genuinely one of the weirdest parts of this drama so far.. does anyone have an explanation for this? maybe some…
yeah, in the webtoon his gf broke up with him and married someone else before he killed himself because he was more of a trashy character. i think the adaptation just did that to give the ml a reason to break up with her.
ngl ML's supposed 'sob' backstory was poorly executed. it did not do anything to me
funny because in the webtoon, he's not supposed to have a 'sob' backstory. he's lazy after getting rejected from jobs for 2 years, he didnt even have that weird car accident scene that made him fail the first interview. his gf had given up and left him and married someone else. so he just carelessly decided to kill himself, which obviously pissed Death off. i feel like him having a better character here clashes with the reason Death got mad at him in the first place
As a huge fan of the webtoon, I don't really like the changes they made to the drama as I feel it takes away the reason this all happened to the main character in the first place, but they aren't major changes and I get why they did it. For an adaptation I am enjoying it a lot.
There is no good and evil in this drama...Iam just seeing a bunch of students put into a situation where they…
I would initially agree to this how both sides are just trying to survive but after this week's episodes it's revealed that the whole game is revolved around their dead classmate Park Seeun and how all the mafias were somehow involved with her death. That no longer makes the mafias randomly chosen to kill anymore, they were made mafia BECAUSE of their involvement with Seeun's death.
I don’t agree with your statement. She is having a real hard time with the way things now work. They tell her…
Agreed, I think showing the viewers every one of their struggles in the modern world would become really annoying really fast. They showed plenty when Yeonwoo was originally adjusting and at this point we are moving on to the next point of the drama, her fulfilling her dream in this era, developing her relationship with Taeha, and discovering/breaking the unfortunate fate she continually has with Taeha. And we still get her occasional commentary of modern day vs Joseon anyway, it's plenty for a romcom.
I tried watching the drama out of curiosity , not knowing what it is about, who the actors are, only started bcs…
Bae Inhyuk and Yoo Seonho have actually played as brothers before! They were in the drama 'Under the Queen's Umbrella' together and although they don't have many scenes together or even individually it's a really great drama, I recommend.
i can't believe this drama swooped in the last months of the year and immediately became on of my favourites ever ever im so obsessed with this couple im making edits and rewatching all their scenes to help the week wait but i still cant do this😭😭😭
Ep8 was probably the most interesting episode so far. The group actually using some of their brains with the latest…
I realised Dabeom was mafia the second he reopened Kyungjun's door (I'm sure everyone already knew at that point i'm just horrible at predicting) and him kinda going crazy in front of Kyungjun was a rlly satisfying scene. It makes sense that he's mafia now that I think about it, he's listed as one of the main 6 characters but never had much of a presence, he's definitely gonna have more screentime now. As for Kyungjun, as interesting as he makes the drama I would also love if Dabeom got his revenge, he is truly a horrible person and hasn't improved once. Everyone's theorizing that Kyungjun's police but I think the original writer is the police. The timing of him writing that right after killing Yoojun is off. And he framed Junhee as mafia in the note when at this point we're pretty sure he's not (still a chance tho).
Ep8 was probably the most interesting episode so far. The group actually using some of their brains with the latest murder and a certain student revealing his true colors at the end.
What u said is great, indeed, but that won't save anyone. Not being scared of ghosts is a talent, I would fail…
I agree that it's the writing's fault that they're not paying attention to how supernatural everything is. But I still stand with my point that for the way things are playing out, the FL is one of the best & smartest characters there.

Well after revealing the ghost theories look what happened? No one believed her, not even her best friend. And she has tried, many times to discuss the ghost and possible theories but none of them frankly care because there isn't enough proof, they just want to survive. Which is reasonable. She discovered the crossed out picture, she discovered the CCTV, she's doing a lot more than pretty much anyone else in the building. Wdym 'be afraid of ghost'? If anything she's the complete opposite, always pursuing it whenever it appears. She's clearly one of the smarter ones in the class but she's no mastermind and that's fine. She's a KID. She's trying to survive and she's going to make mistakes but even then she's one of the few actually trying to solve what's going on instead of just simply playing the game.
I can't believe I'm seeing ppl hate on Yoonseo?? She's one of the best FL's i've seen, especially for a survival type drama. She's constantly haunted by that ghost that only ever seems to appear to her and instead of being scared and trying to run away, she approaches it, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Like that takes some guts. She's also the only person other than Junhee to actively stand against the bully and physically try to stop him from attacking the students. Sure, she might make herself look like a suspect with all the ghost stuff but how would she know that the ghost is only showing up in front of her? At least she's trying to find a way to defeat the game without killing more classmates.
I think junhee is not dead. Hope the doctor will aavw him.
i don't think the doctor can save him because he was voted out. if anything, yoonseo will probably be saved by the doctor because she's being killed by the mafia at night.
