I loved this drama and it is full of twists and turns; moves and countermoves.

I loved the characters.

I loved the story.

One has to pay attention, or one may miss important information.

I'm dependent upon the subtitles so I had to rewind to catch what characters were saying so that I didn't miss details. I was engaged in this story.

I had to make notes of names to keep up with them as other characters mentioned them.

I looked forward to new episodes of this drama.

This is a strong and exceptional Chinese drama.

I've watch about 100 Chinese dramas this year and the top three for me this year (2025) are...
1. The Vendetta of An
2. Moonlight Reunion
3. Fated Hearts
Honorable mention... Les Belles, Sin Jin, The Legend of Zang Hai, Love in the Clouds, Yummy Yummy Yummy, Why is He still Single? and All Rise.

This was a very strong drama, and I highly recommend it.

It is full of twists and turns; moves and countermoves.

I loved it.

I did like the way each episode opened with a glimpse into the lives of the characters prior to the present timeline this drama takes place in to give the audience more information about their lives, and the reasons they're on the path they're on.

I actually felt bad for a couple of characters because of their storyline. In particular the ML's sister.

I liked the camera work that takes place at bird's eye view to show the tight quarters of the city.

I plan to watch The Vendetta of An on Netflix because I know on the first watch I missed a lot.

I enjoyed this series. I thought the cast was well chosen. I'm not familiar with any of these actors, but they did very well.

I enjoyed the education of legal terms at the end of each episode.

I was wondering if that was Huang Yue's resume displayed at the end of the episode, so I agree I'm expecting a season 2.

I think they both stayed with Jun An, and I'm expecting both to be involved in the next talent hunt. Maybe as mentors?

Nice and sweet Chinese drama. Well acted and written. Good to see a mini-reunion of some of the actors from A Tale of Rose.

This is my first time seeing Eleanor Lee and I like her in this show. I hope see gets some good roles in the future.

Yes. The Double was one of the first chinese dramas that I watched, and at this time it is my number 1 chinese drama. It is excellent and very well done.

I'm looking forward to all future projects by TXW. I'm a fan after seeing TXW in Moonlit Reunion.

Tian Xi Wei is an exceptional talent and in my opinion TXW wasn't used very much in GOTD.

I would prefer to see TXW as a lead in a project that appreciates her talents and puts them on display. This didn't happen in GOTD.

I didn't know how great of an actress TXW is until I saw TXW in Moonlit Reunion.

Now I've only seen TXW in two dramas... GOTD and Moonlit Reunion, and I made a comment on the GOTD comment section after seeing the first few episodes of Moonlit Reunion that TXW wasn't used to her skill level in GOTD like she was in Moonlit Reunion.

I agree. TXW's skills and talents were not used in S1 and I would prefer to see her in a lead role where she gets to showcase her talent like she did in Moonlit Reunion. I thought TXW was great in Moonlit Reunion.

When I saw some of the first episodes of Moonlit Reunion I thought at that time - WOW! TXW didn't get to showcase her skills and talents at all in GOTD, and it was the waste of a great actress.

I don't want Tian Xi Wei in this series if they aren't going to take advantage of this highly skilled and talented actress.

I loved Tian Xi Wei in Moonlit Romance and I would love to see TXW in a series that actually take advantage of her and put her talent and beauty on full display.

I agree because the first season didn't take advantage of the very talented and beautiful Tian Xi Wei (TXW) at all.

TXW's performance was outstanding in Moonlit Romance which lead me to this conclusion.

I love seeing TXW but I want to see TXW's talents on display to the extreme.

Outstanding drama. FL and ML were great in these roles. Supporting cast was excellent. Story, production, costumes, ost, etc. were top notch. I HIGHLY recommend this drama.

This was the first time I've seen FL in a drama, and as I wrote earlier she is great. However, I must add - Li Qin is very beautiful.

She is so beautiful and has a beautiful body which her selection of tattoos did nothing to enhance her beauty. The canvas looks better tattoo free.

I'm on episode 12.

Does the story ever return to the first couple or give any exposition about them so that the audience knows the rest of the story for them? Some characters stories were wrapped up, but there is a big question mark about the ending for the first couple.

It seems like the drama centers around the Lin residence and the various stages it goes through throughout the five decades and the lives of three Lin women, but more the residence than the three characters.

Is this the case or am I missing something?

I'm not one for violence, but I would either stand my ground or run if someone struck me. Numbers would be a big factor in my decision making so if I were heavily outnumbered, then I would try to get one hard shot in and leave the scene. If it was one on one, then we fight, and I would fight to win which means I'm going for the eyes, nose, elbows, knees, and private parts.

I would not have been slapped for 90 minutes unless I was being restrained by others, and couldn't get away.

Regardless of fight or flight I would be reporting this to my parents and then the school w/ my parents, and then hopefully the police with my parents so we could get this documented, and file criminal charges against the individual and their parents.

I would not be waiting 20+ years to report this.

Yes. I've seen Itaewon Class. It was one of the first k-drama's I watched. In fact I recently started watching A Hundred Memories w/ Kim Da Mi.

Time will tell if Ms Song was a bully or if Mr Oh is a fraud and looking for a payday which his timing and actions raise too many red flags for me.

My focus is on fairness until this case goes before the court, and a verdict is made based on evidence and testimony not by way of media.

