I really hope this time they invite more idols thoo or more entertainer, i think last season the entertaining…
As a massive fan of Seventeen, I don't think Seungkwan (or any idol) is suited for this kind of show where the entire thing is based on intelligence to survive. Idols would do better in more variety type shows or even sporty types, but the games in The Devil's Plan require a lot more smarts than typical games. It would be better if they focused less on entertainer-style casts and instead cast more high-intelligence players that can problem solve well.
I understand your point but I want to argue that connections among players was also part of the game. Dongjae…
Just imagine how much more interesting the upcoming games would have been if the smarter players actually survived :( The first few games should have been individual-based to eliminate the weaker players imo
As other viewers have pointed out, this drama feels like it was written years ago but adjusted to fit recent times.…
The one thing I have mixed feelings about is the ML secretly putting a tracker on the FL's phone. I know the reason is that her safety is possibly compromised but idk he barely knew the girl before doing it. Letting her know or asking her to do it would have been better. Another thing I think a modern kdrama writer may not have done, especially since it's the ML.
But the first thing I thought of immediately after he did that is a future scene of him trying to find Mijin, only to see that her location is right beside him, in the prosecutor's office. Or something similar where he sees Im Sun where Lee Mijin should be. I have a feeling that tracker will be how he finds out that both of them are the same person.
As other viewers have pointed out, this drama feels like it was written years ago but adjusted to fit recent times. Just overall feel of the drama. Compared to other recent releases, the writing feels older. But I'm not complaining, I'm enjoying this drama a lot.
I wish they had somehow linked back Gwijoo & Dahae's first meeting on the beach in the later episodes to really wrap things up and make everything feel full circle like with the time traveling and stuff. Also why was Dahae wearing a suit on the beach?
Can someone explain the relationship between the king, Wanning, and Lord Cheng? They keep saying Lord Cheng is Wanning's brother but I thought the king was also Wanning's brother, is he not?
It was wholesome but we got clowned no new couple 😂
Yoonha & Yoonjae are still together. They may not have filmed a reaction video together but they are still posting each other on their Instagram accounts, that says it all
Kinda unsatisfying for Deukpal to have properly introduced himself to Sekyung and his gang friends only to continue living in Yihyun's body. The perfect ending would have been for Yihyun to return. After all, he was a bullied kid that had so many problems in his life, it makes sense that after those problems get fixed he returns because he actually has a shot at life now. Deukpal had already lived a long life, it was time for him to leave.
Did anyone else notice in the last episode how we got to see a little about Juyeon's inner turmoil, and her thinking there's something wrong with her to always get rejected, and she gets comforted by everyone except her brother? That just felt so wrong to me. The fact that she went up to people she just met 3 weeks ago to ask if she had any red flags instead of confiding in her brother who also supposedly acted as her father figure too, like …? Clearly this is something she has been struggling with for a while despite her cheerful exterior because she mentioned how she keeps getting rejected by the people she likes. Even Jaehyung noticed that self-doubt after the Truth Game and sought her out the next day to reaffirm AGAIN that there's nothing wrong with her. But her own brother, who was sat beside her as she asked that question, did nothing? Was he that preoccupied with letting everyone know about him and Jiwon?
Clearly an unpopular opinion here but I think the finale episode wrapped things up well. Kudos to the editors because I was either smiling my cheeks off or crying for the majority of the episode. Even if a certain endgame couple was not what I wanted, I am going to focus on the parts that I enjoyed. For a show that started getting quite messy the last few episodes, this finale really brought it back together and reminded me why I loved this dating show so much, especially through the moments of pure and lovely friendship among the cast, which we were kind of lacking recently. It was nice seeing the siblings bond, and some even got closer through this, and I am so happy for them. I wish the best for 9/10 of them, the other I will leave no comment but I am not going to ruthlessly hate either. Will absolutely be tuning in to a s2 if it ever happens.
