Title The Gifted Graduation Spoiler
My head is all a mess now with episode 10. Holy crap, I can barely make heads or tails of who is good, who is bad, who is simply under the Director Supot’s control, etc.

And when the hell are we going to finally understand what Grace’s potential is? You know it’s going to be amaze-balls, but DAMN, the suspense is killing me.

Side note: I feel like most of the kids have been sidelined for the last 2 or so episodes, and the rest even more. I know that Mon and Jack/Joe don’t have a bunch of storyplay, but I kind of wish they were involved more somehow. Looks like the baby gifteds will have some screen time next week, at least. At least their introduction into the series isn’t a loss because of virus being used on them storyline.

UNRELATED: Tay looked so gorgeously evil here! I love everything about him and his acting skills. When he was entering the place they were keeping his friend “Supot”/real Yuth, I knew it was him right away because I’d know that Adam’s Apple anywhere :) love, love, LOVE him!

Me too or that the gay partner runs away so that the other partner can live a heterosexual life. I liked this…
Another terrible trope (currently in play in LBC2 with TulHin).

But yeah, the guys really look just like the average guys at school. Not everyone is model status as other BLs would have you believe ;)

OMG! Why did you have to remind me of ATWT? :( That was so depressing. Everything toward the ending was just chaos…
I love pouring salt in old wounds? And then making others suffer with me? LOL kidding, but yeah... I’m still salty a decade later :-|

Title Oxygen Spoiler
I love Phu and Kao’s interactions. They’ve really gotten sweet on each other, and it feels both gradual and sudden LOL. It’s honestly the best part of the show for me. However...

After reading quite a bit of the comments here, I’m really surprised at how many people find this show boring. I know everyone has their own tastes/preferences, but I’m still surprised anyway. The slow burn of the romances has been nice for me, which usually makes me impatient. I don’t find Gui and Solo stiff or wooden or expressionless as some have said. I haven’t read the book, but I think their reserved natures is intended, as is their extreme politeness.

The only thing I’m just not crazy over is the whole Drs. Petch and Perth, Khim, and Khem storyline. It just sucks because Petch and Khim are both incredibly foolish, and I can only see Perth and Khem getting hurt. Looks like a triangle of unrequited love (Perth likes Petch, and Petch likes Khim, but Khem likes Petch, also). I guess this is more of a love square LOL.

Anyway, I’ll keep going because the show holds my interest and it’s just one of the many that I watch.

Same! It’s crazy! Btw what about Earth?
Hmmm...

Earth? Naive?

I guess that can be problematic, given all the things he’s let continue to happen to him...

I’ve seen this trope many times in gay movies but this is my first time seeing it in a BL
This was in HIStory3: Make Our Days Count, and part of the reason why so many fans of the show are still traumatized. It’s been quite common in American shows in the past. Honestly, I love BLs not just because I like to support the portrayal of us LGBT as just regular people, but also because it’s usually a light and fluffy escape from everyday life. So usually when a seemingly out of place death occurs, people tend to take it to heart.

Seriously...why did they kill him off on ATWT? Just to give his heart to someone? Worthless story if you ask me!!!…
OMG yes! Martha Byrne will always be Lily in my heart. Her chemistry with everyone (not just Holden, but with her kids too- especially Luke) was quite realistic and emotional. And I never got a satisfying conclusion for her and Dusty. Ugh, opening up old wounds, LOL.

I feel you on the soaps getting canceled, though. That was definitely my younger days pre-YouTube and streaming services and everything being online. This new generation doesn’t know what it’s like. I made sure to set my VCR to record all my soaps!

I know, right?! My poor heart was destroyed over Reid. I was FUMING! Literally EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER besides the gay ones got a happy ending. A whole freaking decade later and I’m still upset >:|

I’m glad someone else shares my misery, but I’m still salty!

Title Like in the Movies Spoiler
She is an ally.... ! really
OMG... honestly, I don’t want an a
“ally” like Judit. To me, her behavior is so toxic. I mean, I get she loves her brother, but you can’t force a person to come out- especially if they are still confused. If I’m being honest, her character grates my nerves so badly.

Unless something completely out of left field happens in the final episode, I’ll remain frustrated at this series. I am sick to death of the “bury your gays” trope. I can even say it gets old. It’s been old for the last three decades that the film/television makers decided that we were “good enough” to be included in real stories, but only enough to be killed off so everyone is disappointed, or killed off to make a happy ending for the straight storylines (I’m looking at you, ATWT). So over it.

Lovely rant. I wrote a sort of “outline”/main theme or storyline list a few episodes back to try to make sense…
:) Any time! I try to leave a line or two in the comments of the shows I watch in case someone else is thinking what I’m thinking, lol. And watching like 20+ currently airing BLs... I have lots of opinions :D

Same here, My top drama are “Cherry Magic” and “I Told Sunset About You” and this is third place hahaha,…
True. “Pornographer” or “The Novelist” was quite good. I definitely agree that the Japanese stick to the original storylines if they are making a series off a manga or book. BTW, if I’m not mistaken, there’s going to be a special or movie for “Pornographer” next year :)

Cherry Magic is pretty hysterical. I find myself trying to catch my breath after laughing so much at that show.
Replying to divinesweetz Nov 6, 2020
That is the exact way that I described this show. It’s literally miles away from season 1. After watching episode…
Yeah, seems like one too many loose threads to tie up in one special episode.

I’ve seen Gaya sa Pelikula. I really enjoy it. But there’s something about Cherry Magic that sparks my funny bone and also uwus (don’t kill me for saying that, but it’s appropriate here LOL).

Title So Much in Love Spoiler
This is a series that I don't think I'd be satisfied no matter what ending they gave us. However what I was NOT…
Lovely rant. I wrote a sort of “outline”/main theme or storyline list a few episodes back to try to make sense of the show (it’s somewhere down in these comments LOL). But I agree with virtually everything you said. This reminded me in some ways of “Why R U”. Don’t get me wrong- I loved that show, but it suffered from too many characters, couples, and seemingly endless bed scenes. But at least that show didn’t have so many storylines that seemed so disconnected from everything else.

If this show had been properly organized, it would have been much better. Also, lose the volleyball team and GL storylines because they didn’t serve any real purpose in this series.

I was disappointed because I really wanted to see Strong’s (Indy) potential in another series after seeing him in “What the Duck”. Lots of people seemed to dislike that series, but Strong’s performance as Oat was the silver lining of the series. But once again, he was wasted here in this series.

I don’t know... I can’t say much because, even though this show could be called lots of things like confusing or disjointed, I don’t regret watching it.

Time to move on to newer interests :)
Replying to Ugh_No Nov 5, 2020
What in the disjointed nonsense is going on with this show?
That is the exact way that I described this show. It’s literally miles away from season 1. After watching episode 11, there’s no way that they will tie up the storylines in one more episode in any shape or form that makes sense. Disappointed isn’t even close to how I feel about this :|

I may not agree with your assessment of the overall show, but I agree about It. His character development is really…
Okay, I’ll agree with that. The story is moving much slower since Tan’s mother died. And I’m not sure where Tan/Oil’s storyline is headed.

Yes. I wish I could understand Thai completely without it, but my Thai knowledge is limited :(
