I think Jiwon is one of the best participants to come out of a show like this. She was a great 'catfish', I'm pretty sure she's the only one out of the women to have all male participants catch feelings for her at some point.
Outside that, she's a very lovely, caring person in general. She seems quite close with Seseung & Yunha, and if she's a girl's girl there's not much else to doubt. Also after finding someone she's actually interested in, she very clearly addressed that to Cheolhyun, even explicitly saying Jaehyung's name.
She might have a couple walls in her heart & struggle to outwardly display affection to people but it's clear she cares and shows that in different ways. She is one of my favourite participants I have seen out of the many reality shows I've watched.
Jaehyung comparing his attraction to Jiwon to the rain was so beautiful omg. I am eating up all the JaeJi scenes they are way too cute idc what doubts others have. I probably rewatched that scene of them talking in that corner outside like 10 times, I am soo their fan.
It's nice that Jaehyung and Choa have built a strong friendship through that one date, it's definitely good to have a friend to talk to & confide in who isn't your sibling because there's only so much you can say to your sibling. Other perspectives help too. I like their friendship a lot, plus this way Choa can feel a little less lonely since she mainly only talked to Cheolhyun & Yoongwoo due to her work schedule, and now she's lost Yongwoo.
I'm not very sure about 2Yoon anymore. Yoonha may have just been staying with Yoonjae because no one else chose her, not because she had big feelings. You can tell Yoonjae's trying to be strong about it but if I was in his place and put so much effort into caring for someone just for them to pick someone else after one date, I would feel so heartbroken. It's just sad that Yoonha didn't really notice his obvious mood change and hasn't tried to approach him (yet). If her feelings have changed it's not her fault I just hope she can effectively communicate that to Yoonjae.
Also the way the panelists were reacting to Yongwoo's very confusing talk to Choa just reminded me of how the panelists reacted to Gwanhee in Single's Inferno 3 lol. You know it's bad when even the panelists are getting frustrated.
Is anyone else kinda unnerved by the grandfather? He's always calm and smiling, acting more like a butler/caretaker to his wife and a warm presence to his children & Ina. In any other drama this may be fine but Dahae also had a similar exterior in the first episode before we found out her true personality & motivations. Everyone else is written realistically with flaws to their personality, so I doubt he would be exempt to it. We did have that one scene of him possibly cheating on his wife with that lady in the club but they haven't done anything with that opening in his character since. I have a feeling he'll have a bigger role in the story in the upcoming episodes.
1. Dong Hee is losing weight the right way. Good thing she owns a gym. Although her fat seems to be melting off…
I don't think he's trying to patch things up with Ina solely to return to the memory. He has been trying to connect with her for a while, just his depression stopped him from putting a lot of effort in.
I don't understand why he was so determined to marry her all of a sudden? Why the rush? I'm pretty sure he's not…
I think it's the prospect that she affects his powers differently so he believes that through her, he can finally save someone. We can see the way before his wife died, he was constantly returning to the time of Ina's birth to the fire event because he wanted to save someone, so much that it began to ruin his relationship with his wife. There's a huge part of him that desperately wants to save people, so after finding out that he can finally do that with Dahae, he doesn't want to let her go.
I was rewatching the JaeJi scenes and noticed that when they were getting off the taxi and arriving home, Yongwoo was sitting in that bench outside and they greeted him while going up the stairs. We then see the pair say a few cute comments before they're both upstairs walking into the living area and there Yongwoo is, laying back on the sofa like he never left. That honestly left me so confused because from the clips it looks like JaeJi went straight up to the living area but there must have been a lot of time cuts since Yongwoo clearly had the time to go from the ground to comfortably sitting on the sofa like he was always there. Threw me off but I guess there's a lot of time that we don't see lol.
Don't tell me snowflakes rated this show low because of the ML :|I'm surprised to see a lot of positive comments…
Unpopular opinion maybe but I still like the ML as an actor, what he did (or lack of it) is pretty upsetting but there are literal r@pists and racists walking around in the industry without a care in the world, his scandal isn't much compared to them.
was great from ep 1-4, after that it was full violence. which is realistic considering what #8 and #6 are like, but i would've preferred a different creative direction. the violence ruined the drama for me tbh
Today's episode was so good! A massive treat for us Jaehyung x Jiwon shippers, I was smiling so much, replaying all their tiny moments. I did have a couple doubts since it looks like Jaehyung likes her a lot more than she likes him, but it's good that she was able to verbalize even with Cheolhyun that JH is the type of guy she's looking for. She also wanted to chose him for her extra date as the losing team. I think my favourite moment was just them talking while in Jiwon's room about her date with Jungsub, idk i like that clingly side of Jaehyung lol. He kept finding himself in her room. My ghost ship CH X SS finally has a chance to sail too yay. The preview gives off rhe feeling that it doesn't turn into anything romantic but I still have my hopes.
It's also nice that they got the opportunity to go on new dates and even have something to fight for with the competitions. I know a lot of people were complaining about how things were becoming stagnant & everyone was going on dates with the same people. Personally I didn't mind as much, I know this dating show is a lot calmer than other ones and focus more on who the participants actually want to date, but it's nice to see some switch up.
The preview also kinda rubbed me off wrong about the way Yongwoo suddenly seems really into Yunha after one date. This is definitely very biased on my part but it felt like he was jumping for the opportunity to find another woman other than Choa. Hoping Yoonjae x Yoonha stay strong though. I feel bad for Choa since she really is walking on eggshells around Yongwoo and he may only be her 'final choice' because she hasn't connected with anyone else. And she would probably feel insecure about it too because she knows Yongwoo would feel uncomfortable. As much as I want her to have something with someone else like JH, my heart is still with him and Jiwon 😠I'm so sad seeing her overthink her actions with Yongwoo when all she was doing was looking for a real connection :(
This episode was really worth the week wait. I think I'm going to rewatch a lot of it while waiting for the next one.
Dropped this at like ep 15/16 because the constant arguments were so unproductive it was exhausting to just watch the same thing over and over again. Finally skipped to the last episode today because I had nothing else to watch lol and to get some closure for myself since I had been following this show for like 15 weeks. Even though we got 3 final pairings, it's a shame the only ones that lasted were ex couples. That's probably why s2 still remains the best, of course it's nice for exes to get back together, but there's something more exciting to see when people learn to finally let go of past relationships and genuinely move on to another one. Haeeun and Hyungyu did that beautifully. In this season it's obvious the majority of participants were still hung up on their exes, which didn't give much of an opportunity for new relationships to form.
