bruh he was literally already in modern times in first episode the female lead was chasing him
This really reminds me of another transmigration novel (and its C-drama and donghua adaptations) where there is also a "circle of fate" whereby the ML is "accidentally" responsible for transmigrating the FL, thus ensuring that they can meet and fall in love hehe
Cmiiw, but the plot seemed to be VASTLY different than the novel, right(?) (not complaning tho since it has been…
Yes, the plot is deviating a lot from the novel, although it does retain certain elements (example in the spoiler below). I love the novel so it was a bit weird for me initially, but I'm really enjoying it so far! I just need to turn off my brain and try to separate the two hehe
I feel like I must be the only person in the comments thread thinking what a beautiful ending it was to a beautiful…
Well said! IMO, having a HE for the sake of a HE or because that's what production thinks the audience 'wants' is not good storytelling.
I've always been of the opinion that the best endings are the ones that fit the character arcs, plot, and the themes. And in some cases that means a sad ending, bittersweet ending, open ending, etc (I refuse to call these 'bad endings' just because they're sad) is the most appropriate.
I was very satisfied with the ending for all the points you've described :)
And princess XXY. He has to call her auntie!π ππ
Ok, I shall look forward to learning more in the next few episodes! I was just a bit shocked to see Crazy Yan's name as LCZ's father after learning he's part of the royal family haha
Indeed! I'm curious to know how XQS will handle this because one the trailers showed that:
there is another transmigrator who seems to be forcing events to align with the original plot when XQS causes them to deviate (such as when he prevented TR's death). I wonder what for and who it is and what XQS will do about this hmmm
The real BFJ is the real brother of Faiyuan. Senior help the fake one get a heart transplant with BFJ real heart…
Oh yes thank you, I vaguely remember now. Strange they didn't just kill him like for the other patients - but then I guess our FL wouldn't have gained an important clue otherwise π
I wonder if they cut down the number of episodes. Unless I've forgotten they never explained why they kept the real Bai Feijue locked up and who the imposter is - unless it's going to be relevant in another case π€
I like this series, but I almost always have to turn off my medical brain.-Stitching an old infected wound? A…
Lol yes I had the exact same thoughts as you, but I'm also enjoying it anyway. I think it's because it's not giving a particularly "super serious" type of vibe, so I'm more forgiving of the goofy parts of the romance and medical implausibilities.
