TXW cannot act, relies on Zhang Ling he's pretty face, and they fake the data. Too embarrassing.
Disagree. TXW is fantastic. TXW has been able to showcase her acting skills in Pursuit of Jade and Moonlit Reunion. TXW's face captures the moment with a smile or tears. I've become a fan of TXW with Moonlit Reunion and now Pursuit of Jade. Both of these c-dramas are winners and TXW can act.
I only watch kdramas, but I'm gonna watch this one day. It looks great.
I highly recommend Pursuit of Jade. I started out where I only watched k-dramas, but for some reason I wound up watching The Double and The Princess Royal on Netflix and since then there has been a strong run of c-dramas that I think have been better than k-dramas.
Good move by Netflix in US to simultaneously broadcast this c-drama w/ its broadcast in Asia.
This c-drama is outstanding and well done.
I love the private conversation that take place b/w Chang Yu and Yan Zheng. The setting is quiet and then the music sets the mood. Scenes are perfect. Dialogue is fantastic. Actors are great.
I've been getting up early to get my Pursuit of Jade fix at 5:00 AM CST every day.
Who doesn't need to see that smile on Chang Yu's face with the twinkling eyes followed by - I'll keep you fed by slaughtering pigs! Will this be the new pick-up line of 2026?
It has a lot going for it. The lead actors, supporting actors, story, direction, OST, etc.
There are a lot of scenes in this drama that make you tear up, and then there are scenes that make you laugh. It is during these scenes that the combination of all the people that have worked on this drama come together.
My feedback to the author of this article. Don't bury the lead. It isn't until the last paragraph that you mention lee na young and won bin are married. This information should have been in the first paragraph. I assumed they were husband and wife, but I didn't know it until the last paragraph.
Yeah, it is the best interest of the actors and actresses not to make any public appearance if they are going to be criticized for every little thing they do by their fans and celebrity reporters.
Good series. Long series. 48 episodes. I highly recommend it if you're a history buff like me.
This is a historical piece so there is A LOT of dialogue and exposition. It is not only entertaining, but historical so I learned about the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms during the 10th century.
I recommend only watching two episodes per day. It is overwhelming with facts and dialogue.
For those that like Game of Thrones, this series could be for you. Dynasties rise and dynasties fall and it usually is at the expense of the noble women (e.g. Lady Chu), and the common people.
It's already filmed so release it even if it is only world-wide to Disney+ streaming service. This way those that wish to watch it may watch it and those that don't wish to watch it can watch something else.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to watch this c-drama past episode 24 on the platform I use to watch c-drama. It keeps coming back as fatal error. Everything I've tried to recover doesn't work.

The actor was joking trying to have fun.
I will say Pursuit of Jade is outstanding.
I've seen today's two episodes, and I can't wait until tomorrow's episodes come out.

I used https://www.cpophome.com/swords-into-plowshares-bai-yu-zhou-yutong/ episode recaps to help with understanding the episodes, and the names.

I've seen all nine episodes, and they're great.
The fighting scenes are right out of a comic book.
The little sister is adorable, but then so is the big sister.
Interactions and chemistry of ML and FL is top notch.
Broadcast on Netflix which is a bonus.
