EXACTLY!!! i had such mixed emotions in that scene, i felt so so so bad for joe for having to say it first and actually realising that everything was a lie, but i also respected him so much for facing it head on. If you haven't watched it, its basically about this guy called joe and hes like this weird stalker who gets obsessed with this woman, and he starts making a whole plan on how hes gunna make her fall in love w him, like he plans 'accidental ' meeting and stuff, and he tries to distance people in her life from her, like he does some propa creepy toxic shit.

I wont spoil what happens at the end of s1, but in s2, hes with another woman, Love, and he starts the whole thing again.

Moving onto season 3, love and joe are married and they've just had a son. They move to a new town to restart their lives, and the moment they step through their house, he falls in love w the woman next door.
And you guessed it, he does the whole thing again, he goes full obsessive stalker mode, all whilst being married with a child.
In the beginning few eps, him and love have sex,
BUT.....
Whilst doing it, joe was carrying the next door womans underwear, and was imagining that he was doing it with her.
Yes, you read that right, he was imagining that he was having sex w someone else when he was doing it with his wife.
Sounds familiar, doesnt it??
