I don’t think that Olan likes boys and girls. I think he went in with that orgy because he care for Yana a lot and didn’t want her to go it alone. But I think he wasn’t consciously aware that he was falling for her. I don’t think that he ever had any interest in women before. I do think their close friendship is confusing him. But if you fall for someone, then you fall for them, that’s it.
Yana, on the other hand, seems to just be getting caught up in her newfound sexuality- not sexuality as in being interested in women, but just as a sexual being. I don’t see the “relationship”- if you can call it that, with her and that girl going anywhere long term.
Man, I really try to be positive about every series I watch (within reason), but for a series that is slated to have only 8 episodes, I feel like the pacing is really off. There seems to be so much back and forth talking about the same things and little in the way of progression. Some things felt cringy to me in episode 3- the way Angelo was watching Damon sleep (not in a guardian-type way), and also that comment Angelo made about he was sure he was “bigger” than Damon in reference to being able to see him even when he showers. It felt really out of place to me. Episode 4 was also draggy, but from the preview for the next episode, it seems like the pace will pick up (not sure though since those previews aren’t subbed).
jung hoon is sneaky idk what but he looks so weird
I felt he was fishy from the first time I saw him. I feel like whatever “modeling” job he set up for Shi On is just that- a set up. I hope it doesn’t end up like that, though.
The looks the Chief and Tian exchange with each other... could set ME on fire! Good lord, they make me feel shy, and that’s hard to do ;) Okay, 7 years- I mean, 7 days until next episode >.<
It’s over and I feel... literally nothing. Tokyo was the only sympathetic character, and the series had the thinnest of plots and character development I’ve seen in a while. Next week at this time, I won’t even remember that this was a Mongay show, unlike “Manner of Death”, which made my Mongays filled with interest.
Looks like a good start, but I really cringe when there’s one really rude character that likes to behave as if he/she is superior, especially when it comes to social standing (rich/poor). That always turns my stomach, but hopefully that will be an issue that is tackled.
Okay, I don’t know if it’s just me, but are the production (pacing, editing, technicals) and the acting worsening instead of improving? I just feel like episode 3 was lacking even more than the pilot episode.
I honestly don’t know what to think about this series. I haven’t dropped very many series, so... hopefully it won’t get to that point.
First episode was great! There was so much tension of all kinds, and I’m so excited for the dynamics between the characters/cast. Kao is pretty spicy as Nubsib, and I’m loving the thorniness of Gene. This is probably going to be in my top 5 for 2021 (and I say top 5 because there’s just so many more coming that I’m looking forward to).
I really liked the attention it gave to the toxic series couple shipping, real LGBTQ representation in the actors, bias in expression of series characters (too fem, etc). I really busted out laughing when Kaownah and Turbo popped up because I had a flashback to “Oxygen” series and their appearance there. I hope they keep up the good work. And 1hr for the first episode? I hope they are all lengthy (not necessarily an hour, but the info here says 30mins for runtime and that’s disappointing).
It's a little sus when a YouTube post gets you to click on it by promising Eng Subs and doesn't provide them.…
I was wondering about that, too. But the video is posted twice on two different channels. The channel “ACQUIRED FILM PRODUCTION” has it with English subtitles. I went back and forth between this video and the one on AsterisK Entertainment’s channel to see if it was the same episode or if I was tripping, LOL.
I think production companies should stop making such bad dramas. 3 years ago it would have been better received…
Yeah, this one is a mess. Not being mean, but after watching episode 3, I am still like ????? I’ll watch the last episode since it’s supposedly only 4, but this series has been lacking in all areas. And the runtime is no excuse- I’ve seen better done in short runtimes.
I’m right there with you. The FM’s character is kind of a hard case- she isn’t nasty behaving, but her character…
That’s actually a pretty good idea. If they do something like that with the grandma, I’d be surprised. And yes, Tokyo’s actor is a pleasant surprise :)
Yikes. There are some good things about this - the camera work is good, like the shot when when ML was talking…
I’m right there with you. The FM’s character is kind of a hard case- she isn’t nasty behaving, but her character is so messy that it’s hard to be sympathetic with her. Ever since the last episode where she told Tam to stay away from Tokyo, I’ve had a sort of bitter feeling towards her because I’m kind of over the homophobia thinly veiled as concern for her brother. It kind of grates my nerves (since it’s 2021 after all, not 1991).
The only character I’ve gotten a complete soft spot for is Tokyo because everyone else has done something crappy or sus. There’s even something about Tam I can’t put my finger on. The homeowner seems like a sweet lady, but she is sadly being swayed here and there by both her daughter and the twosome trying to buy her house.
I honestly don’t know where this show will go because it’s 12 episode long- too many for this storyline, even at only 25 minutes runtime per episode.
I'm really liking this season so far. At first, I was worried that they introduced so many characters, but the…
I thought at the last scene between Francia and Flo that Flo said Francia just felt “salty” I guess (I don’t remember specifically what she said) that Bogs and Ben were a thing in college. Did I not hear that correctly? I didn’t realize Bogs was supposed to be straight. I may have missed something.
Episode 2 made some good earmarks of at least giving some of the characters a backstory. I really appreciate that because sometimes a series will just jump into the “action” and never give the viewers a reason to connect to the characters. I really felt bad because I could see the struggle of Nico going away to work to provide for his little brother and also Miray because she’s trying to be her true self while facing the disdain from her father. I hope this little series will continue to improve as it did this episode. I like giving the small/low budget series a chance because they don’t always go the traditional (overused) storyline routes.
Wow.. was Tonhon chonlatee that bad? I kinda wanna watch it now... Just to see how bad it was.. cause it seems…
I would describe TonhonChonlatee as a train wreck you couldn’t help but look at. It was so off the mark in so many ways, but it had these little microscopic moments that put a smile on your face... but there were also so many other things that left you feeling like “Honestly, just why?!” That’s the best way I can describe the show.
This is good. Three eps and nothing upsetting yet, so I'm growing confident. I do wish they'd avoid overdone tropes…
I love the way you describe Earth. I find him incredibly beautiful, but I always get the feeling that since he’s not the Thai standard of beautiful (not fair skinned), that’s why he’s never been the main man up front. But I’m glad he’s in that role here, and he’s doing so well. His chemistry with Mix is pretty good so far also. After the reveal of Tian’s surgery scars, I hope things will kick into a higher gear since this is only 10 episodes. I’m so excited!
Yana, on the other hand, seems to just be getting caught up in her newfound sexuality- not sexuality as in being interested in women, but just as a sexual being. I don’t see the “relationship”- if you can call it that, with her and that girl going anywhere long term.

Yay! The wait is over :)
