She so needed to hear the truth, and the truth shall set you free. Was it too harsh? I don't believe so, she needs to see herself for how she's been and not even you folks are admitting to that, shame on the ones who have been siding with her thus far, you're just as shallow and shameful as she's been. Jyung Woo asks his sister if she even has a heart, yes she does, a heart that's seen his heart shatter into a million pieces and for what reason? Because he quit his job, whoopidoopidoo, let's go have a crying party for the woman that's only cared about appearance and money. when she starts caring about money, I will see her in a much different light, and she's on that road, a very long road to becoming a new Ae Ra... I am so glad for what the sister asked, who was the reason why their father collapsed, good for her, his father was even more heart broken over the divorce than anyone because he knew his son was suffering the pain of the split-up. Yep, both Jyung Woo and Ae Ra needed to hear that, as much as it hurt him to hear that, he needed to remember the why...

But she still has a long ways to change, note, I said a LONG ways. But I am glad she has been changing how she feels even though it's been only slight little changes. I still say and stick to my word that he never once deserved any of the treatment she threw at him from the point of demanding he work on the text program to her petty revenges. What does she truly have to be so angry at him for? The miscarriage? If so, she doesn't deserve him, because he quit his job without telling her first? If so, she doesn't deserve him. I still say it was all about appearance and cushion, it was all about the money. She's been the only villain up to this point, she's been the only one that has been shallow up to this point, and for everything she's done up to this point, shame on her. I absolutely agree with what his mother and sister were saying about her, and so disagree with what her mother was saying, but then it was her mother that started it all by implanting such ludicrous and shallow advice to her to begin with. Ae Ra's mother's, like I have said before, is so much more despicable and shallow than Ae Ra is, not just for the most terrible advice she gave her daughter, but for the way she's talking now again her in-laws, they saw right through Ae Ra, and should be thinking the way they are, 100% of the way.

Just like our 2nd lead in ep8 says, money can't buy you happiness, and well, Ae Ra was depending on money making her happy, I still feel the way I do up until ep8, it was all about comfort and appearance, nobody has really watched this drama seriously up to now. I feel really super bad concerning the miscarriage, but that is still no excuse for her to act the way she did, including making him go hungry, kicking him out, then ultimately divorcing him, then her stupid dumb petty revenges up till now. There was absolutely no reason for her to hate him the way she did, but then only women are capable of doing that, hating for no strong reason. I see our 2nd lead has reverted back to the phony B that she was for eps 1-4. Too bad Jyung Woo's father had to die, I believe he was Jyung Woo's only support, and I am even more so on Jyung Woo's side in that he was following good and solid advice from his father, don't take the easy road to success, follow your dream. Once again the writers have screwed up, she needed to be there when he woke up at the hospital.

Generally speaking, why do women feel the need to change and mold and controlling their husbands into the person they want them to be, you don't see most men trying to do that with their wives? She started that even before they got married, you don't see him doing any of that with her, so why must she feel the need to do so to him? He was never #1 in her life, comfort and appearance was, HE needs to be #1, in marriage your spouse needs to be #1, if not goodbye marriage, hello infidelity or divorce, very sad... And like I said countless times, if it was the other way around, I'd be 100% against him and be siding 100% for her but it's not...

I don't deny she loved him, but it was only shallow, it wasn't true love, otherwise she wouldn't have done what she did to begin with... She needed the house scene, and even after she showed regret, what did she do? She and her despicable pettiness caused him great discomfort with the lily's, extremely underhanded and despicable, someone commented to me that she knew it wouldn't hurt him that much, how would she know it wouldn't have been worse. Even at the end of the rooftop discussion, her tone of voice said it all, she's out to get him. She married him because she saw only his title, an engineer, something that would bring in good money. He hit it right on the nose, G R E E D!!! If she has a fling as leesara said, she's even more shallow and despicable, and I hope she rots in hell for it. I don't think she will but shame on her if she does. He needs to get into a relationship with our 2nd female lead just to WAKE HER UP...

