WOW! Episode 11 is a strong and powerful episode. I've enjoyed this drama, but episode 11 took this drama to the next level for me, and made the war story more real and more personal.
All the actors and crew behind this series did a wonderful job in episode 11.
I don't see The White Olive Tree as comparable to Descendants of the Sun. The White Olive Tree seems more real and more harsh than Descendants of the Sun. There isn't any tongue in cheek in The White Olive Tree except for Benjamin, but otherwise this drama is serious.
I did enjoy the dancing of Dr. Pei and Benjamin. They both did a good job w/ the dancing.
Entertaining, sexy, and spicy, but at the same time frustrating.
If one wishes to be entertained, then give it a watch. I binged watch the first 20 episodes. Now I painfully have to wait for the release of the next episode. The episodes are short and before one knows it they are over. This c-drama is higher than a 7.5 rating.
My only other advice is if you haven't started watching it at this time, then wait for all episodes to be released so that you aren't waiting for episodes. The final episode comes out 01.31.25.

i finished watching this drama ,,, are you the one drama is good ? worth watching?? I want to watch drama giving…
I liked it. The ML is from Are You the One. It has some similar themes like Blossom and Are You the One. For example, the FL becomes independent and a good businesswoman, and is raised by her Grandmother because of the turmoil within the family.
However, The Rise of Ning isn't as strong as Blossom.
I feel like every drama starts to get boring once the focus shifts to romance.
I feel the drama has the possibility of losing its direction and momentum after the romance because then evil becomes very evil and goes after the FL and ML, and it is hard for writers to provide a plausible ending without a lot of hand waving and smoke and mirrors.
I think Brocade Odyssey may have gone down this path with its last 2-3 episodes.
Episodes 35 and 36 rank as the worst episodes of this drama for me and I think have ruined the drama.
JYY, and YJL and the craftsman have been put at the total mercy of Prince Bai and the Emperor, and in a no-win situation. They're in a foreign land without any power or allies. There is no way out. Why would anyone wish to live under that stress and pressure? IMHO, whatever the writers come up with will be very unrealistic and dissatisfying. Honestly, JYY should have taken her life or at a minimum a near death experience and let the chips fall, and let's see how Prince Bai recovers from it.
I only see mutual destruction as the end to the situation JYY and YJL and others are in. I know in previous episodes JYY and YJL had a plan, but I think the plan that unfolds will be very weak and very unrealistic. I wouldn't be surprised if the plan stems from the actions of Niang Dai because that may be the only ally JYY and YJL have in Nanzhao because she has feelings for Prince Bai.
I'm very disappointed in the direction the drama has taken.
It's sad to see how the mother's sin eventually gets "paid" by the daughter...And also ironic how both Dou Zhao's…
I've completed episode 22.
I hope DM doesn't take the path of suicide. I hope DM turns away from her mother and towards DZ, learns from DZ, and becomes the successful leader of the Wei family.
The success of the Wei family in DZ's first life was because of DZ.
I want the success of the Wei family in DZ's second life to continue to be because of the Dou family and specifically DM. This would be a nice touch.
Too young to leave this world.
I wasn't very familiar with Kim Sae Ron's work, but I thought she stood out in Bloodhounds and I was hoping to see her in future projects.
Ms. Kim.
Rest in Peace.
I hope your next life won't be as difficult as this one.

2. Unexpected turn of events that MD wasn't counting on
3. I expect a dramatic meet up with MD and JCY
However, The Rise of Ning isn't as strong as Blossom.
I enjoyed it and it is in my top four for the top dramas of 2024, but I like the dramas filled with moves and countermoves throughout it.
However, Rise of Ning is not as strong as Blossom.
One of the best Chinese dramas of 2024. I include this with other strong dramas: The Double, Princess Royal, and Are You the One.
Kudos to all involved with Blossom. Outstanding performances by FL and ML.
Glad to see most of the support or guest characters made it to the end.
9.5/10

I'm waiting to see how DZ becomes the person to run her husband's family household. It isn't going to be good for her father in law.
I'm waiting to see if DZ uses her skills and experience to help DM, and let the Wei family implode
