looks like im in the minority here but im honestly not bothered by the pacing at all. i was getting a little frustrated with how CLOSE we got to the time travelling being revealed but that's a very typical kdrama style so it's whatever
exactly that's why i cant bring myself to hate him. i dont agree with his choices but i do understand
honestly same. i had hoped he'd turned a new leaf after everything he did to save gilchae in part2 but it looks like he's slipping back and yet i still have a soft spot for him knowing what he's been through and why he loves janghyun so much
The squid game line? He really let that one go without pushing? He knows he’s been sent a "helper" and he doesn’t…
well it was very unexpected and i think he would have pieced it together if he had more time but he suddenly got the call about Yichan so he immediately focused on that
I just LOVE the band and their friendship, especially Kang Hyunyul who stood out a lot in ep11. He's my fav type of character, the type who pretends to be all nonchalant and uncaring but is actually the most loyal out of them all. The way he beat up those bullies for Yichan :( The team's bond is so cute, reminds me of Racket Boys, also starring Choi Hyunwook lol
My only problem with the show is how I feel like they are focusing way to much on HEG and OEY storyline especially…
I think part of the reason the shopkeeper sent Eungyeol AND Eunyu to the same place & time was for the same reason. The shopkeeper might be trying to show that Eungyeol can't change his father's fate and should focus on living his life more. Both Eunyu and Eungyeol were struggling in their present lives, and them falling in love is them being teenagers and doing something for themselves. So I think their love story is just as important as what Eungyeol believes his 'purpose' in being in 1995 is.
ryangeum's backstory omg?? i knew janghyun had saved him but i didn't know it was THAT bad. damn if i was in that situation i too would dedicate the rest of my life to janghyun
I think I'm lowkey gonna be a bit disappointed no matter who Kiho is (out of the brothers) because this guy has been waiting for Mokha for the past 15 years, I want that dramatic emotional reunion but likee if he's already been with her for a while and then it gets revealed it's kinda anticlimatic (like what happened in AOS part2, that was so underwhelming😭).
Oh okay episode 2 gives the "who's Ki Ho" mystery away, really. We know from episode 1 that Ki Ho visits the same…
Someone mentioned it before, but it's possible he could still be visiting there every week because it's become a habit for him. It could still be somehow ingrained in his memory even if he doesn't know why.
I'm so excited for the next episodes. So this is my thought on who is who... I think Bo-Geol is Ki-Ho. When he…
Bogeol's mother couldn't have remarried and then had Woohak because Bogeol is younger. Unless he changed his birthdate but I don't see why he'd go to that extent since that info isn't just randomly given out to strangers.
for me, based off of the trailer, it doesn't seem like either of the male leads is Kiho. i feel like he would've introduced himself straight away if he found her, since he literally did wait at that station for years he's not gonna just pretend like he doesn't know her. for me it feels like the two male leads are just brand new characters that Mokha meets as an adult. I'm honestly so confused about where or how Kiho will fit into this looking at the cast list but it's also nice not knowing everything straight away. realistically speaking, he's either N or CJH but idkkkk neither of them really stuck out in the trailers and we aren't given a clear male lead (among the actors) so it's confusing but ig that's what the writer was going for 🤷♀️
I really enjoyed the first ep despite it having a slow start. But it’s layered, peeling the surface one by one.…
omg i like how you said no one was 'hearing her voice' instead of 'listening to her' idk if that was intentional but it fits well with Mokha's story. the only one in that village to 'hear her voice'- meaning her singing, was also the only one who listened & understood her struggles. as a singer, her voice is her most powerful tool so it hits harder knowing those cops didn't listen to her.
I just can't seem to wrap my mind around why she was taken so forcefully away from her. We know from the latest episode that her mum wasn't some maid or caretaker or even 'illegitimate' mother because they have a family picture of her, Cheongah, and the dad. The only possibility that makes sense is the parents having a divorce, but then why would the father want to keep Cheongah in the first place? He definitely does have some love & affection for her but he also doesn't like the fact that she has a disability and wants to hide that from the public to keep his image of a powerful, perfect family. And if it was a divorce, I'm sure mother and daughter would've had a better farewell than whatever that traumatizing separation was.
