I think he was in tears because, even though he has had mostly positive inputs from his loved ones after coming out, he feels like he was almost forced to do so when he was high on his emotional rollercoaster. If it hadn’t have been such an intense situation, I doubt he would have just come out with such little preparation. He clearly knew and accepted his sexuality, but I don’t think he was ready to deal with people being intimately knowledgeable about his sexual matters. Just my thought, though.

I agree about the shouting that seemed out of place. The fact that Migo was the most overheated made little sense, since he’s the one who initiated the hashtag CancelRam situation without knowing the facts. He even said so himself.

The medical “advisory” was funny though. It started off seriously, but then was like “but there’s no harm in trying ;)” and I did chuckle at that.

actually i'm hoping Rico and Mika end up together. They are cute together. too bad we didn't got to see Jamie/Josh…
Yeah, I surprised myself by liking Rico and Mika. That girl is a mess, but I think in the end, we can see she really is good hearted because she accepted Rico for who he was. The lack of Jamie/Josh was probably my biggest disappointment. Actually, for all the band members, the lack of attention given to Jamie overall was a crime. Other than showing he was a playboy who loved gaming, we didn’t get to learn more about him. He had a little background (feeling he was only there as a pretty face), but come on- the 3 other guys got decent air time and stories.

Cute, cute, CUTE! I know I’m dying for some romantic (not necessarily physically intimate) progression, but I can’t deny how adorable this was. They really looked good as daddies. Both are very caring. And the way Tops looks at Win could set his soul on fire. They are so in love with each other, it’s literally not even funny. With only 4 episodes left, I want some real WinTops, really expressing how they feel about each other. I don’t want Win to go away, never having been completely honest with his feelings.

P.S. I know I’ve said it countless times, but Jeff and Gameplay have excellent chemistry. It’s rare for me to see actors who I feel connect on this level. The other pair that have that chemistry for me is MaxTul.

Waiting impatiently for “Manner of Death” for MaxTul and then “KinnPorsche” for these boys!

I was shocked that we saw two men kissing. (Well, their lips were together, very chaste, but it was definitely…
If you’re into some lovely Japanese men kissing, check out “The Novelist” (also known as “Pornographer”) and the subsequent “Mood Indigo”. “Mood Indigo” is a prequel to the former, but they were released in that order, so I recommend to watch it in that order. Slight spoils below:

“The Novelist” isn’t very steamy (physically), but “Mood Indigo”? You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Plus the storylines are good, so there’s that LOL. Also check out the Takumi-kun movie series (1-5) if you’re interested in something a little older but also good (cheesy at times, but good).
Okay, so let’s see what episode 8 did for us:

Adachi and Kurosawa handholding cuteness: check!
Adachi revealing his relationship with Kurosawa: check!
Tsuge being on the verge of exploding: check!
Awesome silent magic communication between friends Adachi and Tsuge: check!
Cliffhanger not involving the main couple: check!

Like, the ending shocked the hell out of me! I should have figured that other friend liked Minato because whenever a character is inexplicably mad, it’s usually because they like someone and don’t know how to handle that. Damn, the wait until next week will be brutal...
I totally get why so many people have said this season feels like straight fan service. I love Mew and Gulf- I think they’re sweet, but the material for this season is just not it. I’m loving the Doc and Champ, though. Champ is clueless as usual, and the Doc is painfully shy. I’m ready to FF them to their sweet spot. Techno is just as annoyingly hilarious as a blabbermouth, just like S1. Too bad there isn’t more on his personal life in this storyline so far. Fiat and Leo would be cute together, but it’s always so aggravating to see one-sided devotion when the other is desperately trying to get someone they can’t have. Notably missing were Phugun and Cir. I’m not really sure what purpose they serve, but nong is really adorable. Also missing was Klui. He’s always good for a laugh or two.

I’m waiting for this Nana/Type confrontation next week.

It’s over, and I’m happy to move on. I didn’t hate the series. There were things I really enjoyed about it, but too many little things that irked me.

The main OST I found annoying. “Say Love” (or is it “Same Love”?) gets repetitive after two lines. The songs in the last episode were pretty good, though. But why was half of the episode like a bunch of music videos? I could have lived with one or two songs and preferred to have more time to explore some of the lingering issues with the characters.

For example, I know Rico was confused about falling in love with Mika, but they’re already in a fake relationship. Did he ever come clean to her and start a legit relationship? What happened with Jamie? Was he just left hanging? I know Josh went away to study or whatever, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have texted or called each other or SOMETHING. Their storyline hanging really disappointed me. And the main two- was the purpose of Aiden and Danny singing that song to each other a “coming out” to the world or was it like some inside secret. Aiden did say he wanted someone special to come on the stage with him, but they’re band mates so that could have meant anything.

I’m not asking for another season or anything like that... because this one was as much as my brain could handle. I just wished the time in this last episode (like 35 minutes runtime) was used more effectively to tie up things a bit more cleanly. Whatever. Maybe there’ll be a special episode, as is the trend these days.

The end. NEXT!

Title Oh, Mando! Spoiler
Once again, if you are a BL protagonist, do not dare to be gullible, human, frail, do not ever dare to make a…
I agree with what you said about people expecting all BL protagonists to be total pillars of morality and virtue. However, my main issue isn’t with Mando, but with Barry.

At least Mando was doing his best to ignore his feelings and be faithful to Krisha (I don’t agree with denying who you are, but that’s his life, not mine). But Barry? On the other hand, he made this whole speech about how his little sister meant the world to him and how Mando better not hurt her or he’d throw him off a bridge or something to that effect. For the sake of being honest with himself, I didn’t have a problem with him disclosing his feelings for Mando or his dreams or any of that. But why take it one step further? Okay, we could even argue that Barry and Mando got caught up in their lust and made the mistake of cheating. I could live with that (didn’t say accept, but I wouldn’t be burning them at the stake). BUT! Then they continue to “be together”, even while Mando and Krisha are still together. That part right there is what gets me. But I don’t expect characters to be always virtuous. I actually love flawed characters (see: Stud in Friendzone/Friendzone 2).

