song is amazing. FYI it is "Hindi Ako Bibitaw". Moira actor is so good. I curse every time she says anything. The product placements on this episode is a bit much though lol
edit: I just realized My Day have a 4-song soundtrack available on YouTube Music, so it's definitely available on Spotify or other streaming platforms. They even have that Disney-esque version of the OST used in the trailer lol
That was cute! They ended where the relationship was just about to start so I wasn't really expecting much but the journey getting there was great! Can't wait for the movie. Hopefully season 2 is in the cards.
Gameboys ep 11 officially moved August 23, Sunday at 8pm (MNL) // 8am (US ET) // 5am (US PT).
Good move IMO. Gameboys' success can be largely attributed to word-of-mouth and social media. They will be buried with Still 2gether tweets and will take 2nd priority for all BL fans who planned to watch both during that day. Saturday already have 2 PH BLs (My Day & In Between) on schedule so Sunday would be the best time for it. No competition + still a weekend.
Another mystery guy at the end? Who is that guy and who is he calling shuai ge? I googled and "Shuai Ge" it's Chinese for "handsome brother" so the guy answered to a call from a dude. Who is Orion and who is Orion calling handsome? Is it like "oppa" or "hyung"? I NEED ANSWERS!!
They've been living together for over a year and Tine still act he's never seen Sarawat naked. What is this Sotus S II? I'm not asking for steamy scenes or kissing scenes, but let's be real here. If you've lived with someone for over a year you pretty much comfortable around and know your roommate pretty well, let alone a boyfriend who sleeps next to you every night.
Ace needs to calm the fvk down. I think they all need to do better. Some actors are clearly over acting and needs to tone it down. When actors are doing their job you won't notice them acting. Most of the acting on Ep 2 is so apparent it's almost jarring to watch. The repetitive phrases is also a problem. Ep 2 part 4 around 2:55 was clearly not a good take. She paused mid-sentence and yet it made it through the final cut. That wasn't her fault. Either the editor didn't use the right cut or the director only shot that scene once which is worse. Also, how did Chukchuk got out of the house when the room Chukchuk went into have double doors that are closed? The director needs to step up his game. He should've seen these during filming and editing.
If you guys check the graph icon next to "Ratings: 4.5/10 from 4 users" and scroll down, the series have more users rating them. The real ratings should be around 7-8. Also if you hover over "4.5" it actually shows 7.89 from all who's currently watching the series.
Same, and some of the editing just feels like wasted film. I suppose it's being done that way to emphasize; but…
No I did not lol! Now this really feels like season 2 instead of extension. And yeah some of the repeated scenes felt like it was there for emphasis. The first part was literally nothing but him coming out and the second part was them being back together and their friends finding out about them. They need to realize they don't need to hold our hands and trust we get what's happening.
Pilot episode definitely have upsides and downsides. In my opinion there aren't any problems story wise. One thing though, why is Sky still seeing that awful girl when she can demean him and his family in front of their faces. Like does Sky not have self-respect at all? lol.
A lot of the downsides come from acting and the way some actors deliver lines. There's also a problem with audio. Some dialogues seem to be dubbed and they switch between regular and dub audio in the same scene and it's jarring to listen to. Hopefully they fixed the audio moving forward during filming.
5 episodes in and there's still a lot of fillers. I think they never changed the initial episodes prior to extension. I think Ep 6 will feel like season 2 without flashbacks since Ep 5 seemed to have wrapped up all the flashbacks. Hopefully they fix the pacing issue in the future. They keep repeating scenes from previous episodes unnecessarily. They could've kept each episodes around 10 minutes and it would have the same effect. It's clear they're doing this to split episodes into two for ads
We'd either get a 2 part finale or they quietly extended Hello Strangers for a total of 9 episodes. It doesn't…
I think they just picked the number out right. Both Gameboys and Hello Stranger are actually the first strong BLs to come out of PH and they're airing side by side. Both are experimental projects I suppose to gauge if there is market for BLs in PH. Gameboys was 4, then 10, then 13. In Between got extended as well I think. I think I've seen the number 8 for Hello Strangers since I first visited this page.

After rewatching the ep it looks like they're really skipping next week. Vivoree said at after end credits fancon attendees will see ep 8 in advance and that's happening on Aug. 16.
It was announced by the production company (Black Sheep) that there will be a Hello Stranger: The Finale FanCon…
We'd either get a 2 part finale or they quietly extended Hello Strangers for a total of 9 episodes. It doesn't make sense for them to hold off the finale for a week now that the supposed penultimate episode is out. Not even American TV networks with their horrible scheduling do that.
Gameboys ep 10 broke its own record and now the fastest episode to reach 500k views in just a little over 2 days. Incredible feat for a company that started with 2-4k subs before the first episode dropped. Well deserved!