I don't know why all of you are siding and feeling so sorry for her, what did he do that was sooo bad for what she did and is doing to him? Was he cruel to her? Did he beat on her? Was he verbally abusive to her? No, all he did was loved her and made the mistake of quitting his job without discussing it with her, and rest assured, given he did talk to her first, she would have been dead set against him quitting because it was a cushy job, but a dead end job at that, he saw the potential to make a lot of money, and to make her more happy. Am I a woman hater? Yer darn tootin I am and I have every reason under the sun to be, but that isn't why I'm so on his side or why I'm so hard on her, and I desire to see her changing, but up to the end of ep7, all there is is regret, nothing else, she still has that shallow attitude and it's despicable... Oops, forgot to check on spoiler, sorry folks...

Read the synopsis, and read Wikipedia's synopsis, you're saying the writer's and TV station are wrong when they gave this synopsis? They're lying? No, she needs to be a new Ae Ra... Both the old and present Ae Ra has to go. The old and present Ae Ra are shallow and despicable, and she doesn't deserve to be happy until she changes, and at this rate, all she is doing is regretting, I've watched this drama 5 times from beginning to now to see what I have missed and ever time I've seen it only makes me even more disgusted with her, that attitude has to go. She listened to her mother and married of money and comfort, that is extremely shallow...

She needs to become a new Ae Ra, the old Ae Ra was shallow and all about appearance and comfort to begin with.

Her ex deserves so much better than her and so does our 2nd male lead, she's despicable. She needs to die a lonely old spinster for her actions and attitude!!!

Haha, hehe, LOL, this was classic, her supervisor uses her idea and gets reward for it, thrown right in her face, that'll teach her for being petty. It's about time she got some of her own medicine thrown back at her, it was so very wrong but sweet, at least for me. Right now I'm not liking Ae Ra at all, I'm about 2/3rd's through the 7th, and she really needs some shaking to wake her up. I am so on his side even more so, maybe some of it is trust issues for me right now and that I hate women, but we've already seen the flashback already where she takes his food away from him and tells him to starve because he didn't get an investor yet. Even now, she's still cold cold COLD... That attitude really has to go. I don't care if I'm berated at for this comment, but she's just plain mean, cruel, pathetic and petty, and those of you who say I'm wrong by calling her shallow and a villain, open your eyes already...

Great movie, so glad she gave up on the idiot... First he uses her then after the surgery and he finds out and again treats her like crap, yeah, I would have like to have seen some kind of revenge from her but she wasn't like that, a nice movie for sure... Very similar to the Jdrama Artificial Beauty...

My error, my comment was supposed to be in another spot, I was meaning she has been coming across sort of phony, a bit shallow up until ep5, from ep5, she seems to have changed somehow, she's a different person. I hope she's not mean to her either. Jeong Woo hasn't really given her any inkling that he likes her though, so it's been a one sided love, but yes, you are right Ae Ra has now become a rival in her eyes. I so hope not because it'll change my view of her. Right now my heart breaks for her for what she's been through, if she becomes mean, she's no longer the person I thought she was.

I think the 2nd lead is going to end up with her best friend, that's my prediction...

After watching the 1st ep for the 5th time, people saying I have it all wrong by calling her a villain, wow, I so am calling her a villain, for her it's been about comfort, and money, when was she truly struggling? Even her best friend asks her that? No, everything she's done up to Ep6 is pure spiteful and revengeful, She so needed the house conversation, karaoke, and the rooftop, she needed his cruetly at the house to just crack her like an egg, like a chick hatching, and now, the real her will slowly start hatching into a fine beautiful, loving, still feisty, woman that he so deserves. Her love for money is so very different and not so wrong as the woman from New York, she was just a gold digger for gold diggers sake, her, it was just all about the money and nothing else, and I was glad to see that he saw right through her facade and now I hope he see's through his ex-wife's facade and don't make the wrong decision... :)
