Defending Yoojung? I feel his biggest flaw (and we all have them right? :P) is that he remains silent as a defense…
I agree with all of you here. I think that's what makes Jung's character so fascinating is the ambiguity of his character, just when we are on the verge of thinking he is just a misunderstood character then the small things he does seem to make you think about why everyone in his life seems to say the same thing about him and his "true colors". And like a see-saw the more we get to know him... his manipulative demeanor being balanced out by utter sweetness and quiet acts of kindness, just to realize how shady he is in hidden ways. Like @Kachiiing said, I will be so disappointed if ultimately he is nothing more than a misunderstood character with a "heart of gold" because he doesn't like to explain himself.
Seeing how the case with Jin Woo's dad wrapped up, with his dad never even getting a fair chance of treatment…
I get that he had a lot going on at that time, but just felt like it was a wasted opportunity not so much on Jin Woo's part but in the case or conflict of events itself, considering that is a sign or evidence for memory loss even before the crime happened. However all the odds stacked against them from the beginning was where the drama wanted to go, so I suppose which is why it all worked out that way.
He's my new obsession!! I need him in a main role!!!
He is going to be the 14th prince in Moon Lovers the adaptation to Scarlet Heart. Which in the original (if they're going to stay true to it) 14th prince is one of the mains and just pure awesomeness
Wow this is so goood much better than I expected and it's all thanks to a solid cast with really good natural chemistry with one another. Better yet the acting is so natural and honest without any overacting or that they are posing/acting for the camera which leads from Kdramas are often guilty of and you don't realize it until you see something like this for a change. Which makes it all seem so real and believable. I love all three main characters and totally shipping JungxSul even tho i expect In Ho has all the potential to induce the infamous Second Lead Syndrome for a lot of ppl (don't blame them as his character is pure awesomeness) while Jung is just intriguing and mysterious. On the Jung ship but In Ho is the type of friend I'd kill to have
Seeing how the case with Jin Woo's dad wrapped up, with his dad never even getting a fair chance of treatment for his disease due to perjury and false evidence against him I thought I'd say this. Remember how Jin Woo's dad bought him duplicates of the same cellphone in the beginning, which was pointed out by the sales associate he always bought from and of course dad doesn't even recall buying them as his disease was just beginning to kick in then. How come that was never brought up during the initial trial or retrial process? Or even used as an evidence of memory loss. I feel like the sales associate could've served some kind of testimony as proof vouching for dad's memory loss. And Jin Woo clearly knows something was wrong at that point when he opened up the closet and all those duplicate cellphones came spilling out. Maybe that is one of those subplots or things that get dropped with the live shoot sometimes...
I have a feeling Park Dongho will die at the end. Also, Nam Goong Min is so good at playing psycho seriously he's…
Nam Goong Min is amazing as the psychopath villain. He is so calm and collected with those subtle expressions then BAM anger management issues that just leaves everyone around him cold. And you're not the only one who feels that way about Dongho, sadly the twists and turns of this character as well as inner conflicts seems to set up a heroic death as being redemption point for him :(
I need a summary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Yes but they were in a marriage with no love, she never loved him back once. So I guess that's why she proceeded with her fling with him, which didn't even last past a few eps before she moved on lol.
Lee Joon Gi is going to be AMAZING. He has the best character from Scarlet Heart, which is the oh so complex yet intense 4th prince, then there is IU as Ruoxi who will thaw her way into his ice cold heart. I am so interested to see how this will play out ! There is no doubt in my mind that LJG will do 4th prince every bit of justice, but IU will have some shoes to fill as Ruoxi (and a pretty big role for her too). The next character to watch out for after these two (and also my favorite) is 14th prince who will be played by Ji Soo. Haven't seen him act before so hopefully he does well ! Lin Gengxin as 14th prince in the original absolutely stole my heart
Even though many people like me probably cant ever get past the element of adultery, that is not the point of this drama. And the acting from the leads is the reason why that message was conveyed so well. The acting really cannot get any better from two artists who always try to offer something new and meaningful, by portraying two souls who bond over the love for another form of art that is music. It is truly one of the most riveting and deep Kdramas, the whole SA team (especially Yoo Ah In & Kim Hee Ae ) should give themselves more than a pat on the back for job well done
Definitely surprised with the negative comments as this is easily one of the best Korean dramas I've ever seen.…
How people cannot see YSH pouring his all into this role is beyond me. You can tell he had a lot to give (he even said so himself) after his military service. Glad you feel the same !!
I am really happy that he's already got military over and done with. Because now we can watch him dedicate the following years giving us all he's got & best from him has still yet to come! He is seriously talented and still so young. I would consider him the best actor for his age, if not one of the best young actors out there.
Definitely surprised with the negative comments as this is easily one of the best Korean dramas I've ever seen. The acting, cast, story etc is on point and I like that there's substantial something to offer, not just eye candy or cutesy love moments which you can get in any other Kdrama (no offense to anybody as I love them too!). But turns out most of the negativity is about how sad the drama is, which few other people already pointed out is that this genre is clearly a MELODRAMA, so if you don't like where the story is headed simply get out as it's been made clear it ain't gonna be rainbows and butterflies. However if it about other things such as the writing then I do agree that the writing has slightly faltered somewhat, with some plotholes that are too obvious to ignore. Really hope the writers get their shit together fast, considering how strong it was in the beginning I don't want this to end up in the graveyard of dramas that started off well just to completely hit the gutter after. Hopefully the writers has something grand planned ahead to make sense of some of the developments.
I have to say of all the great acting there is in this drama (and the entire cast can really act) I am most impressed with Yoo Seung Ho. Not only because he is still a baby, which I tend to forget when I watch him in this drama with the maturity he carries for his character. But how he manages to make our hearts stop everytime he cries and his heartfelt interactions with his dad is something. I am not one to be moved with just a sad story if it is thrown at me, but YSH has me convinced every bit practically leaving me in tears every other episode.
Does Min Ha Ri end up with anyone? She is my favorite character so far, along with Kim Shin Hyuk... I don't care…
warning spoiler ............you can still change your mind at this point.....as it will break your heart.....to find out that neither Ha Ri nor Shin Hyuk end up with anyone :( I agree that they're far more interesting than the leads. But I adore them still !!!
Awww I love Park Min Young she's too adorable and she doesn't just find good scripts/dramas but she's also a reason why the dramas she's in are so good !
"My tooth hurts" means "I love you." Yue Qui Luo refuse to say "I love you" to Zhang…
I did not feel sorry for that couple at all. Not because Yue Qi Lou is the devil but imo his love for her seemed to be out of "fear" the way I saw it. And of course what he does to his many wives for her was beyond animal. He was like her dog.
This is so heartbreaking yet intense. The first few episodes basically dried up my tear bank... but just when I thought I have no more left to spare :'( my heart will be broken beyond repair if Jin Woo & co. don't get a happy ending after all that they've put audiences through !! goddamn onions everywhere
Nam Gung Min is the standout so far and just oozing charisma. Did I mention that being ridiculously hot doesn't help either? Yoo Seung Ho has all the potential to be a great actor, and he's already doing really well !! Two episodes in, and can't get enough already. Never have I cried so much after only first two episodes !!! Great story !
