At epi 5. When the moms were teasing DaRim for having hands like she's never done hard work and hence implied her husband takes care of their child i was thinking, but wasn't she mopping floors before this job and surely she does her housework herself so what moisturizer, spill.
Then when she was so surprised to realize that a day and a half of labor pain followed by a c-section is painful and disappointing i was thinking, but girl you get period cramps and nobody told you that labor pain is 100 times that pain, so u can understand.
I am waiting for all the episodes to release. Meanwhile making do with the clips on yt. But why all the characters look AI-yassified🤔 They are naturally beautiful people already.
So i started yesterday only and binged to episode 12 half ish already. I see we are arriving at the final destination of forgiveness and hea. But i really don't see Shu Lang forgiving Fan Xaio even with whatsoever he's done for atonement. Dunno how they'll get there.
I really love Xu lang's character, one of the strongest, firmest and smartest characters ever. I don't love love Fan Xiao's character but he's written without any excuse. Like no accidental, surprising 180° character reform. Even when he's atoning he's not a converted mush ball. He sticks to his toxic style. And the arch is given time.
I loved this little incestuous piece of wonderfulness. The actors are great looking good actors with the most sizzlingest chemistry in kbl. I mean i still love the heat between my boys from semantic error and where your eyes linger, but this one's a different category, a bolder one, in chemi producing.
I'd have loved it even without the predictable reveal at the end that hey! "they're aren't actually really cousins!" "so f^cking is totes okeys!".
I am not squeamish abt incest plots, nor have i a fetish for it. It's ok if it's well integrated or fits contextually in a story. Irl if you're f^cking your cousin consentually, none of my biz. What I'm not a fan of is excusing your characters out of incest using mousy crap like "they aren't blood related " like relationships are just legal contracts with loopholes. My brother is my brother and my cousin is my brother not just bc of our blood but because we grew up with that feeling. At least that's how i feel.
I'd prefer if stories own incest instead of halfassing the forbidden love trope by being greedy about keeping their characters innocent. Do it like got, crimson peak, hemlock grove, etc. did. Make me hate it or feel guilty about liking this fatally criminal relationship if i think incest is bad, so so bad. Unhhh.
I couldn't wait anymore 😥 and i know i am gonna regret cos i am loving it and got a feeling it'll end on an excruciatingly unputdownable cliffhanger this week 🥶
I want to watch Speed and love. Based on the comments on its page i think I'll like the angst bc i have been craving for angsty loveships for some time. But i am hesitating to start because... Esther. She was once one of my faves, from my boyfriend is an alien 2 to fairy and devil to my journey to you. But then i realized she doesn't give variety in characters, she can, but she won't bc i think casting directors expect this certain type of acting from her -- pouty, infantile, baby voiced. I am not a fan of that for every character.
Why am i talking about Esther Yu and Speed and love on Dynamite kiss' page? No, i am not lost. Just trying to illustrate a point.
From Speed and love i know what to expect. Either it'll be a no surprise if my expectation is met or I'll be pleasantly surprised if Esther delivers a completely different style. Both are acceptable.
But with this drama, i was excited the moment I saw the trailer. Huge fan of Ahn eun jin and love Jang Ki yong. Was saving it for the Christmas weekend. But the moment the drama was 15 minutes in, i knew i am in for a 16th century damsel in distress of a tsunami proportion saved by a knight in rich, shining armor story type. Unexpected and don't like if not done interestingly. This is not done interestingly.
I mean she's so unfortunate that her misfortune thwarts her from existential functioning and her blighted fortune is rewarded by a black card holding big hearted fanboy. Take a trekking.
I am only on episode 5, will the show establish her luck to get this rich, hot savior as her true merit? I saw what she's capable of at work. But will that be important?
Every event of him rescuing her, written to build moments, is cliche and cringe. I love clichés when they are executed right. I don’t even care about plot when the moments between otp is swoon. I watched Devilish joy a million times. But it has to work. This isn't working. They have great chemistry but the moments aren't working. They'll be great as moments stiched together in a fmv, but the show isn't interesting or their story isn't giving me butterflies.
I was keeping up hope but when he saved her from the moneylender kidnappers using his black card and bridal carried her out of the warehouse, or garage whatever that place was, i felt like writing an essay and i am not happy about it. It's too much work and i am too lazy for it 😓
I am sooo excited to see my girl ji hyun in another saeguk. But at the same time can't with Ha Seok Jin constantly playing supporting characters. He's too talented for this.
Liked it a lot mostly because of the dance, acting and chemistry. The hardwork was evident and the sexual tension was palpable. Don't know why it's called 10 dance tho when they didn't show 10 dance. And i am not satisfied with the ending. Not because i naturally don't like open unclear endings but because suzuki felt used and chucked off by sugiki and that's the end.

Pretty good show is what I m trynna say.

Nonetheless, I loved this show.
