i think jung isn't really that bad, I'm thinking they won't explain it till the end that he is good after all.…
Korea has it bad with bullying but more so in ways that is more socioeconomically based, all those chaebols and mothers thinking the poor girl/guy never good enough for their kid you see in K-dramas are actually onto something XD But ya Japan has it worse in terms of the bullying cause of LOOKS and employment-related. Japan has the highest suicide rate in Asia, if not the world.
That Jung kiss when he was drunk ... can't be the only one whose heart skipped a beat there. And again when he…
Honestly that is why I ship these two, their chemistry together just makes your heart twirl off the charts. While her and In Ho's chemistry I just can't get past that of siblings the more I watch them. Park Hae Jin also looks like he is a good kisser and nothing is more sexy about a guy than that !!
That Jung kiss when he was drunk ... can't be the only one whose heart skipped a beat there. And again when he kissed her to prove he wasn't only doing that last time because he was drunk.
I wish the script writers would focus more on his dark side and turn it into a sociopathic issue. That'd make…
And I thought I was one of the few that is hoping Jung turns out to be exactly that: a sociopath since he pretty much meets all the qualities of one ! (intelligent, manipulative, charming, lack of sympathy and conscience etc) Hey sociopaths need love too !!
I hope writers decide to give in ha amnesia or a coma or any cliche drama thing so she gets less screen time.
In Ha definitely gets on our nerves but I wouldn't write her off yet. Based on preview for next episode and what's been hinted at so far I feel like we will find out even more about Jung through the Baek siblings. Seems like In Ha at one point was very different than the gold-digging lazy leech she is now. Anyway based on how she is atm def won't be missing her at all if that happened lol
By the way any Scarlet Heart fans here notice that 9th prince has been skipped out here ? His role wasn't particularly big but I mean his connections to the story was significant in other ways. And then there is a character noted as 13th prince's childhood sweetheart I wonder if she is going to be Lu Wu ?
TBH really Gwangjong of Goryeo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangjong_of_Goryeo) had so many sons? Can't find…
Nope all the sons/princes in Moon Lovers are all fictional/made up for this Korean version as ancient Korean dynasties or kings never had as many princes as Chinese emperors did. The original version Scarlet Heart which was Chinese, had all these princes as Emperor Kangxi DID have that many sons, making them all real people
He is so cute as Eun Taek!!! While everybody is going crazy over Jung and In Ho in CIIT (me included !!) I never fail to notice how adorable he is especially with Bo Ra :) AND he's going to be the 13th prince in the Korean version of my favorite Chinese drama !! 13th prince is like the perfect boyfriend who is also your best friend because he is optimistic, loyal, fun and wishes for a better world ...ahhh @___@
Why do i feel like theyre planning to make us fall in love with jungxsul ship then theyll make the major twist…
And then Jung takes an even darker turn after thief said that, as if he hit a sensitive chord right where it hurts but of course you can't tell because he was so calm and expressionless throughout the whole thing. I realllly hope that is not the case, I ship Jung and Seol too much that it will actually break my heart if this was the case :( (Love In Ho too but more like a friend for Seol)
Every Episode it gets better i can't take this!!! Seol was too cute when she grabbed Yoojung's hands ....and his…
I don't think I've ever rooted this hard for a main couple to stay together where the only thing certain is that nothing is certain here!! If you know what I mean ! Crazy Jung and his Seol makes my heart flutter !!

The latest episode 7 reminded me of this for some reason. Thief tells Jung " People like you are going to end up lonely, that girl is going to leave you one day" omg what?? is this a foreshadow??
And I'm so curious as to what Jung sees in Seol! That flashback scene seems to suggest only when the change of…
Just watched the latest episode and I immediately thought of this whole discussion here! The part where Jung beats up the thief and then the thief questions Jung whether what Seol would think if she realizes what he's really like. Then Jung says: "She is just like me" . I wonder if we're all on to something here about Seol :O With all the focus on Jung there has been less questions about Seol but now it's got me thinking even more !
Wahoo caught up with this drama....that preview for episode 7 *squeee* cant wait!!! ❤ also, as much as I love…
While I'm still shipping Jung and Seol, I love In Ho's character and what he brings. He appears rough and unapproachable on surface but he's actually very sweet and can do no wrong, opposite of Jung in a way. What you see from him is what you get makes him the only main character truly transparent. Whereas Jung doesn't care for people unless he is involved with them, In Ho will help out a stranger (Seol's blind date gone wrong )
Defending Yoojung? I feel his biggest flaw (and we all have them right? :P) is that he remains silent as a defense…
@biniBningPunkista okay you are just adding more to my anticipation here and I already feel like I am ready to jump out of my skin waiting for the dreaded next episode !!
I have a feeling you are confirming in a way but without spoiling anything, our darkest wishes that Jung isn't simply "misunderstood" That "misunderstood character" thing is predictable, done one too many times and would take away the intrigue of a fascinating character that is Jung, so let's hope !

Agreed I love a good discussion ! I definitely feel like this drama has potential to be one that makes more sense with rewatching, but nothing wrong with that as some of the best movies and stories in the past have worked out to be that way:)
Like you pointed out Seol's point of view might appear to us her intentions clear as we get access to her conscious thoughts but also limited or biased perception in other ways. It really would be cool though if that was used to "hide" some elements of Seol that the audience will only eventually find out more about
For the most part, I am really just going out on a limb here with a few observations from a handful of scenes though not per se. And not necessarily something doubtful or dark about Seol, but perhaps Jung-like tendencies ? Or similarities is the better way to put it. Another instance that I don't wish to overlook was after the failed presentation, the professor pointed out that as well as she can do, she can't just give up on others like that. Very subtle but seems to me something about Seol even she doesn't realize yet so to speak. And others comment how similar they are .. Joo Yeon, and then Jung's friend in that flashback scene where they overheard Seol's group

@TurkishRose Just another reason why I am so hooked to this series is because it leaves us all throwing our best guesses around but all we can really do is wait and see XD It may be bit of a stretch here but I feel like Jung's intuition towards Seol might actually even tell us something about Seol we don't know or even herself knows. Maybe If you can recall that first impression bar scene when he was thinking about it in ep 4? (I think), he was questioning why she smirked and hinted in a way she is actually similar to him. I get that her initial distaste of him has more to do with all the times she misunderstood him and thinking how manipulative he was - first impression included. But on his end it was more so from the first impression which he had no reason to dislike her for really. You know how how they say we tend to dislike people who remind us of ourselves.
Seol is also making fast progress as someone who doesn't just "take it" anymore when people walk over her, and boy can she bite back hard. That even Joo Yeon commented how she is just like Jung, from her reaction following JY's confession of her part in that homeless guy attack. Nothing is quite predictable here, and I applaud the leads' great acting to not give anything away here!
And I'm so curious as to what Jung sees in Seol! That flashback scene seems to suggest only when the change of heart started, when Seol asked him. But I feel like it has way more to that. The whole rich guy with everything and poor girl who works hard seems like a characterization and even used as a "ploy" to get us to believe it is an opposites attract thing, but I don't think that's it to his interest in her. It might even go as far back as their first "encounter" when she got caught noticing how he smoothly played everything off as an accident (when he spilled beer on Joo Yeon to get her off him), seeing through him. From then on, he's been on her case. That bar scene clearly also stuck with him in a sense that is more than just a flashback or first impression. Ugh the suspense !! Love this drama !!!
