I guess that coming here after watching one Taiwanese BL and rewatching Semantic Error was a mistake. It was lame and cringy compared to them and I fast forwarded most of the scenes (I don't do it usually). I liked the first season but this was really worthless. Lian treated Kuea like a child, with the same silly half-smile on his face through the whole 4 episodes, without any emotions. It was real pain. I couldn't help myself but only thought about the Annabelle doll from S1... Even Nuer lost his spark from season 1! Only 2 scenes caught my attention - when Yi was telling different names and the dog was barking, and when Yi and Lian were working together and almost touched their faces. And btw. - hasn't Syn been already ordained? I definitely remember him talking about beeing ordained at young age in S1. Anyway, I can't even remember when I last watched a really good quality Thai BL that wouldn't make me loose my braincells. I am already fed up with the same tropes - "uke" playing hard to get when "seme" wants to touch or kiss him ("Hiaaaa, what are you doing??"), the slow motions even when eating, looong looks into each others eyes, silly side characters etc. They are still feeding us with the same shiny costumes and beach views and MLs singing... Even the handsome faces can't rescue it. Watching Thai BLs can be sooo frustrating sometimes!!! (Sorry for the grumble here, I mean it in general, but after watching this season it bothered me even more.) 2/10 + 1 extra point for Jay's appearance.
To be fair, Nhai did warn Ai that he annoyed all his previous exes š. Personally, I didn't find Nhai that bad,…
Yes I know he warned him but I thought he is talking about some bad habbits like personal hygiene or dirty clothes everywhere. I know he showed some of his better sides later but... his character was immature still. I couldn't bring myself to think of anything what made Ai love him.
A couple of weeks ago, I still believed that I would never love a Korean BL, but then I watched Semantic Error…
These are exactly my thoughts and impression. I rewatched it just once but definitely will again and again when I'll feel like it. One of the best BLs in general and best Korean one imo.
This was my very first BL ever and it opened me a whole new universe of Asian dramas. Coming back after almost a year and rewatching it and it still felt the same. Still the same excitement, the same electric chemistry between MLs. Althoug it offered just a few kisses, it is more whole and enjoyable than many other BLs full of half-naked guys and s*x scenes. Park Seo Ham is a real hottie and his expressions and body language are captivating as hell. One of the best BLs imo. I'll definitely come back again.
I mostly liked it but:For sure the last 2 episodes were very unnecessary and looooong... Did anybody find annoying…
Oh that showering thing - like 6 times per episode! Everytime I was like "again?" It seemed to me that the writers didn't have enough imagination what else to add to their countless sleeping-together scenes.
First BL I ever dropped! After first 15 minutes. I would probably rather rewatch Check Out or My Sunshine Night or Unforgotten Night than continue watching this! Period.
I finished ep 8 and I have mixed feelings. The MLs are really, like REALLY REALLY handsome (esp. Meen) and I was surprised Ping is only 18. I like their chemistry and the real kisses, I like Ai's dads... but that's probably all. Nhai is sooo childish and annoying, still wanting Ai to buy him food etc. Ai is so caring but Nhai is only taking and not giving back anything. It's so frustrating! I hate such characters in general, I am more into adults actually acting like ADULTS. Wondering when the creators will stop feeding us with this annoying trope. Overall I'll watch it till the end just because of Meen. Hopefully he will not stay only by playing basketball and will please us in some better written series in the future. He deserves the chance to better show his acting skills (OK, let's give Ping a chance too :) ).
One of the best BLs of 2022 for me. Not 100% perfect of course but I enjoyed it very much. Came for BillySeng but I loved ToruFirst the most (I liked them in Y-Destiny as well and they didn't dissapoint me). Their chemistry is one of the best in Thai BL industry.
Iāve got mixed feelings at best. Iād love if someone could tell me if Bai Lang isnāt as immature as in the…
I wouldn't say he is immature. If you keep watching you will realise why he is acting like that at the begining. I personally liked it very much, not too much drama, but very sweet and maybe a little bit healing.
Just finised this and I must say it was worth my time. Beautiful story about how love and finding your soulmate can heal your heart and make you whole. And I realised what I like about Taiwanese so much - their acting is very natural and makes their series look more like "real life". Without the unnecessary affectation which I don't like in some Thai BLs for example. Recommend.
I liked it actually. Yes the last 2 episodes were not about the romance but... never mind, it's life. Not every BL has to be just romance/kissing/hot scenes. I bingewatched it so maybe that's why it was not boring for me. I really liked the MLs' chemistry, I liked them already in 7 Project. They are very natural together, I liked how Santa was always touchy - still reaching for Earth, touching his hair etc. This is how one expresses his love and care for the other imo (maybe it's because I am also that kind of person with my beloved one). Hope they will get another project, I find Santa very talented despite his young age.
What dialogue? :DSomewhere in the middle of the series I realised how many encounters did Sun and Kim have but…
Oh I get it. However it was just a general question, cause I think their conversations are nonproductive and trivial. And it stays like this for the whole show sadly.
I finished one episode and the dialogue is already killing me! Aiming right between the eyes.
What dialogue? :D Somewhere in the middle of the series I realised how many encounters did Sun and Kim have but they practically didn't talk about anything. Just starring and thanking each other time to time.
