This drama will hurt without her. If there are other strong k-dramas competing with this one, then I more than likely will skip this one if it doesn't have the two female leads.
IMHO, ratings seem very low. My rating for the first four episodes is 8.5.
My expectations for this c-drama is it will be worth watching especially with the actors involved with this project, and I must say the Princess's maid is awesome.
If you have an interest in the show, the actors and/or the web story, then don't hesitate to watch this drama regardless of the ratings. Watch and draw your own conclusions.
I found this hidden gem a few days ago on HBO Max streaming service.
I finished the c-drama this morning (04.28.25) and I have to say the last episode was a gut punch.
The big reveal was heartbreaking. Kudos to the actress, Zhou Ye, for her performance when her character, Hua Qian, was told about the big reveal. I felt her pain, frustration, anguish, desperation and despair during this scene. It was tough and the actress, Zhou Ye, did an outstanding job.
I will not spoil the big reveal. I highly recommend this c-drama. I feel the rating for this c-drama is more in the 9.0 range.
I'm patiently waiting for the next c-dramas from Zhou Ye, Wang Xing Yue, and Zhao Qing.
Geez!! The aunt needed to be taught a lesson. Why is she so obsessed with Yi Jing?
To me the reason for Aunt's obsession with Yi Jing is Yi Jing is the cash cow of ACME.
It will be interesting to see how the graceful exit of Yi Jing from modeling goes over with the Aunt. Only one other person know Yi Jing is leaving modeling when she turns 30.
Lets see what the investigative agency comes up with on submitted evidence by the KSR's family.
I feel KSH is getting a raw deal because of allegations that may not be true, but are taken as Gospel by the public. Nobody seems to question the writers of the many articles that have covered this event. How interesting that people w/out questions put their complete trust into writers they don't know. I find this very odd behaviour by the public. I'm of the mindset - don't trust anything at face value; question everything.
If KSH was dating KSR when she was a minor, then why wasn't this brought up by KSR's family when it was taking place. Now it comes up after her passing. It makes me wonder.

As for me, I'm in.
I loved the way the FL kept her hand by her forehead when she fainted against her friend.
However, this may set Su Tangli as the nemesis for Mingsu.
I enjoy the characters and their interactions. It is very nice to see them all get along. The question is - how long will it last?
This is a drama I look forward to.

There are some heavy hitting actresses in the main and support roles. I've enjoyed their c-dramas in the past.
In fact, one of the female support characters seems to be a continuation of the FL character from Blossom.
