That’s the flaw in the drama. In the novel, they’ve been students only for 1 year, when she was 14-15 and…
At least in the novel it makes more sense lol. If they had just skipped the scene where the Xiao dad died in front of the leads it would've fit more bc then they really would not have reunited as Xiao Jue and Rufei until the court scene. The Double wasnt very realistic either, with a supposedly grown married woman pretending to be a girl that's much younger, but they did well considering censorship limits. They managed to make it work
I know for this drama, with how they've already skipped over quite a few realistic issues regarding He Yan's cross dressing, I shouldn't point out other flaws but I can't help it. Xiao Jue literally interacted with 'He Rufei' multiple times while they were students together, to the point he would've been very familiar with 'his' height and voice (I'm ignoring how blatantly obvious the voice itself is gender-wise), but he didn't blink an eye once He Rufei suddenly appears before him taller and with a different, more masculine voice. How did he not recognize the voice of the person he went to school with when he meets He Yan again? He Yan too, in the short period where she was blind and had to rely on her other senses a lot more. She should've recognized Xiao Jue's voice when they interacted. She literally recognized the voice of the guy that tried to kill her, but not the guy she spent so much time with? I get it's for the plot and dramatics but aaargh
The panelists Chunye & Jerry lowkey piss me off. I've watched the past couple seasons and whenever Jerry is in the panel he alwayyyysss asks "do girls like this?" "are girls into this?" whenever a guy does something romantic n it's so cringe ur literally pushing 50 and ur the oldest in the group why are u of all people asking what girls are into when the girls ur asking are almost half ur age it's such an ick. And in the last season I dont remember the details but there was a love triangle & Chunye was rooting for one guy so much that she started bashing the other guy and criticizing his actions. That guy was already getting a lot of hate from viewers too for not being straightforward enough or something but honestly as a panelist she should have had the common sense Not to be so mean abt a participant on camera. She shouldn't have been on this panel. The only ones I like are Minghao, Hankizi, & Victor.
Totally agree! I've been watching Heart Signal S08 and I have to skip every time the panelists show up...they…
Oh my god yes I get like a 5 min discussion about what happened onscreen but I Hate when they go on a whole 20 min talk about their love lives and how it affected them psychologically or whatever, the show is about the dating cast not you!!
I'm rooting for Doudou & Lechen even tho their interactions are far from romantic I think i just like the friends-to-lovers arc and i love how easily they both interact with each other and joke around
The drama's pretty good, the one small complaint I have is whenever Misa mentions the future, even in the tiniest mutter, the person beside her will be like "what?" and she'll brush it off somehow. It was okay the first few times, but this happens Every. Single. Time. that it's become redundant. Like let's be real here, if your friend occasionally mutters something to herself, you're not gonna ask what she said every time. And it's always when she talks about thr future, it's just a little too on the nose
I get that Gyeonggu was revealed to be gay and that he and Miji were only fake dating, but I didn't really understand Miji's outburst at that guy during the wedding scene. Does that mean the guy knew all along that Gyeonggu was gay and had a crush on him? Miji obviously knew Gyeonggu was gay 10 years ago when they started "dating", so I don't understand why she got so mad when that guy explained the stuff she already knew
When a man pursues someone who isn't interested, it's often seen as true love or loyalty. But when a woman pursues…
Well in this case no because Jeyeon was reciprocating Jimin's feelings to an extent and was visibly considering him versus Jimin who is visibly Not interested in Haneul and she understands those signals but still chooses to chase after him
it's gonna be interesting to see how their mother responds to the twin swap, whether they tell her or not since they mentioned that she can't tell them apart
It's so funny how some people are claiming that the show was scripted just bc their fave didn't win. Like cmon, do you think s1 was scripted as well? It makes no sense. Just accept the winner won by using their tactics and ability to predict others' actions. The hate is absolutely unnecessary, it's a game that requires smarts and manipulation for god's sake
Sohiee cries and refuses to let Hyungyu play alone and be "ganged up on." But then is suddenly perfectly fine…
The difference is that she has already formed a bond with Hyungyu from the beginning compared to Hyunjoon & 7high. They were BOTH loyal to each other. And she never said the food was causing her cramps, this is such a weird thing to hate on?? You see a man and a woman share a close bond and automatically assume they're interested in each other, that's so immature
The Double wasnt very realistic either, with a supposedly grown married woman pretending to be a girl that's much younger, but they did well considering censorship limits. They managed to make it work
