The FL went back three years to correct her wrong doings. Despite her efforts she is being suspected by everyone…
They probably didn't know how to show their love, especially the mom and brother? In ep1, the mom and brother got 20 slashes and died for the crime of releasing a wanted criminal which I believed was FL. The brother was dumb but he didn't sell out his little sister from the eps we had so far.
Just finished this drama. It started good/ok then went meh.., boring for me. I still had to push through to finish it since I already got half way through. I don't know why but I'm more interesting about the sister's character more than the FL. But too bad they had to killed her off so FL could replace her. General Tao was a good and decent man. Even thought he loved Nie Sang Yu so much, he was happy for her to marry ML becuz if she's happy, he's happy. When he agreed to marry Nie Qing Yun, it showed he made reasonable choice- ex. she's a good girl. It's time to let go of this love that he has for Nie sang Yu. His sudden turned bad upon learning about Nie Sang Yu's death and became so obsessed with revenge is weird and pushy. It's like they need someone to be bad just to get the plot going.
After I hesitated for so long and almost forgot about this drama, I finally picked this drama up. I just wanna say WOW. Minglan is 1 of the best female characters ever written in the drama land. She's not the typical naive, innocent and kind heroic in drama land. She's not the typical type of female lead that is smart but due to her "KIND HEART", she let it go or can't carry the action to hurt the enemy. Even though Minglan is kind, her character goes toward the grey area. She's not a white or black character. I love that about it.
I was thinking the same especially cos I just finished The Blue Whisper and Forever and Ever and just started…
LOL, same. I thought of many possibilities to convince myself that his voice is ok, but I just couldn't get through it. -.- Realistically, a general will use his voice a lot- he has to project his voice to command and train his soldiers across the field. So usually, a general will have a loud and strong voice.
Enjoying this drama so far. But Ren Jia Lun's voice really puts me off. His small and mono tone-ish voice makes him less believable as a general. He doesn't look like a general already. With his voice, it even further makes him less convincing as a general. His comrade seems more like a general than him. I usually prefer the actor's voice, but this is an exception especially for a role as a general. I think with dub, it will make him more convincing as a general.
Saying all of that makes you feel better now? The topic was about his grade>the performance+the standard Chris talked about. So quoting the phrase you said doesn't mean ignoring what you said and used it out of context. I thought we both have different opinions, so it's better to agree to disagree. But that's short sighted and not good as well. So whatever makes you happy I guess.
I didn't mock how you phrase your words/sentences if you ever felt that way. I quoted it because it is what you said. We can agree to disagree on what we had been discussed about.
"key word performance"- but the standard, the standard you said they focus on and being more critical. It's like they set him as an example, but he only stood while others jumped and moved around. I got what you said, but I'm not sure if you got what I said at all. I know it took them a while to make that decision. The so called "critical standard" should be judged on when the trainees compete in team with each other where they all have to dance+sing/rap, that would be better to see who's actually good. Stand singing has more advantages than dance+sing/rap.
So far, if we just cut Lisa out, the 3 mentors do seem like a team. If we add Lisa in, it does seem a bit off. And yea I do agree that it has to do with her couldn't be there in person as well. It does seem like they have that straight face, lol.
You keep pushing on it's about what was performed. Do you get it how people questioning it? Like we said earlier how an A should be a rounder. He got A just solely for his vocal, nothing else. Like how are you gonna be A just for only vocal. How are we gonna incorporate this into the standard Chris talked about when other trainees sang and danced at the same time while he only sang while standing? They are not gonna debut to be an idol group that sing while standing only though. People do have a valid point to question it, no? Of course I know the ranking will be different based on votes, etc. But we are talking about this particular part that's raising question.
Ella definitely makes it more fun with the 4 of them, Kun also. They seem to be together. For this season, for some parts, it does seem like they don't pay attention to Lisa voicing out her opinions. You like the 3 of them, that's cool. But there are people that asking why Lisa doesn't seem like a part of the team. That's why I said part of the problem is probably the editing.
There are many good vocal trainees, definitely not weak vocal but they didn't make it to A. I do see where your saying now since he didn't show his dance so they only judged him based on his vocal. A lot of the audience questioning his ranking do have a valid. You know like showing he is capable of singing and dancing. He even said it that he isn't good it in. He sings and raps but not dance, you do know that it's not gonna be good for him in an idol group? The mentors mostly focus on the vocal part. Like I said earlier, the one that's gonna suffer will be the trainee if his dance is bad or he couldn't dance. If his dance is good, he will be a rounder.
I saw many people talked about the mentors in ss2. So I watched it and their chemistry does seem better than ss3's. For some parts, it seemed like they didn't even listen to Lisa when she voiced her opinions. Part of that probably has to do with the editing as well. And to be fair, we are only 2 eps in ss3, so we'll see how their chemistry grow.
