It is also under the "fantasy" genre so it should be fine. Unless the producers didn't put it under that genre in China and only put "Historical/Romance", then it would have problems.

You guys really failed to see the lord's true goal. He forced FL to out her father during the banquet not because he's righteous but rather he wanted to use that as an opportunity to claim that FL is a righteous and sensible woman who puts righteousness above family. Basically, he staged that so she could earn some scores from the nobles/public. So it'll be easier for them to be together (easier for him to marry her without many disapprovals). FL saw through it and didn't want to marry him so she took all the blames instead of her father. This is a very selfish method from the lord.

They grew up together. FL, ML & ZYL were friends when they were kids. She liked him & ML liked her but she didn't know that. MY & ZYL fell in love when they're adults already. When they met, she kinda recognized him as the boy she met in the temple as a kid but he didn't recognize her. And yea, Idk why & how FL was so deep in love with ZYL & did everything just to get him. ML is more perfect- he holds a higher status and position than ZYL. Why didn't she choose him? I guess just like she said, she loved the wrong person. That's why in this life, she doesn't love him.

Agree. Even though I know they're playing a very young character, it becomes annoying now since they overdone it, like most drama has that.

I understand that part about MY. But they had a such deep love, wouldn't that sprinkle a little bit when they're together, especially ZYL?

SML (the husband) and MY look so boring together. When they're together, it's just plain and dead + their facial expressions making it even more boring. They already married, so it's not wrong if they show affections. They're so dead in love and kept their words since little but no love was showing when they're together.
Btw, FL did a great job so far. I didn't think she would be able to carry a drama, but she did. So good job. Hopefully, it'll be like this til the end or get even better. And ofc, the cast did a good job too.

She also knows martial art. FL's brother doesn't know martial arts and he's weak. Doesn't make sense how he could do all that to her. I'm sure the husband wouldn't be so stupid/blind to avoid these details.
