How is this a plot hole? He rewatched the movie in the past because Dahae told him to do so instead of searching it up and this gave him the chance to revisit a memory of his friends that he previously couldn't because of his depression. Choosing any random moment in the past doesn't give Dahae a good timeframe to stage the accident, he could have reappeared in 5 minutes and ruined the whole thing, so disappearing for a whole movie length helped her. She herself was the one who told him to revisit the memory instead of searching it up, so that's why he was okay with leaving her alone. It's not like he knew an accident was going to happen or that he had limited time with her, so he had nothing to be cautious about. He just happily listened to his lover.

Ik dramas or stories in general will never do this but it's so frustrating that he didn't try harder to explain to his gangmates that he switched bodies. Like say a secret only Deukpal or the gang would know. Or talk about memories they had together.

The hate is absolutely unnecessary. These are real people that are seeing this hate when the truth is nobody except them 10 know how certain events unrolled outside the edited footage we are shown.

You are for the most part right but then you go ahead and assume things about the participants like JH & CA when in reality you nor any of us viewers know them and should stop assuming we know why they behave in certain ways.

Dahae told him to rewatch the movie in the past to win their bet, so I assume the part they were betting over was at the end of the movie. That gave them around 1 and a half to 2 hours to pull the stunt. Also I suggest you mark your comment as a spoiler

Idk if everyone's thinking this but i'm pretty sure Gwijoo won't die. The mother saying that his funeral had an empty casket pretty much proved it for me. That itself provides some type of possibility for him to actually still be alive. Maybe he's stuck in his memories and can't get out for some reason, and we get the typical time skip, everyone moves on, until he finds a way out. Or another fake death scenario, but I doubt that will happen because Dahae just pulled one. Either way, I believe the dream is the type where she only saw a glimpse and not the whole picture, which may be completely different. He will live.

Agreed, I just think the idea of having two people that look identical in a dating show isn't very ideal for the other participants bc having someone they can easily identify would make it easier for them to connect with

I'm with you lol, I mainly just watch dating shows for the friendships & connections more than the romance because the romance tends to disappoint at one point.

You don't know her. Sure, she behaved weirdly in their recent date, but to take that and insult everything she's done since she entered the show? She's not a fictional character where you think you know everything about them. You talk about the times she's 'belittled' her brother, but won't mention the times when he's done it back? You don't know the relationship between them just from a couple hours of edited footage.

I'm kinda confused/curious about Grace. We don't have any info about her backstory, was she born into that family or was she recruited like Dahae? Dahae exposing the truth about the scammer lady's biological child just made me more confused, because we know she had a real daughter that died and she's trying to project that onto Dahae, but why wouldn't she do that to Grace?

i think it was the first time i felt ambivalent about a MSR episode. It was just 3hrs of seeing everyone in a down mood. I can't even say I'm rooting for anyone anymore bc something wrong will immediately happen I just hope they all remain good friends by the end of it

I'm new to Chinese dating shows (or Chinese reality shows in general) and I'm really enjoying this but I'm noticing a couple differences compared to Korean dating shows, if anyone could clarify that would be great.
1. I noticed that the participants never go on their phones and only do to receive notifications about dates and messages. Which is weird because in this typical day and age every youth goes on their phones, especially when they're bored. I'm wondering if there is a rule not to go on your phone? So that they focus on bonding more?
2. I noticed that they barely show participants being in their rooms and such, especially night time. Maybe there is a camera cutoff time where they only film between certain hours so the participants get a break. I'm just used to Korean dating shows where they even show moments at 4am in the morning if the participants are staying up drinking and talking.
3. Chinese dating shows (or maybe just this one) don't have the interviews where you can ask the participants directly how they were feeling at a certain moment. At first I thought this might be a barrier to us understanding how the participants feel but surprisingly the editing of picking up subtle glances & emotions does the talking for us, which is a pleasant surprise. I keep getting shocked at how even bystanders easily pickup the romance/crushes happening before them.

I'm emphasizing about new couples because in the last 3 seasons there has only been 1 new couple that has lasted compared to multiple ex couples. My entire point is that I want more new couples for the show to have more of a balance, because like I mentioned, the point of the show is for BOTH type of couples to form. And if the majority is ex couples what does that mean? We need more new couples. And how do we do that? Cast a better variety of ex couples instead of having the majority be hung up on their ex. I have no problem with exes getting back together since that is part of the show's concept I just want new couples ALONG with that. Try actually understanding what I'm saying before you twist my words

Yes I am not satisfied with only the ex couples lasting and I do want more lasting new couples. But your comment implies that I am criticizing the participants for their choices when I am not, I am criticizing the casting director. Which I very clearly clarified in my response to you. Are you purposefully ignoring the last 2 paragraphs or what?

No one said they're not allowed to go back to their exes? I think you misread my comment, I am in no way criticizing the participants for the choices they made.

I am simply speaking from a casting/viewer perspective. The whole point of Transit Love is that you choose between rekindling the love with your ex or starting anew with someone else. But if the majority of the couples that are casted are all hung up on their ex, it doesn't give much of an opportunity for new relationships to form. They should've had a more balanced ratio of ex couples that are hung up on their relationship vs ex couples that have mainly healed and are looking for something new.

Because in the end, this is a show. You have to think about how the viewers would take it. They put 5/6 couples that are hung up on their relationship and what did we see? Endless arguing that never seemed to find a solution for countless episodes. The whole reason why Transit Love s2 became so popular is Because a new lasting couple formed. And that was only possible because one had entirely moved on from his ex. So following that, the PD or whoever chose the ex couples for the next season should have naturally casted a good balance.