How would you respond if someone accused you of something you may or may not have done in the past (two decades+), but regardless your career suffers and may be destroyed until your case comes before court, and before this time the person accusing you can continue to speak out against you without any repercussion or accountability. If you're like me, you wouldn't like it at all.

There are allegations made against idols, and idols don't recover even if allegations are determined NOT to be true. Two that come to mind is Soo-jin (formerly of (g)-idle) and Jimin (formerly of AOA). Neither one of these young ladies recovered to the level of success they were at before the allegations were made. I don't like to see this happen to any idol especially if the allegations wind up NOT being true.

In this case, a lot of people in the comments have come to the conclusion that Ms Song was a bully because of what they read or watched without questioning the credibility of the sources, and yet the majority of us don't personally know Ms Song and Mr Oh so honestly a fair decision cannot be made for either one, but the idol is the one to suffer the most.

Verdict doesn't impact my life. I'll continue to enjoy k-drama's and c-drama's. I don't know either one of the actors (Ms Song or Mr Oh) in this case. I don't have any skin in the game. However, I would like justice to be reached and this means both ways.

You say you're an advocate for bullying, then how are you getting your word out and making a difference?

Do you have a foundation to raise awareness against bullying? Do you speak at schools?

As I wrote in my previous comment about seven days ago, Ms Song has denied all bullying allegations and nobody has provided sworn testimony or deposition under oath to prove otherwise. Use copilot to get the true picture of this case. It looks like Mr Oh is looking for a payday.

As I wrote earlier you've already passed judgement on Ms Song without due process.

Everything is allegations and glamorized by a SK show and hasn't gone to court at this time.

No I'm not insensitive but there needs to be fairness until bullying is proven. In this case the actress is not getting due process and her reputation has been damaged because neitizens and media have branded her a bully. Do you think that is right?

If this case is ruled in favor of the actress, then the accuser should be held accountable for his false allegations.

As for this case it seems odd. Before I believe someone I wish to know there background so credibility can be established. In this case it is Mr Oh.

Basically this case is he said, she said, so judgement should be put on hold until the courts not the media decide the outcome of this case.

Ms Song did file criminal charges against Mr Oh in July 2025. This is the reason that Mr Oh returned from the US to SK.

However, before the case is heard Ms Song's reputation has suffered and her contracts have been terminated so her career has ended in the entertainment field.

Now if the courts rule in favor of Ms Song, then how does she restore her reputation, get work as an actress, and recoup lost wages? From Mr Oh? What if we find out Mr Oh is a deadbeat and doesn't have any money to compensate Ms Song - what then? Neitizens who believed Mr Oh and judged Ms Song without due process and defamed her by comments?

And I'm not ignorant. Just like Ms Song you've judged me without the facts. If you read my previous post you would know that I did more research on this then I should. So who is the ignorant one?

My feelings are if a person accuses one of bullying thus ruining the accused career and reputation and the accused isn't guilty, then the accuser should pay to the accused's for damages to their reputation, lost wages, any other damages, etc. for as long as the accused lives. And if the accuser cannot pay, then they go to prison for as long as the accuser lives.

Sadly this drama has come to an end.

I looked forward to watching it everyday.

I enjoyed this drama and loved the people in front of the camera and behind the camera.

I highly recommend it.

I don't know how to take this story.

I don't condone violence, fighting and bullying, but kids do fight. Its reality.

However, waiting for 21 years to come forward and sue the actress for a large some of money should not find its way to court. This dude doesn't want justice; he wants a payday.

The truth isn't going to come out because all the details have been forgotten. People have moved on with their lives just like he did. The man should have done something about this 21 years ago if he wanted justice.

For all we know he could have identified the wrong person that hit him, and to take a beating for 90 minutes? The 90 minute beating doesn't sound right to me. The story didn't mention he was restrained so after one hit why didn't he get the hell out of there, and leave the scene.

What does this dude do for a living?

Is he successful or looking for a big payday at someone else's expense?

I question this guys motive. He sounds envious about the recent success of this actress.

I feel bad for the actress because her last series was a success and she did a good job in it. Now she has lost opportunities because of these allegations.

If nothing comes out of this investigation and this man ruins the actresses career, she needs to sue him for damages and lost opportunities and wages.

Update... I asked questions of Copilot and it seems like Mr Oh is looking for a pay day based on his actions. It doesn't list Mr Oh as having any career in South Korea or US and a wanted report had to be issued before he returned to SK where he alleges he was bullied and suffered mental anguish over the past 21 years so he couldn't establish a career.

It also seems like Mr Oh is able to express himself through media outlets; however, he wishes before the investigation wraps up and then goes to court if enough evidence is found to go to court.

It also seems like this case is going to be hard to prove because of the time lapse since it happened (over 21 years) and no reports being filed before 2012 on school bullying. Mr Oh claims the attack took place in 2004.

Meanwhile, Ms Song is the one being punished, with a hit to her reputation, without due process because her contract has been put on hold or terminated so she is unable to work in entertainment.

Ms Song's recourse would be to counter-sue, but she won't get anything if Mr Oh doesn't have a career or money so my conclusion is Mr Oh should be made to show, by way of the media and entertainment industry, his income statements for the past 21 years and explain how he has been living because to me it seems like Mr Oh is looking for a big pay day and Mr Oh doesn't seem to be divulging any of this information to give more credence about his allegations against Ms Song.

The legal system in SK and entertainment field seem to be treating Ms Song very unfairly without proof of guilt.