I’m curious to see where the hell this will go in episode 5 because the teaser makes it look like guilt will get to Mando first.

Title Ben X Jim Spoiler
Well, now that it’s over...
I know I’m not the only one confused. The reuniting of Ben and Jim is just a dream, right? They showed Ben in bed just before all of that, so isn’t this what we are supposed to assume? I feel like many things weren’t really cleared up. Did Ben tell Jim all their family drama in that video message? It seems like he did, but Jim coming back to him so lovingly after hearing all that seemed far fetched. Sigh...

But what’s up with Olan and Yana? If they get together or just end up good friends, their ship is pretty cute and they both deserve to be happy. Ben shouldn’t have lead Olan on and Jim was just plain dirty to Yana.

If the other posts I’ve seen about this having a season 2 is legit, I hope they clear up some of these things.

P.S. All the people freaking out about that kiss being fake or CGI- I don’t know what to say, but I’ll take everything in 2020 with several grains of salt. Could be safety precautions due to COVID-19, or any other number of things. Who knows?

Title Friend Forever Spoiler
Episode 10 was so confusing! I don’t like cliffhangers that come out of nowhere. Okay, I mean I get the conversation between Tan and his dad (I hope he comes out to him or properly confesses his feelings for Oil), but does no one realize that Oil isn’t home? Do they think he’s in bed? And what is Kao’s issue? I appreciate the fact that he put it out there that Tan and Oil’s relationship isn’t just the typical “bros”, but he really needs to mind his own business. His attitude and behavior is really disgusting.

Next, I like the sweetness Kun shows to Oil, but I kind of feel Oil is leading him on because- okay, so I know that Oil doesn’t know if Tan likes him back or not, but Oil knows that he himself likes Tan, so I don’t think he should allow Kun to get ahead of himself like this. I know Tan and Oil are still young (even if Tan is university age, he is inexperienced in love), so I have to give them some benefit of the doubt.

But what’s up with Tin and Sea this episode? I felt so cheated! It was so cute that Tin was making those little chocolate banana sandwiches for Sea to cheer him up/feed him, but we didn’t get to see the outcome of that. Side note: why does everyone using a knife in the kitchen on a show ALWAYS cut themselves? It’s like one of the biggest cliches ever!

There’s only two episode left, and I don’t know how they’re going to clear up everything with TanOil, SeaTin, and ItVoice (which hasn’t even properly started!). I guess I’ll just wait and see. The series started out good, but took some serious birdwalks along the way. Still enjoying it, though.

According to GagaOOLala, the series is delayed indefinitely due to the happenings of the typhoon. Apparently, the area where this was being shot received some pretty bad damage. I wish the best to everyone there.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for when this series returns because I think it had promise. From the pilot episode to l episode 2, the improvement of the acting and the story development has been notable.

The interactions between Key and Chen are so cute! I love how confident Chen seems when he’s talking to Key, but in reality he’s shy about his feelings. And Key is just a shy mess all around, LOL.

The phone fantasizing was an interesting mix of hot and cute. The boys have pretty good chemistry with each other.

One interesting development for me is that I’ve really warmed up to Ate Libby. At first, something about her just didn’t sit right with me. But I think since her near breakdown recently, it became easier to understand her, and now she’s not so bad.

I hope the series will finish strong. One more episode definitely does not seem to be enough. But we shall see... fingers crossed!

Title My Extraordinary Spoiler
After watching the finale all I can think is...I feel so bad for the LGBTQ community in the Philippines. For this…
I agree with everything you said. This really disappointed me. I’m so over the “bury your gays” trope. I didn’t find anything hopeful in this series other than the mother finally learning to accept her son when it was literally too late. But that isn’t even hopeful- that’s downright depressing because you shouldn’t have to lose the ones you love before you realize to accept them as they are.

No happy ending. The two who were just trying to figure out who they were or how they felt died. Sandee’s remorse didn’t feel strong enough. The conversation between the professor and the mother didn’t feel as deep as it should have. I don’t know. I’m just kind of bitter now. I had much higher hopes for this show.

Title Boyband Love Spoiler
Let’s see... this show is a lot of “one step forward, two steps back”.

The whole situation with Danny and Aiden is frustrating because I know Danny has fallen hard for Aiden, but the way he is allowing Aiden to toy with him is messed up because he has to know he will get hurt since Aiden hasn’t made up his mind. And Aiden really should have left his girlfriend earlier or been more honest with her because he knew his feelings were conflicted. I don’t know...

The real surprise for me has been Rico and Mika. I did not expect to like them being friendly together, much less Rico getting confused by her. I mean, he is clearly sure of his sexuality, but I think him having someone in his life who knows who he really is and accepts him is something he never had and it’s a good feeling. Even though I thought Mika was over the top at first (and she still is, LOL), I can see now she’s not a bad person. If they end up actually together, I wouldn’t be mad because love is love and sexuality can certainly be fluid.

I wanted more of Jamie/Josh. I hope they can meet again in the final episode. I really think Josh fell for Jamie.

Overall, even with the confusing side plots and other things I didn’t care for, I still enjoy this series as a mindless distraction. But more importantly, I like the fact that there is more to it than just “BL”. Two of the characters are actually gay, and one is the only one who “just fell for a guy even though he is straight”- typical BL type character.

Let’s see how the finale will tie things up.
