Its sad but I actually didnt like any of the characters. Everyone for a different reason... Also there was no chemistry between MLs, I had to skip their lovey dovey scenes bcs they were cringy like hell. It had so much potential but failed... I only watched it bcs I was curious about the ending. Guess what - disappointing.
Achi's character is like this. even in Japanese version and the anime he is always shy and somehow emotionless
I haven't read the manga, only watched the OG few years ago. But I get what you meant, and I admitted that I liked the OG despite the lack of skinship. It had its own qualities. But considering how Thais usually like to exaggerate the characters' portraying in BLs, I assume Achi's character was not meant to copy Adachi's. That's just their way of putting one ML on the ever-shy side, which annoys me, mostly in dramas with all-adults. But that's only my POV 😉
Your first point, I get it... I was also scared that they were going to change or mess up Adachi's character because…
I am thankful for any comment, yours included 😉 That's why this section exists, right? I am more than glad someone finds my thoughts interesting even slightly, so you are welcome. I hope you enjoyed the show, if you've already watched till the end.
Good idea, production and also the cast, but everything else was weak. Watch only if you have some spare time and nothing else on your must-watch list.
I have to point out how Myung Ha tackled the bully with bleached hair - first on the roof top and then with the kiss. It was hillarious 😆 Maybe the most original way of getting rid of a bully I've seen in any drama.
Agghh how I hate to go against the grain... but, even when this wasn't bad, and it was an original idea, for me…
Absolutely agree with everything you wrote 👏 I liked it but it felt all over the place so many times. If some parts were more consistent or just not so damn foggy and left to viewer's imagination, it could be more enjoyable yet still considered mysterious.

Thank you for your POV ❤️
I am also not comparing this to Japanese version - first because I watched it few years ago and my memory tends to miss some parts after some time 😅 But I clearly remember feelings each drama gave me while watching it and I remember how Adashi's and Kurosawa's love overwhelmed me even with the lack of skinship. After years of watching BLs I came to understand that Thais are different in many aspects and can't be compared to Japanese or Taiwanese at all. Nevertheless I cannot stop myself from rambling here and there when I feel like it's appropriate. 😅
First I have to say that it was more gay I thought it will be, considering the censorship. Those subtle hints of their love and relationship scattered through the later episodes were like little gems and melted my heart for them even more. I am thankful for this adaptation, I loved it even more than the original one. Little bit different than the novel but the message and its execution was present and beautifully done. Hatts off to actors and creators and lets hope for the S2.
Positives for me: great production value, meaningful conversations, kept me interested till the end.
Negatives: - It was hard to believe Achi really loves Karan. I don't know if it is just New's way of playing his roles or this was the director's idea how to portrait Achi. But for me there was maybe only one scene I felt his love for Karan. Even during their most significant moments (I don't want to spoil them so I won't be specific) New was playing shy and made me roll my eyes many times. On the other hand Tay did great, his portraying was believable. - The same problem with the second pair - Jinta was too hillarious and Min was too carefree. Their relationship was way too unnatural and I lost interest in them with the last episodes. - The whole show was "too rom-com" imo. I would prefer more realistic portraying of love of two adults in their 30-ties. I can't imagine relationship like this in real life - barely holding hands or lying in bed 1 meter apart. It would be even more better with the right amount of skinship (at least more natural touches or more kisses). That won't make me feel like I am 16 years old target audience.
Overall I would recommend this if you are TayNew fan or you want to watch something heartwarming, light and with good production quality.
Not bad. I always liked Fluke. What was my only problem was Krist. I really tried but couldn't get to like him. I think it was not how Kawi's character was written. If it was played by some other actor I won't have any major problem with Kawi - at least there is an improvement in his character. But Krist playing him was not the right step imo. I still remember him from Sotus and although I was not thrilled watching it, that role suited him better. Here I would prefer someone more cute (I couldn't get Pisaeng calling Kawi cute bc Krist is not imo. Yes, he is handsome but cute...?).
But I watched it till the end and overall it was not bad. Fluke is a sweetheart and I won't skip any series wit him, no matter his co-star.
This was one beautiful story. It made me cry, it made me think and it made me sure that some ideals I live according to are probably right.
Wang was a clever and brave boy, and more mature than those so-called adults around him. I loved all the dialogues, they were meaningful and on spot. How Wang first learned from In, but most importantly what In learned from Wang. Sadly he stayed the same cowardly and lonely whale he still was.
One of the best BLs I've ever seen and I wish for more stories like this. I am sure I won't forget this gem that easily.
Surprisingly I liked it. I wasn't awaiting much but was pleased at the end. Especially young Ongsa was excellent. It had its flaws but the main idea still remains - real love can fight even against the time itself.

Anyway enjoy the drama, it was worth watching 👍

(Chris Chiu is one charismatic man, I loved him here. And seeing Sam Lin was like a cherry on top!)
