If they already have the evidence, they should definitely move forward with his sentence so he can get any help he needs, its completely unfair to him that his trials are being elongated for no reason.
My point is just that we shouldnt just blindly protect celebrities that we like when they have done something wrong.
Of course, i understand that people care about him, but i just think that the best thing that we can do for him is allow him to serve his sentence and then receive the help he needs

i wasnt hating on him, and i was not being ignorant, i just simply stated my fair, unbiased and simple opinion
instead of just calling me ignorant and leaving it there, if you could have been a little more mature and explained as to why you think that way, and then maybe we could have understood each other a little better, even if we don't agree.
it sounds to me that you are a fan who will just turn a blind eye to the real problem when your beloved idol has clearly done something wrong.
if it was a random person on the news who was being investigated for drug-related crimes, would you call the police, or whoever is investigating them, or someone who thinks they should be punished ignorant? i bet you wouldnt.
using drugs is a crime. its against the law. thats a fact.
if he was proven to have used illegal drugs, he should be punished according to the law, just like any normal person, just because he is a celebrity liked by many, and im guessing that includes you, doesnt make him an exception.
under the law, we should all be equal.
many users have expressed (on the comments sections of other celebs on mdl, or other news, etc) that things like this shouldnt matter because theyre not harming anyone else, or they may reference other cases where a celebrity committed a worse crime and got less/no punishment and hate, and i fully understand where they are coming from, but that doesnt change the fact that what he did was against the law, and so he should get punished for that.
ofcourse, its a massive shame that there are still many criminals out there that havent been punished due to connections, status, power, money, etc, but that doesnt mean less worse crimes should get overlooked, a crime is still a crime, no matter how big or small.
personally, i believe and hope that people who dont receive punishment for the crimes they commit on this earth will surely face a more severe punishment by God in hell.
also, if he is struggling with drug-addiction, he does need help, just like any normal person.
