I tried... but it was so boring I dropped it 2 episodes to the end. Full of handsome faces but so plain and nothing interesting happened, and honestly - like friends they all clicked together but when flirting or kissing, it was so arteficial I couldn't watch it any longer. At least BrightMeen had some potential but they wasted it... PlusterNano was an unnecessary couple imo. And the editing was all over the place.
I would rather wait several months for a really good BL than was served with such weak series every other week.
Felt sorry for Tae Gwang. Obviously he was first to like her, to know her secret, to run after her to the orphanage, he was her first kiss even. Han Yi An was slow at everything, he seemed cold to me sometimes, like he didn't care. His only advantage was his long-time friendship with Eun Byul. Eun Bi had better chemistry with Tae Gwang for milion percents.
One of the best K-dramas for sure. I binge-watched it in 2 days, I couldn't help it.
One of the biggest flashlights of this show is Hyun Bin. This was my first time seeing him in any drama/movie and I fell in love. I don't know why but I somehow feel he is very similar to Captain Ri in his real life. Kind and wise and loving. And that beautiful smile... PLUS their baby boy is born on the same day as me :D
okay this was a lot better than I thought it would be (seeing as it’s so short!), but can someone tell me why…
Same here! During that first scene I thought: well, this is going to be crazy hot. After second and third kiss: did they use a whole another actor for the first kiss or what?? If not, we were so robbed of more of his kissing talent :)
Not the most popular opinion (based on some comments I read) but I have mixed feelings. I liked the main idea but the execution was limping. The MLs had great chemistry when bickering and arguing but after getting together the sparkle was gone. Thats a shame because both actors have great potential.
One extra point for Nawin - he was so unexpectedly crazy that he made the show more enjoyable.
Quiet unique idea but it made me feel uneasy. Putting aside that it was low budget (which is not always a bad thing), how they thackeled some serious issues was not the best way. Pulling the gun on people anytime you feel anxious or angry is WRONG. Also tossing it somewhere in the middle of populated area 🤦♀️ I cannot imagine what will be the main plot of S2.
It was half-cooked like that sweet potato imo, just because of the short episodes. It would be much better if they would be longer. Everything else was great, the actors, OST and the plot. The ending was bitter-sweet just as Koreans can do but that is exactly what I like about their BLs.
Their chemistry and interacting - authentic and believable. The "B" word - annoying as hell. The ending - very realistic and adult. Overall - worth of watching.
Isn't it just annoying and disappointing that this is what Thai BLS have reduced itself to? Don't get me wrong...…
Exactly my thoughts about the Thai BLs quality... They are producing them at the speed of light (what I don't dislike) but quality is still winning over the quantity, at least for me.
Proof that storytelling rules. You can’t just shove two cute dudes together with lame dialogue and expect viewers…
You speaking about the dialogue reminded me what bugged me for the whole show. There actually were very minimum meaningful dialogues if any. I felt like they talked about nothing the whole time, even the scene when Uea told King about his past was so shallow. Like the dialogues were written by some 13 yo girl, and not the talented one.
It was cute with some sour sprinkles. After finishing Bed Friend this was what I needed - not a single kiss here but more authentic and enjoyable than the typical Thai exaggeration and affectation.

Highly recommended drama. 10/10
Only one objection - what happened to the goblin after his first kiss?? Did he lost his kissing skills or what...?

For me the storytelling definitelly rules.
