for senseless entertainment this drama is good. no better than porn. I heard many guys are into Hye Jung. Clear…
@ arielle -- what does watching a show online (free or paid) have anything to do with expressing ones' opinion? it's catocat's perspective, which last i checked they are entitled to. one of the reasons sites like MDL exist is so that folks can post how they feel about a drama -- both the good and the bad -- as long as it's productive and doesn't belittle anyone. it's fine if you disagree with a post -- but to tell someone, as you so politely put it, to 'shut up,' does nothing towards engendering constructive dialogue about a drama.

Aaron is talented, but the roles/dramas he chooses are just so-so. Perhaps romance dramas (with dashes of melo) are the majority of what Taiwan produces, and therefore his options are limited. Don't really know. I'd love to see another side of this acting. I think he'd do well playing a dark, grittier role in some sort of crime/psychological drama.

Really enjoyed this. Such a lovely slice of life --- well executed and with great characters.

My introduction to dramaland was through japan (first anime, then dramas). While admittedly, I tend to watch more kdrama nowadays bc they are subbed quicker and heavily promoted...I still find jdramas equally entertaining and just as good, if sometimes not better. What I love most, is that quirky surreal humor japan does so well integrating into their dramas. Some find it weird, but I find it charming and such an integral part of alot of jdrama. Nodame Cantabile comes to mind -- I loved the jversion because they managed to capture the quirky essence of the anime characters so well. The kversion, not so much (i dropped it midway). Fantastic article! I agree with all of it.

it took me a while to finish it...but once I started -- i marathoned it bc it was that good. it's not a perfect drama, but it sends an important message. it didn't seem to get a lot of viewers, but i personally really enjoyed this one.

Yes, I am currently watching Vampire Detective and I am loving it! The only thing that kind of concerns me --…
i agree. i don't think yoon san is a true vampire, otherwise he would need blood and wouldn't be able to stand the sun. it will be interesting to see if he stays as a "hybrid" or if he later transforms fully.

out of the dramas i'm currently watching, this is by far one of my favorites. i love the dynamic between yoon san, goo hyung and han gyeol wool -- frankly, i'd be fine with just watching them interact in a drama. and i'd definitely let yoon san near my jugular. no maybe's about that. :P thanks for the article....well written!

i wanted to like this one, but the acting was pretty bad. it's also my first time watching ji il joo.... throughout the entire drama, he had this nonstop smile when he was supposed to be emoting anger, sadness, frustration, jealousy, etc....just seemed kind of disturbing and out of place. i'll have to watch him in something else to see if it was just bad direction.

The acting was great...especially Ji Soo. His riveting performance alone is enough to watch this movie. The beginning was promising, the middle suffered from somewhat uninspired writing, but the ending reeled the story back in with its incredibly realistic and bleak snapshot of the decisions people (especially scared teenagers under parental pressure) would make if placed in the same position. The story certainly could have been better, but overall a decent watch if you're in the mood for a coming of age story where an innocent night of fun, takes a terribly wrong turn for a group of young men.

This drama was really great. Hong Jong Hyun drew me in initially -- but the story and the rest of the cast is what kept me watching it. The ending was a tearjerker, but it was perfect. I couldn't ask for more.

I only kept watching this for Hong Jong Hyun. The drama wasn't terrible, but between the cliches and a plot that kept circling around the same issues over and over --- it was close to it. And Han Seung Yeon's lackluster acting didn't help. There was zero chemistry between her and HJH, making me wish he had ended up with the 2nd female lead instead -- they made a more interesting and believable couple.

the movie was confusing as heck (the terrible subs didn't help), but i enjoyed it nonetheless. the chemistry between hwan and hye jung was fantastic. hope to see them together again in another movie or drama.

I guess this was a coming of age story for Shiro. A bit monotonous at times, but still a decent movie.
