I found him through signal, and I was shocked at just how much he looks like Kim Soo Hyun (or how Kim Soo Hyun…
In the beginning, I generally liked Park Hae Yeong too. But there were moments when he irritated the heck out of me every time he did something compulsive. So it took me a while to completely warm up to him. But by the end of the drama, as his character became less naive and more cognizant of how his actions affected others, he truly became one of my favorite drama characters.

I heard so much about him with Architecture 101 movie, however, never did he interest me in that movie (well,…
I agree -- architecture 101 was just so-so for me, but I've liked him in most of his other dramas. signal was definitely an eye opener -- not just for me, but i think for alot of people who weren't familiar with him before that drama.

i discovered him through signal, and he became one of my favorite actors after that , i saw a couple of his movies…
Yeah...don't watch Fashion King -- it took me a while to finish it, and only because I felt I had to because I was writing his stalker's guide. lol. If you haven't already, definitely watch Bleak Night. It's one of his pivotal roles.

Okay... This might sound like out of nowhere... Or the least concerned thing about this poll.... But, to me the…
They were one of my favorite bromances as well, but not alot of people watched 38 Task Force compared to some of the other dramas listed...therefore the few votes.

Actually, SIG does bromances really well in general. I also liked him with Oh Dae Hwan in Shopping King Louis, and last year he was phenomenal with Park Bo Gum in I Remember You.

Every year folks get bent out of shape because they feel this poll is biased. But if we’re speaking realistically, this isn’t some awards show where professional critics evaluate dramas based on stringent criteria. We're just regular people who enjoy kdramas, and vote based on personal preferences. Key words being, “personal preferences,” which doesn’t always equal “the best.” Understandably it can be frustrating for those who watch a wide variety, to see the gems outranked by the top 2 or 3 “it” dramas of the year. But regrettably, shows like Signal or SFDs, while extremely good, weren't as highly viewed by MDLers. By default they'll get less votes. It sucks, but that’s how it is. Personally, I have more fun nominating my favorites, than voting.

I remember reading a few chapters of the manga for this a while back and decided to check it out. A pleasant watch…
You basically wrote everything I was thinking while watching this movie! At one point, I thought she was delusional and had been imagining their relationship. It would have made her taking in a stranger and Itsuki disappearing like that, more credible.

I'm emotionally drained after finishing this. What a heartrending last 5 episodes. Don't think I've cried over k-drama characters so much --- ever. Even the evil ones. Moon Lovers was undoubtedly well done. I'm truly impressed.

Almost forgot about Moorim! I really enjoyed alot of these bromances. I also had a blast watching Seo in Guk and Oh Dae Hwan in Shopping King Louis, and the three musketeers in Drinking Solo (Key, Gong Myung and Kim Dong Young). Thanks for the article!

Someone explains to me how the raiting has drastically dropped (it was 9 and now it's 7.8)... Guys don't…
Unfortunately, this happens frequently for dramas that have popular actors and idols. People that dislike them will give their drama a low vote out of spite. Pretty infantile if you ask me. The rating will go up again (if it's any good of course) once it's finished airing.

I like the acting, and the story is interesting -- but I'm not enjoying this as much as I thought I would. I think I'm just jaded after watching too many rom-coms. Sigh. I'm going to watch variety for a while.....that usually gives me a reset. Then I'll come back to this.

Even though these polls tend to be popularity instead of quality contests, they're still a lot of fun to participate in. So thank you MDL team for your hard work putting this together! I can only imagine the long hours that were put into this.

One thing I wish could be fixed, however, is not allowing more than one vote per user. Or at the very least, only one vote per day. As it stands now, you can vote repeatedly. This happened last year too, so I assume the issue is sourcing a polling application that saves the MDL user's info, so that they can only vote once. Oh well....maybe next year. :)

only two things made this drama enjoyable for me -- first, song yoon ah. she is truly the best character in this show. second, the constant backstabbing -- and subsequently seeing folks maneuvering their way out of sticky situations.

I like it so far, but sometimes it's hard to focus on what the characters are saying because of the nearly nonstop music. the ost is pretty cool, but the way it's being used is distracting and intrusive at times.

While the lead couple didn't do much for me (no chemistry), I had a blast with the rest of the characters.…
agree. at one point it felt like every other word out of his mouth was 'low quality.' it was funny at first, but when he was still at it in the last few episodes (noble idiocy aside), it just made me feel badly for Hana. it didn't help that she was a doormat nearly the entire drama. there were several times i wanted to reach through the screen, knock a backbone into Hana as well as shove JJS off of his egotistical pedestal.
